EA2700 - Unable to Rollback to old Web Interface

Hello,
I have an EA2700 which I am trying to rollback to the older interface, however it errors out every time I try to install the firmware.
All I ever get is this message:
Unexpected Error The firmware update did not complete successfully. Please try again later.
We've encountered an unexpected error. If the issue continues, please visit our Technical Support site.
I've reset the router multiple times, powered it off overnight, re-downloaded the file multiple times, and am still unable to successfully rollback. Sometimes it even errors out when I try to set the password on the router itself and I have to reset it again before I can use the interface.
Solved!
Go to Solution.

First of all you can try to do the 30/30/30 Hard Reset. The following procedure will clear out the NVRAM and set Router back to default values:
With the unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on back of unit for 30 seconds
Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds
Plug the unit back in STILL holding the reset button a final 30 seconds....
Then to rollback the previous firmware here is the link for the same: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=227c9e6286124532ac52a643ca4122a5_Rolling_back_the_...

  • Unable to Config WRE54G via Web Interface-Any Thoughts?

I have reset my WRE54G (version 1) to factory defaults, yet I get no response to ping or HTTP on 192.168.1.240. IP config on computer is correct--LEDs on WRE54G not indicating any issue and I can see the default SSID on my site monitor-so it is not totally dead, just brain dead apparently. Tried disabling the WEP on my WRT54G2 and doing "auto config" and that did not seem to help either...
Any thoughts on what I might do to get back to web UI?

    Try this :
Go to the setup page of the router and unsecured the network and click on save settings...Now,use auto-config feature of WRE.. Check this link. Wait for the Link and Activity lights to go blue on the range expander which will indicate a successful wireless connection between the expander and the wireless router/access point.
Now,on the wireless computer, connect to the unsecured network and try to access the gui for the wre54g by typing 192.168.1.240 in the address bar and secured the network and click save settings...Now,go to the setup page of router and put the same security key and save the settings...Power cycle the entire network and try to connect the secured network on your wireless computer.

  • E2500 Web Interface doesn't work in bridge mode

I recently bought a Cisco E2500 for work, and after setting the router to Bridge Mode, I am unable to access the router web interface.  I tried both the old IP address (192.168.1.1) and the IP address that I entered when I was configuring Bridge mode, but I couldn't get either to work.  I have always tried resetting the switch to factory defaults and trying again to make sure I didn't type anything wrong, but to no avail.  The wireless and everything works as it should, I just can't get back into the router to change any of my settings.  Any suggestions?

OK, it's working now for me : you must put a static address on your bridge that is on the same range of your Internet network.  I also update the firmware to 1.0.03 after a factory reset (just in case...).
    here's my Working Config:
    - Linksys WBR router (for Internet access) with LAN address 10.100.2.1 (DHCP enable from 10.100.2.100 to 10.100.2.199).
    - E2500 Router in BRIDGE Mode with Static address 10.100.2.201, gateway 10.100.2.1 (My WBR router).  I configured the WiFi settings and the Guest WiFi settings and everything works fine !
    - My laptop are obtaining IP address from my WBR router in the range 10.100.2.x and I can access the Web Interface of the E2500 at address 10.100.2.201 if a have to change config.
    Hope this help !

  • Web Interfaces not display in Web interface builder

    Hi All,
we transported web interfaces into the new system and we are unable to see them in web interface builder although I can see them in mime repository. The target system doesn't have appropriate web connection setting ( I can not run the web reports) yet, but I doubt   this could be the problem......
Any idea how to make them visible in WIB.
    Thanks!
    Pavel

    Hello Pavel,
the web interface builder calls the web interface very similarly to an external browser. So if you HTTP and ICM setitngs are not correct (yet), the web interface can not be displayed in the builder.

  • Unable to Access CSACS 5.3 Web Interface...

    Hi Everyone,
I wanted to note an issue I ran into today with our MS Windows 7 workstations and 2008 servers being unable to access the web management interface on our instance of ACS 5.3 and its solution, which is outlined below:
    ###      The Problem      ###
When I tried accessing the web management interface on our ACS 5.3 appliance, the browser was unable to connect.  NMS applications showed that the device was up and I was able access it via SSH.  I then tried connecting to 443 via telnet on my workstation and was successful in establishing a connection.  I proceeded to issue the "show application status acs" command showed all associated processes running.  I had a co-worker attempt to access it and he ran into the same issue.  I then proceeded to restart the ACS application by stopping and starting the associated processes.  After the processes were back up, attempts to connect to the web management interface still failed.  I then proceeded to reboot the appliance.  Again, after the applicance and processes were back up, attempts to connect continued to fail.  As a last ditch effort I used a portable version of Firefox to connect and was then successfully able to connect.
    ###       The Source        ###
After additional troubleshooting, it was discovered that the MS Internet Explorer patch associated with MS Security Advisory 2661254 just so happened to be the culprit.  This restricts the use of certificates with RSA keys less than 1024 bits in length.  The default management certificate just so happens to be 512 bits in length.
    ###          The Fix           ###
Using FireFox, I navigated to System Administration > Configuration > Local Server Certificates > Local Certificates.  I then proceeded to add a certificate in the following steps:
Select Generate Self Signed Certificate & click next
Populate the Certifcate Subject field with the appropriate DN information of the ACS server.
Change the key length to 1024 or above.
Check "Management Interface:  Used to authenticate the web server (GUI).
    Check "Replace Certificate".
    Click Finish.
The ACS server should then generate the new certifcate, replace the existing management certificate, and restart the ACS processes.  After everything is back up, you shouldn't have any issues in accessing the web interface.
    Cheers,
    Dan

