EA Version 4.0 - plsql_debug = TRUE

The actual version sets the session parameter PLSQL_DEBUG to TRUE.
All normal (without debug) compiled plsql objects were compiled with debug!!!
aaaarg!
an additional test:
i closed all connections and opened them again and the wrong icons are still present.
a query on the plsql settings views does not show any plsql object wiht debug.

I don't understand: how a version can set any parameter, it is just a number?

  • Cannot open my library. iPhoto says I opened it before with a newer version which is not true.

    Cannot open my library. iPhoto says I opened it before with a newer version which is not true. I am using Snow Leopard and iPhoto 7.1.5 which seems to be the latest update. How can I reach my photos? I don't particually care for iPhoto anymore since I am using Lightroom now, but I would very much like to reach my picture files, HELP

    Try these in order - from best option on down...
    1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
    2. Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
    This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
    3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
    To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
    Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
    In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
    Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
    Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
    Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
    When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
    In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

    I have a client who has the latest pages. They are telling me that they can't create a compatible file for earlier versions ('9). I have not upgraded to mavrickes and cannot downlosd the latest version of pages. Is this true...the latest isn't compatable with earlier versions?

  • I cannot override my previous version of Firefox with v4.0. When I try to drag it into applications, I get a message that there is a newer version already there (not true).

    I have been following the download instructions. But I never get a prompt to place the file into the Applications folder. So I open the file, drag it to Applications, and get a message that I already have a newer file in Applications. However, this is not true. When I drag the file to the Firefox icon, I am told that can't be done because Firefox is already open.
    I have done several other updates, never had this problem before. I have a MacBook.

    Beginning with Firefox 4, Macs must have an Intel x86 processor; your system is a PPC Mac.

    The good news is that Firefox 3.6.24 still supports the PPC Mac architecture. The bad news is that support for the Firefox 3.6.x series is likely to end in the first quarter of 2012.

  • How can I get firefox to quit autmatically trying to upload updates which it won't accept b/c another version is running (not true); how do I uninstalll ( it won't let me)? how do I download fresh version (whichit also won't do b/c is "corrupted")

    Firefox was running just fine on Windows 7 until automatic updates went into action last week. Updates fail, when I close that notice, updates try again automatically--ad nauseam. Re-booting computer does not help. Am also unable to uninstall Firefox and unable to just download fresh version. When I save it and then "run" it, says file is corrupt.

  • Version 23 very broken.

    locking as a duplicate of this - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/968545''
    Between last night and tonight, suddenly I can't load any pages unless I flip back and forth between I.E Tabs. Only difference: Firefox did a bloody update. Why is it that nowadays when a program updates, it always ends up being glitchy or fails entirely. Aren't updates supposed to IMPROVE the program, not break what was already working?
    This problem happens on Facebook, twitter, Goodreads, Google, this page... everything. What is the use of having a browser that doesn't work. Come on Mozilla. Please let me roll back to 22. At least that worked. Sorry for the grump here, but I've truly had enough of programs self-"updating" into a version that is crap. With all that programmers have learnt over years of computing, this should not happen any more. If you're going to put out an "update", at least make sure it works fully first. We're not your lab rats for testing.
    I've already restarted twice, and once more in safe mode, so please no one give me all the basic advice. Just someone tell the blokes at Mozilla that their update is broken, and they need to patch it. Meanwhile, I'll just run my business loading pages twice in two different browser tabs... or, after more than six years and twenty different version numbers, I might just drop Firefox altogether.
    And you know what, till I stuffed around for almost twenty minutes, I couldn't even add my Troubleshooting info from the button below. Guess why? That's broken too. As is the button to enter this form, which took me another half hour. Please fix this.

    We consolidated the search engine preferences due to malicious add-ons abusing the search engines in Firefox to raise revenue for themselves by hijacking users and making it difficult to restore the search engine defaults. You have a few work arounds for the issue, the easiest of which will be to install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/keyword-search/

  • How do i programmatically get the current version of a file?

