EA4500 - Slow Loading for Random Websites

Hi guys,
I have this problem trying to load websites like http://animeflv.net/ or http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/ they get stuck and start loading really slow. I follow the MTU guide and set it to 1300 but it didn't improve this.
I also did factory reset using the admin and manually by pressing the red button. I really do not know what to do and would like some help.

Did you update the firmware? If not then I recommend upgrading and then a factory reset.

Slow Load speed of websites

I am having trouble with the website load speed on My 2010 Mac. The page load is very slow and 30% of the time the page will not load at all. Looking for what I can change on the Mac or if it is my ISP.

First thing to do is reset the modem and router. If necessary do hard resets, you will need the manuals on both devices to know how to do that. Because "slow" is a relative term you may need to do more digging. If it was once fast and the resets do not help then download and install iStumbler (Google it) and look to see if you are competing with your neighbors for a Wi-Fi channel. Let iStumbler run about 30 minutes and check to see what channel you and the neighbors are using. If you see you're competing with some neighbors change the router's channel to one not being used.

Images and formatting not loading for certain websites

Within the last couple of weeks the website bfads.net has stopped loading properly. All other websites load properly with the exception of some forum websites I came across while looking for an answer to this problem. The website loads very slowly but is missing all formatting and images (except ad banners). It is one solid white page with lots of black and blue hyperlinked text. It looks like you were seeing the page in text view. The forum websites that don't load have the same appearance. I am running Windows XP SP3 and Firefox v16 after upgrading from v12.
Here is what I have tried so far.
- Updated Firefox to the latest version
- Cleared the history, cookies and cache
- Restarted Firefox in Safe Mode with extensions turned off
- Updated all plugins
- Ran Spybot with no issues
- Ran AVG with no issues
- Checked to make sure there is no ad or image blocking turned on (there is none)
- Performed a Shift + R to reload the page
- Removed any programs installed recently
- Checked Internet Options in Windows to make sure nothing looks out of place

Do all other web pages display properly?
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

You can also try to reset all prefs in case were were changed accidentally.

You can try to reset Firefox.

If you reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some of your data (bookmarks, passwords, cookies, form data) is automatically imported and your current profile will be moved to the desktop (Old Firefox Data).
You can recover more data from the old profile (be cautious with doing that).

Slow loading for Camera

Hi,
My iphone 4 camera takes a really long time to load. Initially when I got the phone, loading time is fast. Now it's getting slower and slower. I've synced the photos / videos to folders, so the camera roll is quite empty.
Does anyone know why the camera is slowing down so much?

KLet me just say DITTO on this.
I have an iphone 4.
The camera can take ten seconds to load sometimes.
Or when I record a video the screen may freeze during recording.
Or when I stop the video recording - the phone may freeze up for 5-15 seconds before it is responsive again.
It is also often rebuilding its library which can take a while
I had an older iphone and so have 3+ years pf photos and videos in my library - over 1000 photos or videos.
Why do I have so many? Cause its a pain to delete them in the app ( I cant select a group of them - say all photos from a single month and delete them all) I know I can delete more than one at a time but its still painful when you have to go back through three years of photos.

Safari pause & start slow loading for live internet video & question marks

Hello,
I like to watch this live show on marilyn.ca and if I use Safari a segment takes forever to load and when it does it stops and starts and keeps loading after a few seconds. This never happens on Firefox with the same URL.
Then I sometimes open a new page and see a question mark where there should be a photo. I have Perian installed and Flip 4 Mac. Again in Firefox I have no problems. I used to always use Firefox then switched back to Safari. Is there a way to solve these 2 problems?

Hi,
Check Safari / Preferences - Extensions.
If you have any installed, turn that off, try that site.
For photos... back to the menu bar, click Safari / Preferences then select the Appearance tab.
Make sure: *Display images when the pages loads* is selected.

Website slow loading

So I am having a problem with one website that I frequent. It it much slower loading than other websites I visit. The progress bar seems to freeze for several seconds. Sometimes if I hit the x then the reload symbol the page loads right away. I have asked other people, it is a forum site, if they have had problems lately and nobody has experienced the slow loading problem I have. One person suggested clearing the history which I did. That didn't work so I researched the web and found a suggestion to delete the cache from the library and also clear history. I did that as well and nothing has improved. It only happens on this one site and has only started happening in the last two maybe three weeks.
Any suggestions on what else I could try? I do not want to use another browser to see if it works in another browser. It used to work fine but doesn't now. Just looking for other things I could try to resolve the issue.

Start up in Recovery mode. In the OS X Utilities screen, select Get Help Online. A clean copy of Safari will launch. No plugins, such as Flash, will be available. While in Recovery, you'll have no access to your saved bookmarks or passwords, so make a note of those before you begin, if they're needed for the test.
Test. After testing, restart as usual and post the results.