  • Unable to capture trace, when user logs in throuigh Web Interface

The Trace shows 'No Records Found', when user logs in through Web Interface of CRM. But there is Trace found, when the same user logs in through logon pad and carries out normal actvities.
    sufficient auth. is provided.
Is there any setting in ST01, through which i can get trace , when user logs in through Web Interface
    Regards

    ST10 traces 1 instance only.
Your CRM web interface could use another instance than your backend. Go to transaction SM21, choose the appropriate server and run ST10 again.
    Succes!

  • RV082 Unable to see or change settings in web interface

I have just purchased an RV082. I am using a Mac with Safari and Firefox to access the web interface through http://192.168.1.1
I was able to log in to the web interface using admin/admin, but the system summary page is blank.
The category choices were visible on the left (e.g. Setup>System, Setup>Password etc... but, once again, the details area to the right is blank. No way to see what the settings are, or to change them.
I have tried Safari and Firefox, ensuring that they were up to date for all Flash and other plug-ins that might be required to view the htm documents, but no help.
I have reset the router in every conceivable manner:
    1. pressing and holding reset for 5 secs, or
    2. pressing and holding reset for 30 secs, or
    3. pressing and holding reset for 30 secs, powering off and back on again, then releasing the reset button
    4. removing all of the input cabling and power. Letting it sit for 2 minutes. Repowering.
    5. same as above, followed by a reset.
    6. etc..., etc... I've been at this for hours, systematically trying everything I could think of.
The system appears to be resetting because, typically, after a reset, it will accept my login but give me blank detail pages. If I try again, it no longer accepts my (unchanged) password. A reset allows the device to recognize admin/admin again, but still only blank detail pages.
I would appreciate any suggestions. I'm not trying to do anything fancy here, just access the web interface to change the system identifiers, password and upgrade the firmware.
    Thanks, Louis

    Hey Louis,
Try downloading an add on for firefox.  It is called IE tab 2.  This is an internet explorer emulator.  Once you have that installed you can go to the bottom right hand corner of the page and click on the IE emulator tab.  After that, try logging into the router with that page.

  • Unable to install any Gnome Extensions through Web Interface

I am trying to install Gnome Extensions through the Web Interface. I have done this before a few months ago but for some reason it stopped working. I switch the extension to on, and I confirm I want to install it. Nothing happens after.
I can enable and disable Gnome Extensions through the web interface, and the firefox extension "Gnome Shell Integration" is enabled. I have found plenty of topics on the subject but none seemed to actually provide a working solution.

Which extension are you trying to install?
I have this problem recently with google chrome and the dash-to-dock extension every time either GNOME Shell updates, or the extension updates. I find if I turn the extension off, delete it, restart GNOME Shell, and then reinstall the extension then it works.

  • Unable to access to Collaborative Views Web Interface

    Hello,
When I try to access to the Collaborative Views Web Interface through the URL
    http://<URL of your J2EE server>/cviews/views/init.do
I have the following error message :
    ISA Framework: Internal Error
No XCM application configuration has been passed and there is no default XCM application configuration defined. Check XCM configuration
I looked at the XCM Adminitration Web Interface, but I do not know what to configure to make the Collaborative Views Web Interface available...
    Any ideas ?

    Hi Sebastien,
you have to access the following link:
    http://<host>:<port>/cviews/admin/xcm/init.do
The first thing is to crete a default configuration based on the possible templates. After that you need to define a connection the Backend - JCo connection. after that save the configuration and restart the application. try again.
In the XCM area you can get some more information on what needs to be maintained by clicking on the "i" icons next to each field.
    Hope this will help you.
    Cheers