    I asked this same question in the SP2013 forum and I haven't been able to determine the solution. So I posting this here, to maybe get more eyes on this issue.
    ...I am basically trying to programmatically get the current version of a document in a library, then determine if its a major or minor version, in code. I have tried doing this, to get the current version but I keep getting an empty string returned.
    var versions = item.File.Versions;
    string currentVersion = string.Empty;
    foreach (SPListItemVersion version in item.Versions)
    DateTime lastMod = version.Created;
    foreach (SPFileVersion fileVersion in versions)
    if (fileVersion.IsCurrentVersion == true)
    currentVersion = fileVersion.ToString();
    Does anyone know what am doing wrong, and how to get this resolved? I really appreciate the help. Thanks

    Why not just get the SPListItem and look at it's Version property? That'll be the latest version.
    No need to go into the Versions collection etc. When you get a list item you get the current version as standard.

    I can't afford to remove the version attribute as it is required for auto-update. Has anyone ever tried faced such problem.? Please help me. Any help is highly appreciated.Thanks in advance.

    It's just as told.
    If you're using explicit versions, the server response MUST provide an header to tell which version is returned (you could be using 'wildcards' like 1+).
    How are you serving requests? Are you using JnlpDownloadServlet? If so, check docs: extra work is required in order to use version features.
    If using your own service google for header (and parameter) name, use exact versions and copy to the response the value you're retrieving from the request.
    Bye.

  • Bug in FB 4.7 when setting verbose-stacktraces to True

    Hello guys,
    When setting the verbose-stacktraces to true without setting the debug parameter to true, it has no effect. When I get a stacktrace it doesn't include any line numbers as stated on the documentation. I'm currently using Flash Builder 4.7, Adobe Flex 4.6 and Air 4 SDK to develop my mobile application. Also, I'm using the compiler options: -locale en_US -swf-version=23 -verbose-stacktraces=true.
    I need to be able to see the line numbers so I would really appreciate any help on this issue.
    Regards,
    Sebastian

    I also tried with replacing -verbose-stacktraces=true with -compiler.verbose-stacktraces=true as I've seen in some examples but nothing happens.
    Next you have an example of a stacktrace missing the line numbers:

  • Deprecated parameter PLSQL_DEBUG

    I am compliling a procedure using 11g. I get two warnings:
    Warning(1): PLW-06013: deprecated parameter PLSQL_DEBUG forces PLSQL_OPTIMIZE_LEVEL <= 1
    Warning(1): PLW-06015: parameter PLSQL_DEBUG is deprecated; use PLSQL_OPTIMIZE_LEVER = 1
    What does this mean? Should I do as suggested or should I look for something wrong with my code?

    I had a quick play with this but couldn't reproduce it in 11.2.0.1.
    SQL> alter session set plsql_warnings='enable:all';
    SQL> alter package testit compile plsql_debug=true;
    SP2-0809: Package altered with compilation warnings
    SQL> show errors package testit;
    Errors for PACKAGE TESTIT:

    0/0        PLW-06015: parameter PLSQL_DEBUG is deprecated; use PLSQL_OPTIMIZE_LEVEL = 1So far so good. But then the issue goes away when I recompile.
    SQL> alter package testit compile;
    Package altered.
    SQL> show errors package testit;
    No errors.I tried setting PLSQL_DBUG at the session level, but still no warnings:
    SQL> alter session set plsql_ccflags = 'PLSQL_DEBUG:TRUE';
    Session altered.
    SQL> alter package testit compile;
    Package altered.
    SQL> show errors package testit;
    No errors.Wondering what I'm missing - perhaps some session or package-level setting that retains the compilation parameter?
    Anything odd in user_plsql_object_settings for the package?

    To use the version based download protocol your resources on the server must follow a naming convention to enable the download servlet to check the file versions.

