EA3500 firmware update is stuck on "waiting"

Its been half an hour now, what do i do?? I dont wanna screw up the router.

I had the same thing happen to me when I used the Linksys Smart wifi upgrade utility. I did reset to factory defaults and it worked.....but since I don't know if your linksys is still under warranty.......reset at own risk as earthmyrill suggested above.

Trying to update photoshop stuck on waiting?

    Hi matkwg,
If it's stuck at 0%, its a possibility that the network that you are using to do the update has restrictions or is not letting the download proceed. Can you please try the following and suggest :
    1) Try a different internet connection that is free from all the restrictions.
    2) Try turning off the Antivirus and try installing the product again.
    3) Try downloading the product under a new Admin user account.

  • Apps not updating.  Stuck on "Waiting"

I saw that large thread that was started months ago about apps not updating, getting hung up on "Waiting" then saying "App X could not be updated at this time.  Done?  Retry?" and no matter what you select, you cannot update or even use that app.
Has this still not been fixed?  People were posting about this issue 5+ months ago.  Do I really need to download some 3rd party software like iExplore to fix this?
I tried all the basic things listed in that thread, but I cannot believe Apple hasn't addressed this.  Is there some new quick fix I'm missing?

Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
Also, make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the iTunes Store.
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

  • How do I use icloud to restore my documents that were in Pages? Pages got stuck in "waiting" to update and when nothing else worked I deleted it and reloaded Pages. I don't want to restore everything just my Pages documents.

How do I use icloud to restore my documents that were in Pages? Pages got stuck in "waiting" to update and when nothing else worked I deleted it and reloaded Pages. Everything I can find is about wiping everything out and restoring everything. I don't want to restore everything just my Pages documents (and numbers and keynote that also locked up during updating).

What I meant is turn off Documents and Data in iCloud in OS X. Keep it on on your iOS devices. iCloud will sync documents between the iOS devices and make them available on the iCloud web site, but it won't mess up iWorks' open and save dialog boxes. It also won't assume that you want all your documents in iCloud, which I think is undesirable anyway.
Keep iOS and OS X separate, and use the web site to move files between the two as necessary.
iOS iWork is different from OS X iWork. There are fewer fonts on an iOS device. iOS iWork programs have slightly different feature sets than OS X iWork programs, and the file formats are different. iCloud automatically converts the file format when necessary, but if you make a habit of saving things directly to iCloud, you are limited to the lowest common denominator between the two versions of iWorks. So why would anyone want iWork on the Mac to open and save documents on iCloud by default?
If you want to store files in the cloud and sync them on your Macs, SugarSync is a much better solution. It lets you choose your sync folders, it doesn't make you reorganize your files, it lets you sync all file types, it doesn't convert files to a different format and back, and it stores everything in the cloud, too. Just the simle act of saving a file backs it up and syncs it. I wouldn't live without it. iCloud is best with iTunes purchases and synchronizing Mac settings and iOS files; I woudln't live without it. The two make an unbeatable combination.

  • Apps stuck in waiting after updating on iOS 7.0.2

Since i updated my iPad 2 to iOS 7.0.2 i have this persistent problem, I tried everything to make it normal but it never happens.
After i update an App on my iPad throught the AppStore on the iPad this problem occurs.
    1. Eventhough the update is complete the app gets stuck in "waiting... " state
    2. However the App opens through the AppStore on the iPad
Above are few of the apps stuck in waiting and they have a Open button adjacent to them.
Notice that iBooks is on waiting... however i can open it through the app store.
    and use it normally.
Only solution which works as of now is to delete the apps from settings on the iPad and install them again from the Appstore, but then i'd loose all the data i previously have.
I have no Idea why this is happening. I cannot open the stuck apps directly by taping them i have to go through the AppStore. Please help.
PS: You cannot uninstall app by long tapping it because the X mark does not appear on the app.

    Try a reset ...
    Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

  • Why won't my apps update now that I have updated to iOS 7? The are stuck in "waiting." And how do I fix it?

I updated to the iOS 7 and now several apps, iBooks included, won't finish the update. I can't delete and re-download because they are stuck in "waiting." Also, I can't seem to reload apps sent to cloud back to my phone.
Storage isn't the issue because I have checked that. Or at least in the surface it doesn't appear to be. Any other trouble shooting ideas are appreciated.

I found that what worked to correct this issue on my iPhone 4S was to turn off automatic app updates. I went to Settings - iTunes & App Store - and under Automatic Downloads, switched Updates to off. My apps that were stuck in 'Waiting' immediately began downloading.
Although I would like to be able to use the automatic update feature, at least I found a fix to the 'waiting' issue for now.

I have several apps that are not updating, they are stuck saying "waiting".

    Are you downloading music?
Check by going to iTunes (on iDevice) > downloads and then remove the one that is trying to download, this will then make the others download and when they are finished, the apps will update/install

  • When I try to update the apps on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 they are stuck in waiting.

When I try update my apps on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 they are all stuck in waiting.
    I have tried:
    restarting my device
signing out of the store and restarting the device and signing back in
    reset all settings
    double taping on "waiting" apps
All my softwear is up to date. I know that apps only download one at a time but I have checked them all and they are all in waiting. I am connected to wifi.
    HELP!

