E75 Firmware update not found

My E75 is currently installed with the 100.48.78 version.
When I check this site using my productcode it now says that the 110.xxxxx is available.
However, when using the phone the SW-"search" (my phone is in danish and I don't know the english word for the application) teels there's an update available. BUT if I go to the devicemanagement to try and do an update it teels me after connecting to Nokia that there are no available updates ?!?!?!?!?!?!?
My product code is 0582105 if that helps
I hope that someone can help me.
Best regards, Peter

 Hi All,
I'm hoping i may be able to help some of you.
I've been trying to fix this problem on my Directors phones for sometime now. They had the problem where by they would try to forward or reply to an email, it would say 'queued for sending' in the outbox then it would never send! I went through the process of trying to get a software upgrade through the PC suite and FOTA but with no avail, there is no software update for these UK phones (even if Nokia tell you, which is what they told me)
In the end i managed to fix this by getting the original configurations setting sent to the phone. This is basically when you get a new phone your service provider will send you congfiguration setting to save onto your phone so things such as WAP, emails, MMS work properly. Got them sent, saved them, phone works perfect.
02 for example, send the word ACTIVE to 2020 and you'll recieve the settings!
Hope this helps at least someone!

  • Nokia 5800xm firmware update not found!

    hello0!
Nokia has released many firmware updates since they had released nokia 5800xm.But still i am stucked with firmware v21.0.025.I cant find any updates via OTA.
I want to know whether my phone's product code is something that is preventing my phone from recieving updates.
My phones product code is 0588668

    hi mate,
if you are checking then you may very well have a branded handset, in which case you will need to contact your network carrier and ask if they ever planned on releasing the firmware updates for your device.
in the case they do not, then you can ask them for written permission to remove the branded firmware, and then take your phone to your nearest Nokia Care who will be able to install the generic, unbranded v60 firmware onto your device: http://nokia.com/support

  • Late 2009 Mac Mini EFI 2.1 Firmware update not needed/already factory installed?

Here has been my issue of trying to figure out if Mac Mini can handle (and fully use) 8GB of RAM with my current EFI version.
I want to upgrade to 8GB on a LATE 2009 Mac Mini that currently has Boot ROM MM31.00AD.B00 and was told to update with EFI Firmware update 2.1 but it does not install saying "This update is not needed on this machine".
I found various contradicting posts saying that I need my Boot ROM to be MM31.0081.B06 or my machine won't utilize the 8GB fully
and will slow down in performance and/or crash after the Apple recommended 4GB.
But here's what I found interesting. Some users have mentioned that the Late 2009 Mac Mini's shipped with updated firmware and don't need this update but could not find a concrete answer as to yes it did ship with it or not.
Apple doesn't even list a Late 2009 Mac Mini as needing a Firmware update in this list of Firmware updates:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1237 . Should I just assume that my machine shipped with said update and is capeable of the 8GB? I use this for Logic Pro 9 as a somewhat portable workstation that I can take with me so maxing out the RAM would be ideal for me.
Any help or clarification would be greatly apprishiated,
    Nelson

Actually a Late 2009 can take 8GB of RAM and only the Early 2009 needs the EFI update.

  • Adobe Flash update "Not Found" ?? since my update to Froyo

After the system update to Android 2.2, appbrain keeps telling me that Adobe Flash is ready for update, but when I try to install it says "Not Found".  What is messed up?  Other than needing a new Swype beta, this is the only 'whoops' I have experienced.  I like being able to turn phone either way and have the browser recognise it.

@GL17oxford... Flash 10.1 comes pre-installed with 2.2 upgrade. However, you are correct that there is an Flash Player 10.1 update on the market which for some reason does not show up on the DROID Incredible immediately after the upgrade. The update on the market is a fix release which solves some issues with performance and will show up in the market eventually. It did for me a few days ago. Just keep going back to Android Market and search for "Flash Player 10.1". And beware that you only install the one that is published by Adobe Systems. Another way to search would be : pub:"Adobe Systems". Hope this helps...Cheers!

  • Firmware Update Not Working?

