E75 mass messaging

hi i'm currently using an E75 in Singapore, with SMS 2.0 (by affle) installed. i cannot send mass smses - not even to TWO people. everytime i try to send to many people, only ONE message will get through, all the rest will end up "waiting" in outbox and never get sent. and i have to send them one by one.
help!

Hello,
I had the same exact problem when I first set up the service on my E75, but I was able to figure it out.  Once your SMS capabilities become reactivated on your Nokia Messaging account, perform the following steps to resolve your issue:
1. Log into your Nokia Messaging account on email.nokia.com.
2. Make sure your email addresses are still configured in there (if not, configure all of your email accounts at this time.)
3. Send the install SMS to your E75.
4. You will receive two SMSs, a "Welcome" one and one with a download/install link.
5. Disregard the download/install one, and select "Start" on the "Welcome" SMS.
6. Type in your Nokia Messaging password.
You should see all of your mailboxes now, and you should be good to go.

  • How to enhance DEBMDM06 to add custom segments and do mass message transf

    Hi Team,
I have a requirement to transfer multiple IDocs(Customers) as a single IDoc to PI (Earlier XI) system. As I know this could be done by doing necessary config in ALE and execute the transaction MDM_CLNT_EXTR(MDMC specific to customer master day) by creating a variant with proper Extraction Object details. This works perfect with only standard idoc type DEBMDM05/06.
    1. I have extended the IDoc type DEBMDM06 to ZEUDEBMDM06
    2. Created a new message type ZDEBMDM (using WE81)
    3. Assigned the message type to IDoc type(using WE82).
    4. Created a new extraction object ZCUSTOMER_EXTRCT from CUSTOMER_EXTRACT by executing
        program 'MDM_METADATA_MAINTAIN'.
    5. Maintained the view 'VMDMMETA' using SM30 to add custom segments and altered the positions according to new IDoc type.
    6. Found a user exit to fill custom segments.
    7. Executed the transaction MDMC, in the debug managed the hord coded extraction object from 'CUSTOMER_EXTRACT'
        to 'ZCUSTOMER_EXTRCT'.
This has generated a single IDOC for 2 customers but ulike one segment for one customer, it has addes somany segments at same level.
Can we enhance the mass message transfer concept so that we can use it for extended IDOC type so that I can have custom segment types added ?
    Thanks in advance...

    hi Caíque  ;
Firstly thanks for your answer. But your badi is at CRM side, I want to fill BDOC with custom fields from ECC to CRM when I changed them in IE02 of ECC.
Do you know there is any badi after BDOC is filled in ECC.

  • Group/mass messaging into individual thread

    hello
was wondering if there was a way to send group/mass text and then make the messages go to each contact's individual thread?
I also turned off group messaging because then everyone gets a response when one person replies, and not everyone likes that. i want a way to send a mass text w/o going to each individual's thread.
    thanks

IMessage is currently down and is acting up.
I suggest for now, you dont use group IMessage.
There is also a possibility that one of your devices your trying to talk to has a bug...
If IMessage doesnt work by Thursday, I would give Apple a call

  • E75 email: messages marked as unread

    Hi,
Yesterday I had to reset my Nokia E75. Now it's up and running again. However, after I re-installed my hotmail e-mail I have a problem:
    - 30 (old) e-mails are loaded and marked as unread
    - when I receive an e-mail and I read the e-mail on my laptop, the message stays 'unread' on my E75
    - the other way around, the same problem exists. If I check an e-mail on my phone, the e-mail stays unread. So if I check my e-mail on my laptop, it looks like my e-mail is still unread.
Anybody any clue how to change this?
Futher, I tried to change the synchronisation hours and synchronisation interval. But each time I change this, it won't stay. If I take another look 2 minutes later, the old settings are back.
    Thanks for your help!

Not sure what you mean. But I deleted my entire mailbox and tried to re-install. For some reason it seems to work now.
    Thanks for your reply anyway.

  • E75 & Nokia Messaging not working with Gmail prope...

    Hi there,
I'm having problems in getting my new E75 to function with Gmail (I'm using Gmail via IMAP, custom domain and Google Apps) and I'm, therefore, here in order to search some help from more tech-savvy users. The most annoying problem I'm having at the moment is that E75 creates duplicate messages in "sent mail" -folder in Gmail when sending mail from it. I would also be delighted if I could delete messages using my phone so that msges would be moved to Gmail's trash folder instead of "All Mail" -folde. Any advice in getting these functionalities? Thank You!
All in all, I would like to be able to configure E75 mail client to function like a "normal" IMAP client.