This is strange, but it may be a fix for my problem. These are the steps I took to possibly fix my problem. Before trying this I noticed that not only are all apps that are being updated listed as "Waiting", but new apps being installed were also listed as "Waiting".
I unselected "Sync Apps" in iTunes on my Mac. A sync automatically started and all the apps, other than the standard apps were removed.
I selected "Sync Apps" and chose just one app to install. I chose iBooks because it's an Apple app and because there is significant content associated with it through my purchases. The iBooks app installed without issue.
I selected a larger group of apps to install (basically all those that began with the letter "A"). These apps installed fine and are useable.
I selected all the apps I wanted on my iPad. These apps (113 total) all installed without being listed as "Waiting".
I used the App Store on my iPad and chose one app to update. The app was immediately listed as "Waiting" and when tapped was listed as "Paused".
I removed the app from the iPad and reinstalled it via iTunes on my Mac. The app installed fine and works great.
I accessed the iTunes Store and went to the screen "My App Updates". I selected the same app I tried to update in Step 5. The update work fine.
I synced my iPad and the newly updated app was installed on my iPad without issue.
This tells me that the issue lies within the process that updates apps on the iPad. If the app is updated in iTunes proper on my Mac, the updated app is installed on the iPad without issue.
I've only tried this with one app. I will now update all the apps on my Mac via iTunes and see if the newer versions install correctly on the iPad after syncing.
I hope this helps other people having this problem.
    Jim

just go to BlackBerry World, and update all your apps including BBM.

  • Just updated to iOS 5.1.1 stuck on waiting when trying to load apps from the apps store

Yesterday I updated my Ipad 2 to iOS 5.1.1.  Ever since, whenever I try to download an app purchased in the App store, it gets stuck on "waiting', eventually times out and asks me if I want to cancel or retry.  Retry does not help.  Have they come up with a resolution for this yet.  Also, I wonder if I'm being charged for the App?  Thanks for any help

Check iTunes and see if you have a pending or stalled download in there. If you do, finish that download or delete it if you can. If you can't finish or delete the download on the iPad, do it in iTunes on your computer and then sync the iPad. Then go back to the apps and see I'd they will download.
If that doesn't work or if that was not the problem, go to Settings>Store >Apple ID, tap your ID and sign out. Then reboot the iPad, Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Then go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again and see if the apps will update.
Once you tap on Install or Buy, you will be charged for the app. You will only be charged once. If nothing else works, you can download the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync them to the iPad. If everything totally fails, you can contact iTunes support and report the issue and see about getting a refund if the apps will not download. However, I believe that if you try what I have suggested, one of those methods will work for you.
If not - post back and others can offer help as well.

  • Application update stuck on waiting.

I have an iPad2 (WiFi only) and iPhone. Noticed last night that application update thru appstore, which used to happen easily is stuck on "waiting" mode indefinitely and after sometime comes out saying iTunes store not responding. Tried Resetting the phone&ipad and didn't solve the problem. Funnily tried updating the applications on the iPad using 3G mode and disconnecting WiFi and it worked OK. But iPad and WiFi route does not update and is stuck on "waiting". Tried updating iPad thru iPhone Internet tethering and that didn't help. Any solutions? Saw some answers on updating the applications on iTunes and then backing up. Is that the only way? Is this some problem due to overload on Apple servers?

    Possible solution
I was suffering through the samething for few days and got fed up looking at everyone's  suggestion to simply reboot and what not and finally started fiddling alright myself and seem to have fixed the problem.
I removed the the apps that we're stuck at waiting(I did this through connecting to my pc and unchecking them in the apps section on itunes through the iPad interface, but as long as you are completely backed up you could probably just delete it/them and add them back later). then after the all pending updates have been cleared, go into setting, app store, then press where it says you apple ID select sign out, and then sign back in. After doing this I was able to download apps and updates.
Hope this helps everyone that has been affected by this problem which seems to be going around.
If this helps please be kind enough to leave word that this is the solution across the board and not just an fluke.

  • On my IPad I cannot update or install any Apps. Ive tried turning off my IPad. It did not help. The Apps are stuck saying Waiting....

On my IPad I cannot update or install any Apps. I've tried restarting and that did not help. The Apps are stuck, darkened and say Waiting.... Please help me figure this issue out.

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
    If that doesn't work:
    •  Log out of your iTunes store account.  Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
    • Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
    • After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

  • LG G2 Stuck on Firmware Update

Just tried to update my LG G2 to Lollipop via the LG PC Suite and it's stuck on the 'Firmware Update' screen. The status bar got to around 30% before resetting to 0% and a message in the PC Suite stating that the update had failed and I had to run the 'Restore Upgrade Errors' option, which I did but it failed again. I've tried turning the phone off, back on while holding down the Volume Up key but it goes straight back to Firmware Update. Can anyone suggest anything else or will it be a case of contacting EE for a replacement?

Hi Leanne, I've managed to resolve it. It took some persaverance but everytime I tried the 'Restore Upgrades Error' option in the LG PC Suite app, the progress bar would move further up. Eventually, after the 22nd attempt, it got to 100% and Lollipop is now installed. It's going through the update of all the apps but so far, it seems to be working ok. Thanks for getting back to me,Monstar316

  • Firmware update 'stuck'

The most recent keyboard and MBP update is "stuck" at about 75%. It took a few minutes to get to that point and has now been at that percentage for over an hour.

    Thanks again.
I couldn't even get Software Update to quit. So I looked up the process ID in Activity Monitor and used a command line in Terminal to kill the it. Ditto the other two processes that wouldn't force quit.
Then I ran Software Update again. This time the install script ran rather quickly, and then asked for a restart, which I did. The machine ALMOST shut down. Everything gone. Screen black, except for a mouse cursor arrow which would move when the mouse was moved.
I manually powered down the machine and then restarted, waiting for the long beep per your advice. When machine restarted it reported that the same dialogue box relative to the update was on the screen again with the options SHUT DOWN or CANCEL. I chose cancel. And then ran Software Update again and this time it reported that everything was up-to-date.
