E90 Nokia Sofware Updater does not recognize the n...

I am trying to upgrade firmware from 7.24.03 to 7.4.12. When I use the Nokia Software Update to update the software it detects the software version on my phone as 7.24.03 and the latest software version available as 7.24.03 but the nokia website states that the latest software update 7.40.12 is now available for update.
Does anyone knows why this is happening?

Something strange is happening..
Two weeks ago I checked with my SW updater..
It said..New Revsion available..Do you want to install?
...I knew from other BBs that this would take at least half an hour and that it meant sitting and watching/helping the process/steps.
I decided to wait until I had a free hour...
Yesterday I did...
Now the same SW updater say..."you have the current version"..
This is V07.24.03 dd 12 07.2007.??
Either Nokia server has a bug..or Nokia have decided to put a hold on 7.40.12 ..Reason could be that there is a Newer new version soon available.

Nokia Software Updater does not recognize 6110 Nav...

Hi,
I've been trying all day to update the Firmware on my 6110 Navigator. I've checked on the website and Nokia is listing a new Firmware version available.
The problem is that when I run Software Updater I keep getting the message "Phone is not supported - Connected phone is not recognised".
I've run PC Suite cleaner and other packages to clean my registry and have installed PC Suite v6.86.9.3 and Software Updater v1.4.36en. Although all the other PC Suite functions are working fine I cannot get the Software updater to run.
Although there's a couple of posts with the same problem I cannot find a solution on any of them.
Anyone with any clue PLEASE HELP.

Hey friends.. i have nokia N95 8GB device and my pc has windows 7 with 7 and fully updated version. I was getting the same message and them iuninstalled the driver and pc suite. after words the driver again showed a yellow dot and my divice was not communicating with pc.

I plugged my iphone in to do an update and it was mid way through the update when the phone was accidentally disconnected. There is only one fix now. The message on the screen means that you have to restore the iOS software on the iPad now. Read the part at the very end about using recovery mode.

Ovi Suite/PC Suite does not recognize the connecte...

Error message: "Ovi Suite/PC Suite does not recognize the connected phone.Ovi Suite/Pc Suite cannot read the required information from the phone.Check that the connected phone is supported by Ovi Suite/PC Suite".
You can try this which can solve your problem.
1. Disconnect your phone from PC if connected.
2 .Open Control Panel and go to ‘Programs and Features’
3. From the list of available programs, choose ‘Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver’
4. Click on the ‘Change’ button on top toolbar.
5. In the setup dialog box that pops up next, choose ‘Repair’ and select ok. Wait for setup to complete.
6. Restart the computer if prompted.
7. Now connect your phone to the PC. Driver installation should complete and PC/Ovi suite (hopefully) should detect your mobile properly now.

Welcome to the forum! You should use Nokia Suite to update your device to Belle. If still the same, please go to control panel > printer and devices > right click the phone icon > remove the device. Then try to connet again. Also try all the steps provided by magovoru. Could you also report the issue here if connection still does not work.