  • Jumbled text in web interface after updating Web Services / firmware

I got a message on the screen of my Officejet 6700:
    Update Recommended
An update is available for Web Services (ePrint and Apps).
    Do you want to proceed?
I selected Update Now, and it installed fine, or so I thought.
I checked the web interface for the printer, and find there is a bunch of jumbled text, like the code is messed up for the web server.
I had just finished checking the status of ink cartridges (and subsequently replaced one), therefore I fortunately still have the fully functioning webpage open on another machine, so I can tell exactly what the before-and-after is on that one page.
On the Tools > Ink Gauge page, on the good (old) page the table says (title, first row, first column):
    Installed Cartridges
    Color | Magenta | Cyan | Yellow | Black
    Part Number
    Type
    End-of-Warranty Date (Y-M-D)
    First Installation Date (Y-M-D)
    Ink Zone
    USE
    HP
But after updating the software, it says this:
    Print Self Test Page
    L@S#0456 | Number of Logged Events | L@S#0462 | L@S#0552 | L@S#0450
    Accumulated Media Usage
    Date
    L@S#0477
    L@S#0561
    L@S#3345
Also, the "Order Supplies" link, with a popup text of "Order printing supplies"
now says "Ink Cartridge", with a popup text of 'Block unwanted faxes"
And "Print Printer Status Report" now says "L@S#2567".
I went to the support section, and found a firmware update, but upon downloading and running it, upon finding the printer, it says it is already Up-to-date, and won't let me select it to try and re-apply the firmware update (as that's evidently what going through the touchscreen menu has already done).
Do I need to just restore to factory settings? I would think firmware wouldn't be changed by doing that. There isn't an old version of the firmware available on the product support page, to revert to an older version.
Via the printer touchscreen menu, a printed Printer Status Report says the firmware version is MPM3CN1322DR.
How do I force a re-install of the firmware, or get them to fix the firmware that was published on 2013-06-25?
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    michaelprang,
You are unable to revert back or reinstall the firmware since it has already been downloaded and updated.
Have you attempted to use a different web browser?

  • Unable to access Oracle XE Apex Interface

    Hello,
I've recently installed Oracle XE on Ubuntu (package oracle-xe-universal_10.2.0.1-1.1_i386.deb), however I am unable to access the web interface for Apex. If I use Firefox or Opera, it cannot recognize the file it's trying to access, but reports it as an application/octet-stream file and asks me how to open it or to save it to disk. If I use IE7, it simply displays a few unknown characters (boxes).
I had the entirety of Oracle XE installed and working prior to rebuilding the server, which is when this problem began happening, but I shouldn't have changed anything to cause a problem like this.
If anyone can shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it, since I've been unsuccessful at finding anything out about this problem.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

This is a bit old but I've faced the issue and found a (temporary?) solution.
The problem is caused by a syntax error of the generated HTML on the Change Password page. The APEX page generation code somehow truncated a closing '>' in a tag. By adding a few space, this page generated correctly. However, it seems very likely that the problem will also occur for other pages.
In file builder/f4350.sql, line 5668, change
      p_plug_source=> s,
    to
      p_plug_source=> s || '  ',
Then reload the page... I used 'sys as sysdba' and not sure this is the best option. Anyway the page showed afterwards.

  • Firefox 27.0 will not allow me to have access to my web interface on my xerox 8560 mpf printer.

I believe the loss of connectivity occurred during the firefox upgrade since I was able to address the printer's web interface earlier. The complete error message is
    Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.10.102. Peer was unable to decrypt an SSL record it received. (Error code: ssl_error_decryption_failed_alert)
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.

There have been issues reported caused by using some SSL cipher suites that aren't working properly with some servers.
A possibility to test this is to disable all SSL cipher suites on the about:config page (i.e. toggle security.ssl3.* prefs that are true to false) and enable one at the time to see if you can find the culprit and keep this suite disabled and reset the other cipher suites or possibly continue testing to see which ciphers work with this server.
Do a hard refresh of the tab with this not working page via "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" after each change.

  • Range of Variable in Web Interface Builder

    Hi,
I have created a Web Interface Builder in BW-BPS. I have created Cost Center as a Variable. However, I am unable to get this range of cost centers say 1001 to 1005 in Web Inteface Builder.
Whereas, in the Planning Folder, this works fine and I am able to select the range of Cost Centers from 1001 to 1005.
The issue is only with WEB INTERFACE BUILDER.
Looking forward for some valueable inputs.

  • Is it possible to create framework folder libraries in teh standard web interface

I'm just setting up a system and using  a VDI so it will take me a while to get the desktop integration installed.  Using the standard 16200/cs web interface, under the top level of framework folders is Enterprise libraries and I want to create some libraries under the but there's only View and Search options available. is it possible to create them using the old interface?

    Srinath,
that's a revelation! So, I could enter something like
    http://my.contentserver.com/cs/idcplg?
    IdcService=FLD_CREATE_FOLDER&fFolderType=owner&fParentGUID=FLD_ENTERPRISE_LIBRARY&fFolderName=<MyFolder&fOwner=Martin&IsJava=1
straight into the browser? (will try it now)
How complex can such a call be? Could I create a hierarchy of folders and subfolders and set metadata this way? How easy would it be to do this from a JDE business service?
