E90 Greek Language Characters

Have bought my E90 from Switzerland as in Greece as waiting after an order for more than 4 months.....?????!!!!!!!
The problem is that it was set without Greek language .... How can I update to include my language as well.
Thx

I think you have to take it to nokia care point and they will install the language for you.

  • Need Greek language on oracle report

    Hi,
    I digged up a lot of stuff on how to get a report to be displayed in diffrent languages.
    I tried a lot of stuff, change font setting to Greek in Oracle Report Builder , still this doesn't show greek characters ,
    for example,
    έγγραφο μεταφοράς
    (Ths english equivalent for the above text is 'transfer document')
    This field is read from a DB.
    In the DB we are able to store it in the greek language itself,
    έγγραφο μεταφοράς
    So, now when I run the report, on the paper layout which is generated,
    i get this ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ instead of the έγγραφο μεταφοράς
    Any one can help me out.. with this..
    if you could point to some link where there are steps , I can follow the same..
    Thanks..

    An additional quote string ' character with the number field will solve this problem but if u want to display this field in report then it will look ugly
    '''||yourfield from table; check ur regional settings also
    plz mark it helpful correct if it is

  • Greek Language Support for Zen To

    The majority of my music collection is Greek songs and it'ss a real shame that Creative does NOT have language support for Greek. I tried entering a song in Greek letters since I have dual language support on my Windows XP. When I look at the Media Source Transferring program, the file name seems to be recognized and doesn?t seem as if there is a problem. However when I view the song title on my Creative Zen Touch (V 2..0 Plays for Sure) the characters are stretched out funny and doesn?t read accent marks similar to how I posted the example bellow.
    A l l I [] s m e a f [ ] s e s ( These [ ] are due to accent marks I guess not being recognized Also pretend this is in Greek letters since this board won?t let me post it in Greek?)
    Is there any way around this? It doesn?t seem like such a hard thing for the Creative people to fix?
    The sad thing is that Apple actually has Greek language support and to me this is a huge importance to me. I don?t like writing my Greek song titles in Latin characters, it just seems silly.
    Message Edited by Colorfinger on 06-06-2006 :29 PM

    Hi Colorfinger,
    I also own a Zen Touch and have exactly the same problem you have detailed below with the majority of the music I have loaded to the player as it is in greek and the player doesn't support it. I also have the majority of my music library in greek characters in Windows XP due to the cataloguing issues which arise if the track information is left in latin characters.
    When I contacted Creative last year in regards to this they advised me they did not have greek language support for their players and had no plans on offering it in the future either. This of course makes the music library on the Zen Touch an absolute joke, irrespecti've of whether the track information has been loaded onto the player with greek or latin characters. If it has been loaded with latin characters you have the same artist appearing in various areas of the library due to the non standardised spelling of greek words in english. They are either typed phonetically, in greeklish or best guess english. If the track information is in greek, well we have the problem you have outlined in regards to the stress mark not being recognised, the spacing and the alphabetization of the library being a joke when the first letter ot either the artist/album/song is preceded by a stress mark.
    I have to admit to being very disappointed as the main reason I purchased a Creative Zen touch is because I had been advised it had multiple language support and I did want to load all my music to the player with greek characters.
    To anyone else out there with the same problem, make yourselves known and start asking for firmware updates to include greek language support, especially for people buying Creative's players in Greece.Message Edited by Tomaraki on 09-30-2006 06:00 PM

  • Greek language on E71?

    Hi, can anyone help me on finding the proper software for installing the Greek language on my E71 phone?
    Thanks

    what do you mean prosektikos? the person asked  a legit question but the person that provided the answer did not exactly understand the question. this is not about the system o.s. but rather entering greek characters in text (i.e. phone book entries and texting) that would require just a few more bytes of code. greek characters are in extended ascii... the sisu people have to listen and provide product we want -  we are their revenue (boss).

  • Typing in Greek language using a USB keyboard conn...

    I want to type text in Greek language when using a keyboard connected via usb with my nokia 701, but it only types with latin characters... Is there a way (a key shortcut maybe) to change language?

    Hello envpanos,
    Thank you for posting on Nokia Support Discussion.
    USB OTG ( USB On The Go ) for the device is only for accessing your files from your flash drive. Using any other USB peripheral  devices is not fully supported by the said feature.

