Does the Apple Composite AV Cable work with Sky Sports TV App?

I have 'The new iPad' and was wondering if I bought the Apple cable that links your iPad to your television if it would be able to stream content from the Sky Sports TV app? The content is similar to that of ITV Player BBC iPlayer apps ect

Apparently the answer is no? I guess for me this is the #1 reason to not buy an iPhone 5. I switched to the iPhone specifically for the component (RCA) cable with charging capabilities for my car audio / nav needs. Android did not have a good solution and Apple did. I am sure there are a hand full of folks who bought the Pioneer App radio who are stuck as well. Apple needs to make an airplay to component adapter or a cable for the iPhone 5. Newsflash I am not switching my head unit out for a new phone. Don’t get me wrong I love air play and own an apple TV but hotel rooms, cars, boats and points of usage not going to have air play in all instances. Even if a cable comes out the “digital” port seems telling that component is going away. Time will tell.

Hi All, I'm in Australia and would like to know if there is a Sports Illustrated app available for the Ipad or a way to get the issues digitally on the Ipad. There's an app for the IPhone but I can't seem to find one for the ipad which is strange.

I can guess what your thinking, but I've never had a US account. I subscribed from my account in January of this year. From browsing the web, it seems this was an issue for UK customers last week as well, but the update is now available in UK iTunes, but still not in the Irish store.

Zinio/Sporting News app issues......

After installing 3.2.2 today, my Zinio app and Sporting News app have stopped working. After trying to start the apps, the following pop up appears => "this screen requires an Internet connection". Every other app works flawlessly using the internet including Safari. I've tried everything from sync to reinstalling the apps. Nothing seems to work. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

From your iPad, simply open up the "App Store" and select the "Purchased" tab, which is the second icon from the right on the bottom within the App Store. There will be a list of all of the apps you have downloaded. Navigate throughout this list until you find the app.

Cost of Bt sport using app.

So to your scenario - You don't have BT broadband and you don't appear to have a TV service that the BT Sport Pack is available on.

A week ago ive purchased a subscription for sky sport tv Apple for iPhone. Ive been charged 4.99£ and under my subscription i can see it is active. But after a week time still I can get access to watch any program's on that app. What is wrong???

BT Sport - Sony app?

I don't suppose there's much chance of BT Sport being available on my Sony Bravia TV is there?
i.e. in the same way that the BBC iPlayer is when connected to the net.

Nope No chance as BT don't like Sony for some reason as not 1 Sony device is on their list of supported devices for the app
sky twitter account a customer ask why sky go streams are worst then sd and yet bt and eurosports apps stream in hd. Reply from mod, oh thats easy the files for hd are some huge that sky go can't play them and no app can stream hd due to this and so when they say they are they're really sd streams, if there was any way around this we would have done it now.

Cannot update Sports Illustrated app in Ireland

I subscribe to Sports Illustrated via iTunes with Newsstand. SI/Time have released an update to the app but it is not available in the Irish store, meaning I cannot access any new editions. Has anyone else had this problem and how can I fix it?
I contacted SI and they passed me back to Apple.

Can't log in to BT Sports Android app

We recently upgraded to Infinity 1 and included in the deal was BT Sports channels. I have been trying since to log in to the Android app and I keep getting error I D00 and can't log in.

Sky Sports Cricket app

Why do Sky still dish out second rate service to Android devices? The Ashes have started and you've got a nice fancy second screen app for the iPad but with Android we're still stuck with a app that shows the old kit, doesn't allow you to get notifications for specific games and the stats are as basic as they get whilst Apple customers get the wagon wheel etc.
Why do I get a worse experience than someone else whith a different mobile device whilst I'll probably be paying the same as them?

I don't think you are quite correct there because while it doesn't do live streaming it should play videos as mentioned here
If you have uninstalled it, rebooted your iphone and installed it again and it still doesn't work there is an email address that you can contact Sky on on this page

Sports Illustrated Magazine App

The Sports Illustrated app displayed a notification indicator that I had a new magazine available. Once I downloaded the issue the indicator will not go away. How do I clear the indicator?

It's a bug in the App itself. I have the same issue since their latest app update. I think we wait for another update to fix this.
