E75 email crash after new messages received via IM...

Hi guys,
I just changed my E66 to E75 and everything seemed ok, VoiP over sipgate works perfectly, querty keyboard is awsome, but I found one little problem which is a bit irritating.
I have two email boxes configured on my device, both are configured to receive emails via WI-FI and IMAP protocol. When I open one of them, it connects to the server automatically and receives new emails. Everything is brilliant when 1-3 new emails arrives but when I get more (5 or even 20 messages) the email reader crashes and closes all email application. When I enter to it again, I can see and read all theses new emails as normal. The issue is about the need to go to my email reader twice every time. I am pretty sure that this is the firmware issue, but I already have the latest one installed.
Does anybody have the same issue? Did anybody solve this?
P.S. Nokia guys, you make a great stuff. I changed more than 20 different Nokia models within past 5 years and all business class models were perfect. Newer ones are better and better as well. Cheers!

My hotmail won't work either.
I have had problems since updating to the new software which was advised in a text message from Nokia.
I have also had problems with text messaging but that now seems to work ok.

Even after i choose to only receive mail manually when i select the mail icon it seems that the phone is still receiving mail even after i selected it not to. I proved it myself when i signed up to receive mail from ebay from my personal pc. it also received on my iphone even though i never opened the mail icon

I've noticed the same thing - even though I've set all my email accounts to 'manual,' when I check the phone after awhile away I find new messages have been dowloaded. Are other people having this problem? Any solutions? It's minor (I don't receive that much email) but annoying.

E mail. I can not send email to a contact from my list. When I hit their email address, the new message box comes up but the send icon is not highlighted and I can not send it. Why? How do I fix it. Happens on both I pad Air 2 and I Phone 5

WWhen I press the email of a contact, the new message box appears with the address but the send icon is not highlighted. Even after typing a message, I can not send it. This is on both I Phone 5 and I Pad Air 2. this just started and not sure what I did. Help please?

Playbook email Folders for new "Messages."

I am getting confuseder and confuseder How do you create additional folders and sub folders in the new "native email" application in OS2?
This is the most elegant email client I have seen but there is precious little help available and what is, is obvious and could be lerned by try and fail. It can't be found but there must be a way to create more folders for saving messages received and sent.

Creating folders in the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet's native email application is not available. Are you trying to separate individual email accounts or just filter specific messages?

Mail Crashing On New Message

Hi,
10.4.7 running on G5 iMac. Mail has suddenly started to crash with the selection of File> New> Message. Reply, Forward and the New Message button all have stopped working. It will recieve mail just fine. I have rebuilt each mail box, deleted old messages. No Luck. Is there a way to re install Mail?

Well, you shouldn't have reinstalled Mail. Now that you have done it, you're going to proceed as follows before attempting anything else.
Verify/repair your disk first (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, reinstall the latest system update using the Combo installer, to bring the Mail application back in sync with the rest of the system:

Take a look at the following articles for guidelines on how to properly install system updates:
Troubleshooting installation and software updates
Installing software updates
Basically, you should verify/repair the boot volume before installing the update, and no applications should be running while installing it.
Post back with your observations when done (the above won't fix your problem, but we cannot proceed further until you've done it).

Mail App Crashing After Downloading Messages

I have a 16GB 3Gs that just this evening the Mail app started crashing just after downloading all the new messages. I have rebooted the phone three times and I have also updated the iPhone software to 3.1.2 but the Mail app is still crashing.
Any suggestions on what I can do to try and fix the problem?

Bring message window to front when new message received

Is there any way in Messages to have the Messages window open if closed and come to front when a new message is received? I think iChat used to do that.
The notifications only last a few seconds and can easily be missed.

Hi,
The Notifications can be changed between Banners (temporary) and Alerts (permanent until dealt with).
The DOCK icon should still get the red numbers to indicate waiting to view chats.
Most people don't seem to want a Messages window (As large as it is) jumping to the "Front"
In Messages itself you can set the Dock icon to Bounce and add the repeat option as well.
I know of no way to actually do what you want.
Someone might have an AppleScript option.

Mail how to save an email address from new message created?

Hi, I create a new message, type in the address, but i want to save the address in the address book. How the heck is this possible?
If i select the email address i control click it, there is NO menu and no options to save the address.
If i click on the AddressBook button in the tool bar, there is no add button, and i can't drag it to across either, or copy/paste.
The Help says "In a message that you are sending, click the arrow in a Smart Address you have entered and choose "Add to Address Book" from the pop-up menu." There is absolutely NO arrow and NO menu. Even when i turn ON 'Use Smart Addresses' There is absolutely Nothing in ANY menu that lets me save the address.
So how the frell is it even possible to save an address? So what, i have to send the email first then wait for someone to reply before i can select 'Add sender to AddressBook' from the message menu? This is madness and certainly not easy or intuitive. And what is the point of the AddressBook button in new messages toolbar?It does nothing. It opens a window and has no options to add an address or enter any details, only has 'TO' But i already know the address!!! Even if i create a new mail , I click the Address book button highlight the address in the list then click the 'TO' button, it does absolutely nothing, im expecting it to just add this address to the address field in the new mail i just created. I then closed the new mail, instead i click the AddressBook button in the main Mail app toolbar, i select an address in the resulting window, hit the 'TO" button, and mail creates a new message, but it doesn't add the address to the new mail's address field, nor does it close it self behind. What a disaster. I thought this was supposed to be simple and eazy, its a nightmare of a design.
I tried 10.4.5 and now just upgraded to 10.4.6 same problem.
Frustrated at the lack of intuitiveness.