Maddmaxx is correct, check this article for more information: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=78755
A workaround to delete emails from Gmail is to go into Google Labs, enable Advanced IMAP Controls, go to Forwarding and POP/IMAP and switch When a message is expunged from the last visible IMAP folder: to either Move the message to the Trash or Immediately delete the message forever depending on your preference.
    We're working on this.

  • Excel Documents/ Mass Messaging

I'm looking into getting this new model for work, but I need to clarify a few things first.
    1. Is the Q10 capable of working on Excel/ worksheet documents?
    2. Can I perform actions such as copying an entire column of contact numbers and pasting them into the message recipient input?
    3. Is there a maximum number of contacts I can place in the message recipient input? I'd like to be able to send a message to about 100 at a time, or more.
    Solved!

Docs To Go is the app/program I need in the Q10 to work?
Yes, to work with Excel (and other MS Office) files, that is the necessary app, and it is available in BBWorld.
    anaheim3232 wrote:
What do you mean by an "email account configured and functional?"
An email account, configured on the device you want to run your test on, that is fully able to send/receive emails. To truly do your test, you must not only paste the recipients to a new email from your XLS, but also send. Oh...then again, if you meant SMS as your message delivery mechanism, then that would be required to be fully configured and already functional on the device you will test with.
    anaheim3232 wrote:
Once I have those two above, the test with the SD card/ XLS files can be done?
Based on what you have described, yes.
    anaheim3232 wrote:
I'll assume the Q10 I'll be trying out will be an activated BB10 device.
Hmmm...well, you definitely must run your test on such a device...however, whether or not such a device is available at the shop you go to is a completely different question, one which I cannot answer as I have no idea what the shop you go to will have available for you to do this.
    Good luck!

  • Mass messaging / broadcast requirement

    Hello -
I am a newbie to the Web Services and JMS world and I'd like to know what is the best approach to solve the following problem:
I'd like to broadcast instructions to potentially thousands of registered web service clients. These clients could be thought of as daemon-like programs residing on remote desktops. By browsing around on the internet, I've understood that this could be done using the "push-mode" (vs. the traditional pull-model that is involved in a typical request/response). Hence could JMS be used for pushing or broadcasting messages to a very large number of clients?
What is the best way to do this considering security, performance/reliability, integrity, etc?
Is JMS a suitable technology for this?
Could Web Services Messaging be employed for this instead?
Any pointers or the right direction will be appreciated. Thanks!

You need to liase with the station. There will be guides for ratings icon. Ask them to clarify the other requirements.

  • Phone and email contact list for mass-messaging

First of all, let me start out by saying I DO NOT HAVE AN IPHONE. I am looking up this answer on behalf of my boss, who I believe has an iPhone with the iOS7, I think.
She has some contacts in her phone where she only has phone numbers and some where she only has email address. She wants to create a list of these phone numbers and email so if she sends a message to that list, it will send to the phone numbers for those she has and the emails for those who she has.
Does this happen automatically? If not, is this possible? If it is possible, could someone please tell me how to do it? And be as specific as possible because I am not familiar with iPhones at all and she is not very tech savvy with hers.

Is there a way to only have iPhone or mobile 'types' show up there?
    No
I'd really like to NOT have the 'Home' phone numbers show up since they can't receive texts.
They can in some countries where the iPhone is sold.

  • IDocs or Enterprise Services in message exchange between systems

I am trying to get some qualitative and quantitative answers to the comparison of Enterprise Services or IDocs as a choice of interface technology when exchanging messages via PI with external systems.
The external systems are probably going to have their own message format, so this would concern the nature of the interfaces of the ERP system interfaces to the PI system.
I have seen one other posting in this forum related to this, but no definitive answer.
Does anybody have any system performance comparisons using the two technologies, such as message throughput / hour? Not easy to compare I know.
Does anybody have an opinion as to the suitability of Enterprise Services for such a task? Is the technology stable enough to be trusted yet?
When comparing status messages of IDocs, do the Enterprise Services have a similar way of easuly seeing the delivery status of the message using the Enterprise Service?
Would anybody or has anybody actually been brave enough to use Enterprise Services in this way yet?
Are Enterprise Services appropriate for mass messaging?
    All answers very much appreciated!
    Kind Regards,
    Tony.

