E90 connection to Ford Galaxy

When we try to connect our E90 Communicators to the new Ford Galaxy company car, all the contacts are transferred and the phone comes up on the screen, but when we try to make or receive calls in doesn't come through the speakers. I have tried my old N95 handset and that works perfectly. Can somebody help? We have deleted the profiles and bluetooth settings. We have put all settings back to factory settings and yet still nothing happens. My N95 worked first time with no changes to settings.

Sorry, it doesn't help, just lets you know you're not mad. Shows that up to wk 36 2008 the E90 and my N96 worked ok, but on cars made after wk 36 2008 neither phones are fully functional and likely to drop out or fail to connect.
though the N95 works bothsides of that date, Weird.

I cannot connect S4 Mini with Ford Sync. I have deleted all devices from Ford. S4 mini locates multiple Bluetooth devices in the neighborhood but does not connect to Sync. 2013 F250 with standard radio. Worked fine with basic phones, but won't connect to S4 mini.
y luck with 2010 Nissan Murano is no better. Maybe if I can get guidance to connect to Ford I can use the information to connect to Nissan.

How can we connect our Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and 3 phones to our Mac?

We are unable to connect our Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and 3 to our Mac. When we tried to install Kies per the message on our phones, we got this message -"You can’t open the application “Kies3Setup.exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X." Android File Transfer doesn't recognize the phones either. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Right. An .exe file won't run on OS X.
Does Samsung have a version of their utility for OS X? Download that version (though I seem to recall some crashes mentioned here by others who had it installed).

Ipad 2 wifi connection with Samsung Galaxy Y phone.

Hi All,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 model phone. I'm planning to have 3G internet through vodafone in my phone. Is it possible to connect internet from my samsung phone to ipad 2(without micro-sim) by enabiling hot spot feature in my samsung phone?
Please suggest. If not possible, any work around would be of great help. Thanks

Not working correctly, not connecting to ford sync since 3.1.2

I have a first gen ipod touch and ever since I downloaded 3.1.2, i get a messed up screen sometimes while playing music and my ipod will not connect to my sync in my edge anymore. any tips?

Apparently this is a problem with the iPhone 3.1 OS not working with Ford Sync. I have a Ford Fusion and I have had problems ever since updating my iPhone to 3.0.
From Ford:
If your device has been updated to Apple firmware version 3.1 (or greater), then you will experience an INDEXING concern which may limit functionality of the device with SYNC, including longer indexing times (e.g., 30 minutes). Note: Earlier versions of the iPhone firmware are not affected. The Ford SYNC Team is aware and has been in communication with the Apple team regarding the concern. We will post an updated response once more information is known. We appreciate your patience and would like to offer the following recommendations for continued usage of SYNC and your device:
-Use the AutoPlay feature. SYNC will still playback content on the device that is on the "Now Playing" list of the device. Media control will be limited to the Play, Pause, Next and Previous Track.
-If the device supports Bluetooth Audio, connect to the device with SYNC BT Audio/Media Stream. Media control will be limited to Play, Pause, but can also be controlled directly on the device.
-Use the Line In input to connect to the device headphone audio jack. The media will need to be controlled on the device directly.
-Transfer unprotected contents to a USB flash drive. SYNC supports playback with full media control of iTunes formatted unprotected media.
-Allow some additional time for the device to index.

Your Deskjet 2540 is supported to work with the 'HP All-in-One Printer Remote' app. First you would need to get the printer installed wirelessly on your home router, or using Wireless Direct. Step one of this document shows you how to enable Wireless Direct if you wish to just communicate directly to the printer from your Tablet: Printing from an Apple or Android Mobile Device with HP Wireless Direct
Once your printer is available Wirelessly, you can install the 'HP All-in-One Printer Remote' app. After it is installed, you can tell your tablet to connect to the same network that the printer is on. If you are on your home router, make sure the tablet connects to the 2.4ghz network, as the printer cannot connect to the 5.0ghz network.

E90 connection not availabe

Suddenly while i was surfing online with my nokia e90, the phone restarted and formated my memory card.
I barely convincing myself to pass that but the problem is that after what happened the mobile doesn't want to log to net using the sim whatever the type of service provider and showing " connection not available "
any possible solution ?