I tried the firmware update this morning so I can try out the bootcamp beta and it does not appear to be working. Here's what's happening:
    1.) Launch the firmware updater
    2.) Click "Shut Down"
3.) Hold down the power button until the LED flashes several times
4.) The screen is black and the computer makes a long beep
5.) A folder with a question mark is briefly displayed, and then the apple logo comes up, and the machine proceeds to boot into OS X. Upon completion, the firmware updater launches again. No progress, no nothing.
I thought maybe I needed to revert my firmware to the factory original firmware, so I downloaded the restoration disk image and burned it. However, when I follow the instructions for the restoration, I get the same results. The LED flashes several times and I get a beep. I never get the other flashing sequence (3 quick flashes, 3 slow flashes, 3 quick flashes, or whatever it is).
    Anyone else having these problems?

I applied the (respective) firmware updates to my MacBook Pro and my iMac Core Duo. Apart from the fact that Apple doesn't mention the piercing beep after you release the power button, everything went according to their description. There is a fair delay between that ominous beep and the appearance of the progress bar, but in the end, everything went to plan. When you log in the first time after the update, there's an alert to tell you that the firmware updated completed normally. Also, the screen brightness has reverted to maximum on my iMac (but not the MacBook). Other settings, including the fact that audio was muted at the time I began the update process, were retained.

  • Firmware updates not being installed

    Hey,
I have a Mid-2012 MacbookAir with all the latest software updates. There are only three firmware updates that always show up over and over again after I've installed them. I've tried everything but the firmware just won't get updated.
    Updates:
Macbook Air SMC Firmware Update 1.9
    Thunderbolt Firmware Update 1.2
Macbook Air Flash Storage Firmware Update 1.1
    What I've tried:
    Reset SMC
Fix drive and drive permissions in recovery mode
Install updates manually from apple.com in safe-mode
Delete contents of /system/library/firmware updates/ folder
Yes the charger has been connected to the computer while updating. I have never used FileVault so it's not on. My computer is working fine, but I'd like to have these updates installed because they fix some serious problems that might eventually break my computer or erase all my data if left unfixed. On top of that I can't install Mavericks until I have Flash Storage Firmware 1.1 update installed.
Does anyone have any ideas what to do next?

Back up all data. Quit the App Store application if it’s running. Test after each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Updates
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
    Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder selected. Move the contents of the selected folder to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
    Step 2
Do as in Step 1 with this line:
    /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
If there's no change, quit the App Store and restore the file you moved from your backup, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Otherwise, recreate your settings in the Software Update preference pane.
    Step 3
Hold down the option key and select
    Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash (some may not exist):
    Caches/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate
    Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
    Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.*.plist
    Saved Application State/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.savedState
Here, "*" stand for a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes.
    Step 4
If you still have problems, quit the App Store again.
Select this line and copy it to the Clipboard:
    open $TMPDIR../C
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window. Depending on which web browser you use, you may have to press the return key. A folder should open. Inside that folder, there may be a subfolder with the name "com.apple.SoftwareUpdate". If so, delete it. You can then quit Terminal.

  • IPod driver update not found

    Hi,
I got a brand new Nano for Christmas and cannot get it connected to iTunes. I have tried the 5 R's, read through a number of forum messages but have not found anything that works yet. The iPod is recognized when hooked up to a newer laptop, but on my computer it doesn't show up in iTunes or Windows Explorer. I've got the latest version of iTunes installed.
I've tried all 4 USB ports on the back of my computer. The Device Manager says that I have a Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller which I understand means that I have USB 2.0 ports. There is an entry for iPod under Other Devices that has a yellow question mark on it. When I look at the properties it says:
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.
When I try to reinstall it does not find any drivers automatically and does not find anything in C:\windows\inf. There is an entry for Apple iPod USB driver under Universal Serial Bus controllers and the properties say that it is working correctly. However, when I choose the troubleshooter, it says "This application has failed to start because bnts.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
The iPod itself says "Connected Eject before disconnecting" when hooked up to the USB port.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    - Laurie

hmmmm. okay, i think your idea about the PC not recognising what kind of ipod it is might be on the money. that can sometimes hit people if the connection to the ipod is flaky to precisely the right/wrong degree (enough to see an ipod, but not enough to recognise it correctly).
so perhaps let's keep working on the poor connection possibilities. trying a different cable was a good idea. also check to see if you can get better recognition on a USB port at the back of the PC rather than the front, or if you unplug other high-power USB 2.0 peripherals.
if you have access to another PC with iTunes 7.0.2.16 installed, try seeing if you can get better recognition for the restore on that.