    Hi Michal,
Thanks for the reply. I try to respond to your questions precisely:
if you want to compare IDocs to services then I assume
we're talking about async services right?
(and most services - just like bapis - are sync messages)
so you compare two different things
Yes, I know. What if the message scenario was asynchronous, and you chose not to handle the response message of the Enterprise Service? You could still do that, right? Then the problem becomes how do you trace the status of the Enterprise Service transaction.
IDocs have the advantage of a status message, and a good message monitoring system, but I am not sure if the visibility of errors seen with Enterprise Services if treated asynchronously would be as obvious. My knowledge of the runtime of the Enterprise Services is currently a bit limited.
The whole reason for me asking about the use of Enterprise Services is that there are so many now that could be used for message exchange, if they were suitable for the task.
Also, what about creating Asynchronous/Synchronous bridges in PI to handle the response message? Then the response is always traceable, correct? Even if the customer doesn't want the response message, the content could always be found in the PI message monitor.
Additionally, there is a transaction in ERP that wraps a BAPI into an IDoc (don't have a system in front of me at the moment and cannot recall the transaction, maybe OM69 or something similar). Now, that is taking a synchronous 'service' (the BAPI), and converting it into an asynchronous IDoc. So if this is such a bad idea, why do SAP provide the transaction? Therefore, by extension, wouldn't it be possible to do the same thing for Enterprise Services, at least from a philosophical point of view? I mean, why would SAP imply you could do this for one kind of synchronous service (the BAPIs) but not others (the Enterprise Services)?
if you're talking about migrations etc I don't believe services
will be used with LSMW but BAPIs are on the other hand
No, I was talking about high volume message scenarios, sorry for the ambiguity. I guess if the performance of Enterprise Services is comparible to that of well written BAPIs, the answer is 'yes', correct?
    Kind Regards,
    Tony.

  • Mass mapping

    Hi,
How to do the mass message mapping when both the source and the target structure remaining the same.
I tried selecting the root nodes of the source and the target message type but the options for doing the mass message mapping is disabled. Is it related to some user roles or authorizations, because I am able to do the same mapping with administrator login.
    Regards,
    Nithiyanandam

    Hi,
But iam bit strange you are able to see in admin login and you are not able to see in your login. But anyways check this.
choose Help->Information from the menu bar, there you find the Java Version which is used to the load your Integration Builder.
If the java version is higher than 1.4.x, then you have to use the correct version to load the Integration Builder.
A easy way (no need to uninstall any high version JREs) would be:
Start the Java Web Start of version 1.4.x and load your IB directly.
the Java Web Start is normally located at
    C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_12\javaws\javaws.exe

When I tried to eject iPod nano 4, the "usb mass message is uninstalled" message shows, bu the ipod nano 4 still existed in iTunes.
Then my Windows 7 system can not shut down successfully.
Can you fix this bug right now?

I'm having the same problem, including it not syncing my playlists. Also, I have the iBooks app installed and it won't sync my books?? I paid for those and thyey show up in my iTunes, just not on my touch.

  • Hiding group addresses in Mail

With Microsoft Entourage, you can create a group, fill it up with email contacts and then check a box that says "Don't show addresses when sending to a group."  As you might expect, this is handy when I want to send a mass message out to lots of people I know while at the same time respecting the privacy each member may have as far as sharing their email address with others.  I can't find this feature with Apple's Mail, if in fact it even exists.

Mail Preferences, Composing, Addressing, When sending to a group, show all member addresses.
    Or, just BCC everyone.

  • Cheap external mic for ipad2

Can anyone recommend a cheap external mic for a ipad2 - one that doesn't cut the speakers
    Cheers

I think you just answered the USB option question I've been researching.  We found the iRig mic is sketchy.  sounds good for spoken voice when they work.  We've been using them for a mass messaging campaign and they keep breaking (if they worked out of the box to start with).  We've yet to find anything better.  We need a mic with that street interview look that we can put a mic flag on.

  • External Mic for iPad 3

I recently purchased an audio technica ATR 6550 and Startech.com MUYHSMFF 3.5mm 4-pin to 2x 3-pin 3.5mm headset splutter adapter M/F for my iPad 3.
I've tested the mic and adapter on my Macbook and they worked fine.  When I plug them into my iPad however, it doesn't seem to read them.  I've tried a couple of different apps including garageband but the mic just doesn't register.  Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on how I might get this to work?
    Thanks
