EA6500 loses WAN Internet - have to reboot, why?

Have EA6500 with Powerline and WAP300N to get wi-fi in all areas of home and works great.
But every 1-2 weeks all of my connected device lose WAN Interent connection, but still connected to router via wi-fi.
I power cycle EA6500 and then everything works great again. All devices get WAN Interent again.
Is there a configuration setting in the router I can change to stop the periodic power cycle?
My ISP is Cox Cable out of southern California.

Hi,
Can you try to perform MAC address cloning? Just access the setup page of your router then go to Connectivity -> Internet Settings. Put a check mark on Enabled box on MAC Address Clone -> then click on Clone My PC's MAC. Apply the settings afterwards.

HP Laserjet 100 MFP 175nw, Printer loses connection and have to reboot to print

This is super annoying.
Had this printer for a few months and it worked great. Changed my wireless password a couple weeks ago and now the dang thing has to be rebooted almost everytime it needs to print.
Today I did a fresh install on my iMac for it and after a couple hours it went right back to being unavailable. Help... before I smash it!
To note: I downloaded the driver install pkg fresh today from HPs site and used that for installation so the firmware can't be out of date.

So you changed the password on your router and when you need to print you have to reboot the router. What is the status of the printer when this occurs? Does the printer have a valid IP address at the time? Does the router see the printers IP address?

Every time mac I stop using my mac unable to connect again to the internet - have to reboot every time

every time I stop using mac and close the lid, when I open it again it will not connect to the Internet... only can get it to work again by rebooting... help!!!

I am having this problem also.
It does not happen if I duplicate, edit, and save. Of course, I don't want to have to duplicate and edit every file. As original poster said, the file is not locked, the get info box says that I do indeed have permission to edit, and the Time Machine lock preference is turned off.
How can this be fixed?

After installing or uninstalling a program or after installing a Windows update requiring a reboot, I lose Firefox and have to reboot a second time.

Am running VistaSP2 on a Dell E520 with a Kaspersky based AV program. Ever since I installed the latest version of Firefox I find that when I install or uninstall a new app (e.g. Adobe Acrobat X Pro, Skype, Windows Messenger, etc.) or when I install an update from any source that requires a reboot, I find that Firefox will not start. Even the UAC confirmation window will not open. I have to perform a second reboot to be able to open Firefox. I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and it does not help.

Which is it, hanging or crashing, or both?

I lose my internet connection when i sync iTunes and ATV. Please help

Ive just bought a new Apple TV and I am trying to stream TV shows and movies from my iMac via the wireless network.
The ATV found the right network instantly and I wrote in the password. Ive paired the iMac iTunes and ATV and I can see all the episodes and movies on my TV.
When I want to start to watch any of it, it loses its connection to the router/network. And so does the iMac. I havent had any trouble with the iMacs connection to the network until now. If Im not trying to watch anything on my TV, the internet is fine on both the ATV and iTunes.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Ive tried to fix the DHCP in my router settings, but im not even sure what that means, let alone if it helps When i lose the internet, I can still see the network name, but when I try to connect, it says that connection timeout.
I have a D-Link DI 524 router.

EDIT: If I exit iTunes my internet connection is fine. As soon as I start it and iTunes starts to sync with ATV, I lose the internet. Anyone know why and how I can fix it?
I forgot to add that WAN settings in my router says that I have Dynamic IP Address.

Okay.. When i stop the syncing between the ATV and itunes, I can watch a movie/TV-show for about 30 seconds, then the network will timeout.
So i know the atv is working. I have a feeling its the router that is too old? I will try to upgrade its firmware tomorrow, as i was told i couldnt to this when connected to wireless?

If your problem is due to interference, you might be able to improve things by changing the channel. An AirPort base station that old is probably an 802.11b/g model, which suggests that the best choices for channel are 1, 6, and 11.

Why do I have to reboot my internet SO much?!

All right. I have no idea where to post this, so i figure since I've suspected this could link to a hardware issue to my PC, I feel it's proper to maybe bring it here because of that.
I keep my PC on 24/7, which may be unhealthy for the machine, may not be. I'm finding it frustrating every growing minute it happens when I can't load certain pages via internet. It forces me to have to reboot my whole PC sometimes for it to get connectivity. Sometimes, i've had to reboot my own DSL Modem so I could get internet connectivity.
I always know when I have to, when I get "Server Not Found" errors on sites like Google or that Thunderbird won't connect to the IMAP servers for my mail or that Steam cannot load it's store page, bringing back 503 Errors. That's when I have to reboot my DSL Modem, as well when I can't get to certain other pages.
I'll also know when the little internet icon shows the little caution triangle on it, that's when I have to reboot the whole machine to get internet back.
So, I'm thinking something is about to fail or is on the verge of failing. I highly suspect the onboard ethernet port, because I really doubt this could be a faulty cable. Otherwise, it wouldn't let me on.

The problem could be your DSL service. The farther away you get from the central office, the weaker the signal becomes. Because of this, I have linked the table. I had DSL, and hopefully will never go back. About that "constant on", I have 2 systems doing 24/7. One had to be replaced after 7 years. During those 7 years, I had a power surge (thru supressor) that took out the 350W PSU, and a TV tuner card.

When I try to log in to the Centrelink site computer freezes and have to reboot router but this does not happen with Internet Explorer

Why do I have to reboot my computer to connect to my remote speakers. I have used this for a year. Run my home through I-tunes, it has worked great. Now, itunes wont connect to remote speakers. I lost my connection with internet with Shaw. When they turned it back on. This is what has happened. Been checking ip addresses, etc, all seems good. The only thing that works is rebooting. Any ideas? My intenet is connected to time capsule. I can connect to remote speakers with my laptop, just not my desktop.

I totally agree. The fact that other applications use webkit is not a reason for a system reboot.. those applications, if they are open at the time of the update.. can merely be quit during.. then restarted after the webkit update. The only user interaction.. and interruption... would be the click of a button.. and a chat.. browser.. mail restart. That is entirely different than having the system reboot.. which requires that you drop everything.
Perhaps.. since this obviously isn't a browser update.. Apple can just call it what it is.. an OS security update.... Since webkit is down deep in the OS enough to require a reboot.
For those of you that don't think this is a big deal.. out of principle, it seems odd to revert to Win 95-like behavior. Apple chose to do it this way.. they weren't forced to.

Kernel and firmware updates should be the only things requiring a system reboot. Everything else (iTunes, iPhoto,Safari) and be done through plain file replacement service restarts.

New TC have to reboot every morn to connect to internet

My new TC works fine but every morn have to reboot TC and comcast modem to connect to TC and internet any help would be appreciated. Using TC as router and external HD.

Only most people do not lose the internet..
That is a more interesting and major effect..
Try forcing a renewal of the dhcp lease of whatever connection you have ie if wireless click on airport icon .. go to network preferences, advanced, tcp/ip and force a dhcp renewal.
If ethernet do the same thing. try and force the device to get the ip.. if nothing changes and still no internet..
Open a terminal and type ifconfig .. copy and paste here.
Then use ping command to ping the TC. If that works try and ping an internet address first by name then IP. This will show if gateway or dns is failing.

An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

Make Sure iOS is updated to the latest version
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