Why does my MBP15 take forever to load images from websites?

Hello all! Well the title tells my problem. It seems like most web pages load small images and avatars very slowly....is something wrong with my computer? Anyone else have slow loading images from websites? It does not seem to matter which website I visit...all are slow.

Slow loading website

So I just finished my website but it loads piece by piece and
a slower than I would have liked. is there anyway to improve this
that would not require me redoing it all over? The site is here:

A couple of things:
(1) If the music is in your flash file, you can delay it a
few frames. Too much in the first frame slows loading. You might
consider adding a volume X button for those that want to browse w/
sound.
(2) Optimize the images of your page. There are a lot of them
which is one of the reasons for the slow load.
Is that your musical composition? If not, you should post
your use with permission on the front page to oblige the author's
permission. If you don't have that....lose the music. Be careful
here, especially with professional sites.

Firefox does not load random websites. Using a 3.6 or later version, with an XP OS.

My Dad's laptop is using XP OS.
He's been using Firefox quite a bit, until recently (about a month ago or more) when we go to any random website, it does not load. All it shows is a blank page and at the bottom bar it says "Done".
But after refreshing it multiple times (and I mean A LOT of times) it either loads it or does not.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Random, excruciatingly slow load time with 7900 Elite small form factor desktops

Hi all, I have approx 300 HP 7900 Elite small form factor machines in my environment that were deployed just over two years ago. from the time of deployment we have experienced on about 50 occasions a random, excruciatingly slow load time that take about one hour for the user to login and open their programs. there has been no rhyme or reason for it, different floors, areas of the building, etc. I searched the forum for similar probs and didn't see one like this, I hope I'm not duplicating efforts from someone else's question... One thing we have noticed is that if we re-boot while it is going through the start-up process, it seems to "make it angry" and will lengthen the overall load time. We use the 32-bit Vista Enterprise OS. This is with a "stock" build, that is to say, our standard corporate build. our security policy does not allow users to install software, by the way. How is the issue going? Usually, this error can be caused by missing third-party NIC driver. To solve the issue, we can download the missing network
driver and update the WDS boot image to include it.

If you created it in Forms Central, you have to edit it there. I believe Forms Central is similar to LiveCycle Designer in that the form created is no longer able to be edited in Acrobat. I might be wrong, but that is my understanding. You add the submit button in Forms Central. Within Acrobat, you should be able to go to the forms menu and Manage Data to save the data to an Excel file. Others better with forms should be by to clarify things, but this should get you started. In the future you might find it better to post a forms question in the forms discussions.

Slow loading on website

I am new to Quicktime Pro, but have found it very easy to use with great quality results endoding my FC files for the web. My problem is that when a user clicks to open my video sample, the file has a very slow load time. Some specifics:
input file: 1.8 GB file exported from FCE as uncompressed 8-bit
output file: in QTPro - encoded with H.264, 15 fps, 100 key frame, 800 kbps, set for streaming (fast start), 640X480, deinterlacing checked. file size 8 MB.
As I said, the quality is great (except that the deinterlacing filter doesn't seem to do anything), but the playback outpaces the load very quickly. It takes almost 2-3 minutes for the file to be ready to start automatically. I've been told that an 800 kbps file should load in a few seconds.
Is there anything you could tell me to enhance the load time? I'm wondering if I'm missing a simple step since QT has been so easy to start to use.

Nothing at all wrong with your QuickTime file but your html code at http://aftglow.com/ directly links to it rather than calling the quickTime browser plug-in.
That may be the source of your troubles. You need to use special html page code for QuickTime:

Applicationhost.config updates for HTTP Slow Post with Azure Websites

We are trying to update our Azure websites to not show as vulnerable to the HTTP Slow Post vulnerability. Some articles suggest fixing this by updating the applicationHost.config via IIS to update the connection timeout values. Obviously with Azure websites,
we don't have access to IIS. Came across some options with Kudu and XDT to modify the application host file, as outlined on these two sites:

Currently am using the following as our applicationHost.xdt (I have this both in our application root, as well as in a SiteExtensions folder as I wasn't clear which one was required).

if our XDT is correctly being applied, so if we could see what the resulting file was that may also allow us to further troubleshoot.

I thought ff4 was suppose to be faster than 3.6 but it is slower loading and getting to websites. Are ther certain add-ons that could be affecting ff4 that did not affect 3.6?

ff4 generally slower loading and loading pages.

same problem here for the past two days till this morning when I created a new profile and removed ALL addons from the default profile. With the new profile with NO addons, I got to the sites with video that I had problem with and flash player did work.
Now, I only have three addons that have not created the problem; adblock, flashgot, and flashblock.
Create a new profile and check it out.