  • Reading a text file with foreign language characters

    I'm trying to convert foreign language characters to English looking characters.  I have code that works, but only if I hard code the string with foreign language characters and pass it to the function. I cannot figure out how to get my program to read
    in the foreign characters from my file, they come in as garbage.
    Since the function works when I pass a hard coded string to it, I'm pretty sure the problem is the way I have the Streamreader set up, it's just not reading the characters correctly...
    Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
    Dim FileRdr As StreamReader = New StreamReader "m:\test\charReplace.txt", System.Text.Encoding.UTF7)
    Dim ReplaceWrtr As StreamWriter ReplaceWrtr = System.IO.File.CreateText("M:\test\CharReplaceOut.txt")
    Do While FileRdr.Peek() >= 0
    Dim currentRec As String = FileRdr.ReadLine
    removeAccent(currentRec)
    ReplaceWrtr.WriteLine(currentRec)
    Loop
    ReplaceWrtr.Close()
    End Sub
    'Replace foreign language characters with English characters
    Function removeAccent(ByVal myString As String)
    Dim A As String = "--"
    Dim B As String = "--"
    Const AccChars As String = "ŠŽšžŸÀÁÂÃÄÅÇÈÉÊËÌÍÎÏÐÑÒÓÔÕÖÙÚÛÜÝàáâãäåçèéêëìíîïðñòóôõöùúûüýÿ"
    Const RegChars As String = "SZszYAAAAAACEEEEIIIIDNOOOOOUUUUYaaaaaaceeeeiiiidnooooouuuuyy"
    For i As Integer = 1 To Len(AccChars)
    A = Mid(AccChars, i, 1)
    B = Mid(RegChars, i, 1)
    myString = Replace(myString, A, B)
    Next
    removeAccent = myString
    End Function
    I know that removing the accent changes the meaning of the word, but this is what the user wants so it's what I need to do.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!! :)
    Thanks!
    Joni

    Finally got it to work.  I had to remove the first 5 characters from the replacement string (ŠŽšžŸ), couldn't find encoding that would handle these, and to be honest, I didn't really need them.  The important ones are still there, was probably
    just overkill on my part.
    UTF7 worked for the rest...
    Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
    Dim FileRdr As StreamReader = New StreamReader("m:\test\charReplace.txt", System.Text.Encoding.UTF7)
    Dim ReplaceWrtr As StreamWriter
    ReplaceWrtr = System.IO.File.CreateText("M:\test\CharReplaceOut.txt")
    Do While FileRdr.Peek() >= 0
    Dim currentRec As String = FileRdr.ReadLine
    removeAccent(currentRec)
    ReplaceWrtr.WriteLine(currentRec)
    Loop
    ReplaceWrtr.Close()
    End Sub
    'Replace foreign language characters with english characters
    Function removeAccent(ByRef myString As String)
    Dim A As String = "--"
    Dim B As String = "--"
    Const AccChars As String = "ÀÁÂÃÄÅÇÈÉÊËÌÍÎÏÐÑÒÓÔÕÖÙÚÛÜÝàáâãäåçèéêëìíîïðñòóôõöùúûüýÿ"
    Const RegChars As String = "AAAAAACEEEEIIIIDNOOOOOUUUUYaaaaaaceeeeiiiidnooooouuuuyy"
    For i As Integer = 1 To Len(AccChars)
    A = Mid(AccChars, i, 1)
    B = Mid(RegChars, i, 1)
    myString = Replace(myString, A, B)
    Next
    removeAccent = myString
    End Function
    Thanks for all your help!  Greatly appreciated :)

  • FDM - Errors with Foreign Language Characters in Load Files

    For our Netherlands data import file, our source account decriptions contain the character "ë". The account decription is not loaded to HFM, but we are receiving error messages when importing. Is there a way to ignore foreign language characters? Another post suggested "Administration", "Configuation Settings", "File Encoding Type" then set to "Unicode", but the version I am using does not have this option. Version is 11.1.1.3.
    Thank you!
    Melody

    Hello Melody,
    If you are using FDM v11.1.1.3.00 the file-encoding is defaulted to Unicode. It might be helpful to contact support.
    It could be your DB isn't setup to handle unicode characters (in this event the information would be stored in the SQL*Loader or MSSQL Logs). It could also be the file you are trying to import actually isn't "unicode" but more of a local ANSI/ASCII format.
    Most 'European' characters were supported in that release; and I know several clients that use it as expected.
    Thank you,

  • Junk symbols for asian language characters in PO PDF

    Hi,
    We have a custom program to generate the PO output and I have changed it to send the PO output to multiple emails/users using the steps given in the below link.
    The issue I'm facing is that when the PDF is generated and emailed,if I open the PDF in the email,for asian language characters in the PO data,I see wierd symbols.
    Has anyone faced this issue?
    This is happening for even the standard PO output/email which is sent out which indicates that this is something with the WINDOWS/ADOBE settings .
    Any pointers will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hello,
    You have to make sure that the spool was created by the correct device type which does support
    the language, you can change to the cascading device type SWINCF in SPAD, all unicode characters
    can be handled by this device type, note 812821.
    Secondly, goto SCOT-> Settings-> Device Types for Format Converstion, here you must set the
    correct device type too, you can change the device type to also SWINCF here for the used form language.
    Best regards,
    Wen Peng

  • [Solved] Greek accented characters and Qt Applications

    Hello.
    This is my first day with Arch linux.
    My problem has to do with greek accented characters like ά, ή, ό etc.
    I can type these characters on my browsers, rox file manager and other applications but not on Qt based applications like Skype and TeXmaker.
    At first when I tried to type ά on skype I got nothing.
    Later I installed ibus-qt and now I get á instead of ά, é instead of έ, etc.