  • MS Excel, is the OS X version different? Mac vs PC

    Hello Apple Discussions Community,
    I have been trying to convert some windows users to mac, their major complaint is that at their work places they use MS apps exclusively. They told me that MS Excel for Mac OS X is...
    A. Not cross platform compatible, ie you cant open Windows Excel files in the OS X version. Is this true?
    B. The Windows version has more features than the OS X version, my pals claim that the windows version has less features because MS doesn't want to promote the use of the app on another platform, thus promoting another platform. Is this true?
    C. Has anyone else out there found the same roadblock in attempting to cross platforms in such a purely administrative environment? Ie. no photo-video-music manipulation whatsoever...
    Thanks to all who respond,
    P.S. I'll let you all know who they responded to YOUR answers.

    No, it is not.

    No, it is not. Office 2004 was the last version of Office to be (virtually) 100% compatible. That was the last Mac version to support VBA. The problem was that Microsoft took some shortcuts early on in their Mac software development that started getting more and more problematic. In Office 2008, they dropped support for VBA so they could modernize their Mac software. That was a controversial decision, to say the least. But sometimes software development can't be rushed and having infinite money and resources just doesn't do you any good. I think it will be the right move in the long run, but it may cause problems now - especially with Excel.

    Yes and no. Cross platform documents have never been 100% perfect. With Office 2008, things are worse than they have been in a while. We have XML document support, but lost VBA. Personally, I would rather have the XMl documents, but that is just me. I have confidence the situation will improve over time. Keep in mind that the Microsoft Business Unit is the world's 2nd largest Macintosh software development company - after Apple.

  • Can't install OEM version of WinXP on the K7N2 Delta!??!?

    I posted on amdmb.com's forums about how I cannot get WinXP to install on my hard drive connected to the k7n2 delta. Wonkanoby, a senior moderator on one of the boards here, and a visiotor on those boards at amdmb.com, stated that OEM versions won't work on this mainboard and you have to have a retail box windows version. Is this true? if so, this is complete crap! If MSI thinks I'm going to spend $150 bucks on a retail boxed version of Xp when I have a perfectly fine working copy right here, they are N U T S!!! This has got to be the most outrageous thing I've ever heard concerning mainboard issues. I hope MSI realizes they will either be working on a bios fix or they're paying me the restocking fee to send this board back to Newegg.

    How to Install the OEM Version Windows XP Professional
    Last updated: 6/18/02
    Q.  How Do You Install the Windows XP Pro OEM Version?
    A.  I install it on a new computer (or hard disk drive taken down to "bare metal") from the DOS prompt with a Windows 98 Startup floppy (http://duxcw.com/digest/Fromshop/software/windows/startup/startup.htm). Put a copy of smartdrv.exe on the Startup floppy. You should be able to find a copy on and existing Windows 9x/Me computer at C:windows. It is on the CD’s in D:win98.  Boot to the floppy and use fdisk to partition the drive (the process the same as that at http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/software/windows/upgrade/fdisk.htm. Format the C: drive. Do not install the system files. If you have more than one partition, they can be formatted during the Windows XP installation or with Windows XP after it is installed. Also, use fdisk to manually make C: active if there is more one partition. Load smartdrv.exe…
    A:>smartdrv.exe
    …and run D:i386winnt.exe, where D: is your CD-ROKM drive.
    Do not delete or reformat C: with this method.  Winnt.exe copies the install files to that partition. You can convert it to NTFS and that process is fast.  It should also work if the i386 directory is copied to a scratch hard disk and the hard disk is connected to the secondary IDE interface.
    OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer = a company that makes/markets computers (and parts), etc. which include parts made by other companies, and not the “original” manufacturer as OEM implies, just masquerading as one.  Licenses of OEM versions of Windows, etc. software are sold to computer manufactures for installation on new computers.  They are full versions of Windows, not upgrades.  They are widely available on the "grey market" and Internet and cost considerably less than retail full versions.  Just be careful not to purchase a pirated copy.
