EA 6200 & other EA series connectivity to "smart" TV

There is a known issues about the connectivity with my "smart" TV (ie: LG LM 8600) which is already known and discussed in other forum (http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1958013).
My issues is that my TV could only connected to my old linksys E1200 ethernet wired connection without any problem. However, when I upgrade to EA 6200 few months ago, I have tried both gigabit wired and wireless (2.4 & 5) connection and they all disconnect after a period of time. I have complained this matter to LG but they never response as usual.
I know the culprit is the TV. But is there anyway to set the wired connection to 100mb ehternet instead of gigabit just like my E1200 with DD-WRT where they could set the limitation of each Lan port?
Besides, in considering sustainable environment, could Linksys has the options of scheduled power on and off in the next firmware?

Ya, theres a recent post about a Samsung TV however thats a WiFi adapter issue on the TV. We presume that if other devices on the router connect and work well that this pariticular TV is the problem. There isn't a LAN port speed setting and most ruoters are always automatic in this regard and lays this feature ability at the foot of the client side HW if Mfrs choose to support this feature. The only other way to test your TV out on the LAN and stepping down from GB to 100Mb is to install a external 100Mb network LAN switch then test. Another option might be to install a 100Mb LAN supporting wireless bridge on the TV then you could connect the bridge to the routers WiFi.

  • Connect a smart Card

    After connecting my computer to Microsoft for updates it has locked me out of administrative access. When wanting to install a software it keeps on saying connect a smart card. I have tried to go on start-Run -and typed gpedit.msc and it says access denied
    you do not have permission to perform this operation Group policy error. Please help on how l can resolve this problem. I cant even do any other setting changes on my machine. I am using windows 8.1 pro wit media center on an asus 64bit.

    Have you any other Administrator account?
    If yes, please log on with that account to disable the Smart Card Logon.
    Start --> Run --> type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
    Navigate to:
    Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Smart Card
    Right-click Turn on Smart Card Plug and Play service and click Edit to disable.
    If no, please logon with the built-in administrator to do that if it's enabled.
    Otherwise, there is no any other method except reinstallation.

  • Unable to connect Logitech Smart radio to Home Hub...

    I am trying to connect my Logitech smart radio via wireless to my homehub 3.
    It has connected successfully in the past but is now failing to connect with the comment "unable to connect using password nnn"
    nnn = my wirless key.
    I have reset the radio to the factory defaults, powered off and on the hub all to no avail.
    Other devices can connect via wireless using this key.
    Any help would be apprecaited

  • Series link and Smart Series

    Until Sky stop prefixing programmes with the moniker NEW:, series link and Smart Series will not work because the planner thinks they are another programme.  E.g. last night UNDER THE DOME restarted, and was set in my Smart series.  Unsurprisingly, it did not record as the programme was called NEW: UNDER THE DOME.,...... Not technical, you can keep on rebuilding your planners all day, but the solution is obvious, except to Sky, no surprise there......

    The 'new' issue (which was fixed I think in R010) never stopped programs recordings, it just mixed up the stacks if you had episodes both with 'New' and without. This has been fixed in the majority of cases.
    Your issue appears to be entirely different. Did the next episode (ie last night's Falling Skies) appear in the Scheduled Tab at all and fail to record or didn't it put it in after last week's episode?
    is correct in that it is up to the channels themselves what constitutes a series. For example, it is the BBC who has decided that the new Top Gear specials being shown are not part of the aborted series, so Sky boxes won't have picked them up automatically.

    Hi TV Tuner users! I need some help.
    I've been searching on this forum and all over the web for a solution. I hope some of you guys might have a solution.
    I have a TV @ anywhere Plus and run Windows 7. The card has previously worked but for the past few months it has malfunctioned.
    When I start the TV @ anywhere recording software I get following errors:
    "Cannot connect to Smart Tee input pin..."
    "Cannot render audio renderer (5001)..."
    "Cannot init Direct show interface... (1001)"
    I have not made any major adjustments to the computers drivers or hardware. I've reinstalled and installed, and reinstalled different versions of the driver and software. I've even switched PCI port.
    So I'm a bit confused. Anyone having an idea for a solution?
    This guy (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=124889.0) even formatted his harddrive. It's an old post, but maybe you've figured out something since that post?

Basically, my iPhone will connect to my home WiFi sometimes, but it randomly loses connection and won't connect for hours upon hours. I have tried turning it on and off multiple times as well as resetting the network settings. I know that it is not my network's problem because a member of my family has an iPhone 5S, and it works fine with the WiFi, along with all of my other devices. This issue is getting very annoying as I don't like to use my cellular data at home since it is limited. Please help me!!

    One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem. A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
    Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
    Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
    Power up
    Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
    If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

    If you follow this video you'll see how to delete your WiFi AP from the OS, this will allow you to select it again which I feel will correct your problem.

    If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
    First, test your iPad on some other WiFi networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes &amp; Noble, etc.
    If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
    If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
    If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.