  • MB Air firmware update - not restarting

Got a firmware update message for MB Air, told to disconnect and then it went into restart but Air doesn't seem as if it is on. Perhaps I'm being impatient, hope I didn't do anything wrong. (On my MB Pro now.)

Can you provide the  firmware version from your MBA? What OS version are you running?
If you can provide /var/log/appstore.log and /var/log/install.log it would be very helpful to resolve issues that others have during this update. These logs are available in Applications -> Utilities -> Console.

  • Firmware File Not Found

    Hello All:
I would appreciate any assistance you could offer. I attempted to upgrade my iPod 60 GB to version 1.2. Somewhere along the line, a file was corrupted and now I cannot either update or restore the iPod. When I select either function I receive the following error message:
The iPod XXXX could not be updated b/c the firmware file could not be found.
I attmepted to restore it with an older version of Ipod updater. Afterwards, I reinstalled all music and vide and again attempted to update the iPod using iTunes 7-same freaking error message. I then tried to restore it. Same freaking error message.

  • Software update problem : updates not found on 8088

    Hello,
I recently found that when I performed an update on my clients they always reported Up to date. I then made them point to Apple's software update and they found that Itunes and a performance update was necessary.
So I tried to find what was wrong. My server seems to have downloaded all the latest updates (including ITunes and the performance update).
I disabled SoftwareUpdate and reenabled it.
Now my clients can't even connect to my Software Update server : the bar stays fix for a really long time.
When I look at the logs from my server : I see that a few products can't be downloaded :
Product 061-7024 will not be available for installation.
Unable to download or create .smd file for product
But maybe the main problem is that when I try to contact http://myserver:8088/
I dont see anything and when I try http://myserver:8088/index.sucatalog it begins to open the file but displays only the file's beginning. It keeps downloading the rest of the file really slowly (I think that's what makes the bar stays fix when I try to update).
    Any clue ?
    p.a

    Hello again,
After a few more tests, I noted this.
Before restarting Software update, new updates weren't visible to clients.
After restarting Software update : Clients unable to connect to Software Update Server : bar stays fix for a very long time. In fact it appears to be a really slow connection to the server. After a few minutes the available updates appear (ITunes and Performance update). If I click to install them. Downloading begins but it's very slow 1k/s approximately.
I tried to untick Bandwidth limitation that was set to 1Mo/s. And after restarting Software Update, surprise : my clients can connect to SUS, see the new updates and download them at LAN speed.
Why did it work before ?
I tried to reset Bandwidth limitation to 1024k/s to see if it makes any difference. Yes when it's set, SUS doesn't work.
So really painful to work with this, almost no options to fine tune the update server and it's better to let all to defaults to avoid problems it seems.

  • Firmware update not possible

I bought a 3G and as I connect to iTunes I got the message it is unable to update.
I think there is a customized firmware with the iPad baseband on the phone.
What can I do to go back to the original firmware?
There should be a way to go back to a virgin state from that customized firmware.
It is only that a downgrade is not possible. There should be a chance to clear the
    memory, or am I wrong?

If that's the case, you most likely will never be able to install a stock firmware on your phone...custom .ipsw files only.

  • 6680 firmware update not available?

    Hi,
I have a 6680 on O2. I'm seeing "No software update available" although I think there should be newer software.
My current firmware version from *#0000# is :
    v3.04.11 14-04-05
And on the Web there are many references to:
    v5.04.07 15-02-06 RM-36
    (what is the latest version?)
I often have problems with "memory full" errors, and yellow photos, so I would like to apply the update.
I also have issues with the SyncML client crashing, are there any fixes relevant to that?
    Other details:
    Nokia Software Updater version: 1.1.30en
7-digit model code (from label behind battery):

    Type: RM-36
    Thanks,

I couldn´t update my phone either with the OTA feature but when I tried it via NSU it worked perfectly.
    Download the NSU from here.
And connect your phone with USB and initiate the updating process!
Good luck and let us know how it went!
By clicking the "Kudos!" or the "Solution?" button on the right you can say "Thank You" and you´ll show the author and others that the post is useful.