Problem Connecting with Ford Figo

I have the same bluetooth problem in my FORD FIGO, its getting connect and disconnected autocratically, after upgraded to iOS8 the prob. was rectified. Te same has started again and the recent iOS is iOS8.1.1

Adobe Lightroom starts as soon as E90 connects

Hello!
I am connecting a E90 via bluetooth to a vista ultimate t61p Lenovo laptop. Whenever the phone connects to the PC, Adobe Lightroom launches ... which is pretty annoying.
I have tried to reset all autorun actions in the windows standard device settings - without success. I have also searched the registry for "lightroom.exe" to see if there is any connection with nokia, or the phonename or bluetooth.
both without success unfortunately.
Any other tricks I could try? Not sure if it's a windows problem, a lightroom problem or a pc suite problem anyway...

Delete the picture it is trying to open, it's corrupt. I had this happen about 1.2 or 1.3.
Delete from your hard drive, then relaunch LR and open your catalogue. I simply overwrote the whole folder with my backup files.

P.S. I just reread your post. How full are those partitions? If LR is trying to write to a disk that is too full a file can become corrupted. Also look at how fragmented the drives are.Partitions that size are not very optimal for photo editing nor is having three on one drive. I would suggest you invest in another drive and move all your photo files to the new drive and possibly store the LR catalogue there as well.

I would suggest that you check if the vehicule has the latest Bluetooth software available installed, you may need to contact you car dealer

No. You can't. That's not a feature of the iPhone. Never has been. It does not support bluetooth file transfer.

C7 does not connect with the Ford carphone system ; the Ford user manual says that I have to install a "sis file" ; can someone tell me where I can find this file ?

As I answered your identical original post unfortunately FORD do not appear to be up to speed that your C7 runs newer OS Symbian^3 and reference to .sis file appertains to much older S60 3rd FP1 devices.
Whilst your C7 is well endowed with various Bluetooth profiles, the fact that this a Bluetooth 3 device although supposedly backwards compatible, may mean issues with older protocol of your Ford carphone system.

I happened to find the cause, I believe myself.
I experienced repeating error 'Cannot Authorize Phone', giving Failed in an unknown error: 0x'8007048F'.
So here is what I found.
I decided to :
Uninstall PC Nokia Suite, by using the PC Suite Cleanup tool
Unpaired my E52 Phone
Cold Started my Nokia E52 Phone, having the battery reinserted
Installed PC Nokia Suite (currently 7.1.60.0)
I observed a short message on phone stating ' Not enough space on C:' which I tried to resolve. But I could not free more than 0.3 MB
I Paired and Authorization went well !
And the rest of PC Nokia setup for sync went straight, and it worked !
So the question I have, staying in my head, is:
Why is the C-drive on my Nokia E52 taking up this space...
According to FileManager on E52, says 8.5MB is free (does not tell how much there is in total)
According to Nokia Phone Browser (from PC), the folders on C: (my phone) makes up 35 files with 1.2 MB of space
Nokia Phone Browser (from PC) says on properties on C: (my phone): Total Size 59.05 MB Free Space: 5.83 MB
and as you can see, somewhat inconsistent reporting of space usage. Clearly, there's hidden files (the OS Boot image for Symbian I guess) but why is the OS clobbering up space, giving problems for BlueTooth sesssions ? Could it be pagefiles and memory leaks ?
Well, now my immediate problem was solved, until further...

Which car kit is pre-installed in your Ford? Sometimes wireless spec / implementation for a built-in kit originally used by a vehicle manufacturer just gets out of step unfortunately compared to a phone's.
Set Remote SIM to 'on' and then try pairing with four zeros 0000 code.
Have you got many other devices set up already? There will be a max number of devices... 5, or 8? So could try removing some old / no longer needed phones from the car kit and retry.
When you enter your phone's name, keep itshort, the field length on car kit side may be very limited characters.

Help! Does anyone know how to fix this and still use the Bluetooth? If i turn off the Bluetooth, USB playwork works fine but I need both to work.

Not quite the same problem but my speaker dock no longer charges iPad1 and iPhone4 since upgrading to iOS5.1 but was playing and charging only the day before, extremely annoying as I have only had the dock about 3 weeks now.
I haven't tried my iPad3 yet, but will assume that it will do the same