Simplest I find is to send the message then look at it in your Sent mailbox. Move the mouse over the To: address and the address will get a blue bubble background with a drop-down arrow at the right end; click this and one of the options should be "add to address book".
When you start a new message, and click the Address book icon on its toolbar, an address book window should appear with all the entries (individual and group) from your address book. Selecting one (or several) of the entries and clicking to will add them to the To header in your new mail. Alternatively you can drag them. If this is not the behaviour you are seeing, please repost with a more descriptive subject. (It is better for both those trying to help, and those seeking solutions, if the problem described matches the subject!)
Once you have brought up the little address book window its design behaviour is to stay until you dismiss it; as you say, it does not close when you close the new email. At this stage, selecting an entry and clicking To should start a new email with the To header containing the selected email address. If this is not happening I suspect it is related to your previous problem, so I would include the description there.

Problem encrypting email when composing New Message

This may be a bug in Mail app version 4.2 (1078). I am trying to send an encrypted email to a recipient. I already have the recipient's public key in Key Access. If i click on the New Message button and i enter the recipient's email address, the encrypt button is greyed out and i cannot click on it to encrypt the email. However, if i click on the Reply button or if i click on the sender's name and choose the "New Message" option in a digitally signed email sent to me earlier, i can encrypt the email without any problem.
I have tried deleting the recipient's entry in my address book and add it back by clicking on his name and selecting "Add to Address Book" in the digitally signed email sent to me, but still, that did not help.
Anyone else seen this before?

I made sure that both certificates were created with the Data Encipherment option set, but the padlock icon never gets enabled.

POP3 server emails stopped after new update of 503

Last week messge appeared on screen that new update version (14.0.4) available for your mobile Asha 503. I select yes to upgrade my phone from older version to new. after upgrade procedur my office POP3 server email stopped & not working from that time. i contact to my office network administrator to check any possibility to enable my email but he asked me there is no any chance to receive my email because he tried lot of time to re configure but it vain. please help

The easiest way to track this is: Capture the network traffic! This can be done via a:
A) Wi-Fi access point which allows capturing. Alternatively, you go for a
B) Ethernet Switch behind the Wi-Fi access-point which allows port mirroring. A third alternative is to
C) install Connectify on a computer and use that as capturing Wi-Fi access-point
for your Nokia Asha 503.
In all cases, you use tools like Wireshark to analyze the data traffic. However, because you are in contact with your administrator already: Does he see any data packet from your Nokia Asha 503 at all? If not, the Internet configuration could have been damaged while updating. Nokia Xpress browser is using a slightly different configuration, therefore it might not be affected.

Adressbook after new installation of 10.6.8. crashes after new entry

I made a brandnew installation of Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) on my iMac Intel [Model iMac 6,1, Intel Core 2 Duo, 3GB, Boot Rom IM61.0093.B07]. Now my adressbook doesn't work correct anymore. I did re-import the back up. When I want to add a new adress, save it or just close the application, the adressbook crashes.
I've already tried to reinstall from the original DVD. I also read, maybe the system-font's might cause this problem. I also tried to copy the old fonts back and also tried a new installation. It still doesn't work.
It would be great to find a solution to this problem.

Update: Booted into single-user mode, checked disk via fsck -f (had to force it), no problems found.
Booted with Snow Leopard installer CD and ran Disk Utlity - repaired permissions and repaired disk. No problems found. 'Macintosh HD appears to be OK'.
Tried booting again - still hanging. Will let it go longer this time, but I'm not hearing any disk activity...

Itunes crashing after new update?

I downloaded the most recent update to itunes when it came out a few weeks ago, whenever it came out. Over the past few days when I have tried to sync any of my devices, a new iPad, an iPhone 4s, or the iPhone 5 I got today, itunes will start the sync and when it gets to syncing the music, it crashes my computer. And I do not have a bad computer, it is a Samsung, Windows 7, with Intel i5, and 4 GB of RAM. Has anyone else had this problem?

Desktop Manager 6 Crashes after new install

I was hapilly using DTM6 but installed a SSD after a HDU failure. Now DTM6 crashes every time I open it. I have re-installed several times, to different locations and even a different HDU. After each crash I have cleaned out registry, etc. but it seems that going back to DTM5 is the only answer. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am having the exact same problem. V6 was actually installed and running on my laptop a few weeks ago (I don't use it that often). Then two days ago I tried to use it and it crashed. I downloaded the software file and did a 'repair' installation, but it still crashed. I uninstalled it, reloaded it from the downloaded software and it still crashed. I uninstalled it, installed version 5 which worked, then used the upgrade option from that to install v 6 and it crashed.
I have tried turning off my anti-virus during the download and installation, and every other program I could identify as unnecessary via Windows manager, but it still crashes.
I am running Windows XP with all the latest Service Packs.

Premiere CC Keeps crashing after new OS X Yosemite update

After updating to the new OS X Yosemite Premiere CC has been very unstable and crashing almost hourly. Thankfully there is a recovery file but this is still frustrating and time consuming.
Has anyone else been experiencing the same problem and is there a fix?

Hi Roland,
Mac OS X users might be subject to anomalies in the OS.
Try the following:
Sign out from Creative Cloud, restart Premiere Pro, then sign in
Update any GPU drivers
Trash preferences
Ensure Adobe preference files are set to read/write
Delete media cache
Remove plug-ins
If you have AMD GPUs, make sure CUDA is not installed
Repair permissions
In Sequence Settings > Video Previews, change the codec to one that matches your footage
Disconnect any third party hardware
If you have a CUDA GPU, ensure that the Mercury Playback Engine is set to CUDA, not OpenCL
Disable App Nap
Reboot
Report back if anything here worked for you.
