EA6500 - Wireless - Facebook URL - Fail

Hi All, I have been experiencing an unusual situation over the past 3 or so days.
If I access any of the Facebook sites while connected over Wireless on my EA6500 router, every 10 or 15 minutes or so, access to any of the Facebook sites fails to load in Internet explorer. After about 5 minutes, then the Facebook sites start working again.
No other URLs (other sites experience any issues)
1. If I am on the wired LAN through the same router, I experience "NO issues" ever.
2. Issue happens on multiple computers using Wireless only
3. Using Wireshark to monitor DNS messages, all DNS queries are given a response
4, Modified router to use different public DNS servers, still experience issues over wireless only.
5. Reboot router, Facebook sites work for 10-15 then fail on Wireless only
6. Reboot each computer, Facebook sites work for 10-15 then fail on Wireless only.
7. Remove computer to outside access point, NO problems on wireless.
8. Router has the latest Firmware "Ver.1.1.28.146856"
9 If I run two computers next to each other and access exactly the same Facebook sites, only the Wireless connection fails intermittently, the wired connection works every time in tandem with each computer.

10.1.3.0 install on solaris em url fails and name resolution fails

Hi
I wondered if anybody would know this. I installed 10.1.3.0 app server on solaris and my hosts file is ok I can resolve mymachine.domain.com. The install is a clean 10.1.3.0 install. I have the 9.2.0.7 db installed elsewhere on the box.
Opmnctl tells me that my oc4j and http instances are alive (home) and i can get to the first http page.
http://<ipaddress>:7777
with no problems but when i click on the link on the rhs redirection to the http://<ipaddress>:7777/em url fails so i cannot get the console up.
Question is why is the em not responsiong but it appears to be running and installed ok.
Question 2 is why does the em link resolve to localhost when i go to the em.
Hosts file looks ok and seems to resolve with ping. Machine is on network but not in any dns.
Has anybody got any suggestions? There is absolutely 0 error messages in the logfiles.
I have installed other servers in the past without any issues at all at other places on other machines.

If you check the logs of ons, you can check which IP opmn is bound to. This might end up being localhost, instead of public. This might have to do something with this EM issue. By adding <ipaddr request="$PUBLIC_IP" remote="$PUBLIC_IP" /> to opmn.xml this can be solved (please do check the documentation for the exact syntax!!!!)
Could you also check what servername is defined in your httpd.conf, this might have something to do with the resolving thing (also check useCaconicalName parameter)

Question about Facebook URL

Hey everyone, new here so Im probably doing this completely wrong but please bare with me! I was randomly directed here whilst trying to find out if theres a way of changing my Facebook URL (its already been changed once - not by me)
I have no idea why the adobe forum section would be interested in that, but the link provided sent me here. I also had no idea what thread to post this in either, so I apologise in advance for probably making a mistake.

My wireless connection keeps failing.

My wireless connection keeps failing. I turn off the wireless and it resets and works however it is temporary. Any suggestions. I bought my Airport Extreme 11/2012

It sounds like your Wi-Fi connection from your Airport is dropping and when power cycled works for a very short period of time before stopping again. I would next try a hard reset, and test the issue. Then if needed reset it to factory default and test again. The following article explains what the resets do, and how to do them:

Hard reset: Resets the base station back to an unconfigured state, but retains the last saved configuration and any profiles so you can restore your base station from previous settings.
Factory default reset: The same as a hard reset but also removes any saved configurations or profiles.

Firefox Profile - How To add Twitter & Facebook URLs?

Just created my Firefox profile, added the bio and web pages with no problem. Cannot add the Twitter or Facebook URLs even though I tried everything that made sense.
What format do you want people to use to add their Twitter and Facebook URLs on the Firefox profiles?

apologies I should have put that in at the beginning. I edited the photo - clicked create - then cover photo. When in position I added text to the image, then realising that I needed to logos for the text to make sense. Currently stuck on photo editor unaware of how to add the logos separately. They are 3 separate photos of the logo's from google, saved as jpegs and png's and I need them to appear on the cover photo.

How do I stop the **bleep** "Facebook Authentication Failed" notice

Ever since the last update I've been getting a "Facebook authentication failed" notice several times day. I don't have Facebook and I don't want Facebook. The phone only gives me options to "Try again" or "Sign up." I don't want either. How do I keep the **bleep** phone from trying to log onto a non-existent Facebook account?

Check your sync settings and make sure that facebook sync is off...I believe you can delete the sync option as well.

URL Redirection on Wireless Client Machine Fails

Let me explain my scenario. WLC is integrated with ISE & ISE is integrated with AD. We have wireless users (not a guest wireless users) who has to go through the ISE process before gonna access the network. These domain users is successfully authenticating by the AD through WLC & ISE. Once the domain users authenticate they have to redirect to URL while accessing any website through browser but it is not happening.
Moreover, could you please help me that how to configure posture condition for AV & WSUS. Do you have any doc to configure following requirement & apply to profile.

Photosmart C7250 wireless 802.11b fails

My new C7250 works well with USB and wired ethernet, but fails miserably (prints slowly, if at all) on my wireless 802.11b network. All other devices work well on my wireless network. I've spent many hours with HP and exhausted their first line support. They supposedly have opened a case but I have heard nothing in a week. Meanwhile, I took a network trace using WireShark and it shows a large number of retransmissions. (I'm expert with application/network performance profiling.) All you have to do is browse to http://192.168.1.xxx/ to test transmission -- don't even need to install drivers or printers to see the errors. This problem appears to be with wireless support on the C7250.
Has anyone experienced problems or success with 802.11b on this device? How about 802.11g? I would be willing to upgrade my wireless if I knew that it would resolve the problem.
What does it take to escalate a probem with HP for resolution?

All 2004 and newer wireless HP Inkjet printers are compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b networks (otherwise we couldn't get 802.11g Wi-Fi certification). Besides testing for interoperability, we test for a minimum wireless throughput at the TCP layer.
I'd like to see the internal connectivity report that you can generate by pressing the <setup> and <#> buttons simultaneously. Scan the report to a memory card, copy it to your PC and post the image here.
It will tell me information about your wireless network and other networks in the area.
I have a couple of other questions:
Does the slow printing go away after a power cycling the printer and then does it return later?
Does the slow printing go away after a power cycling the wireless-router and then does it return later?
Are you seeing retransmissions of TCP, 802.3 (ethernet) frames or 802.11 frames? I wasn't sure at what layer you are sniffing the data at?
What make and model 802.11b wireless-router are you using?
Do you have encryption enabled? Does disabling encryption change the speed of printing?
How many wireless PC's (Macs?) to you have on your network? Do they all exhibit slow printing?
Have you changed the default fragmentation settings of your wireless-router?
At home, I routinely get 1.5 Mbytes/sec transfer rates between my 802.11g wireless-routers and my HP printers and about 700 Kbytes/sec in 802.11b mode.
One other thing you can try is to go to the printers internal web page, browse over to the Networking, Wireless, Advanced page and enable the configuration "In an infrastructure network use 802.11b behavior".

Ipod connection causing netgear wireless link to fail

Every time I connect my ipod to windows, my wireless link (netgear router) fails, and I have to turn my computer off an on again. Using itunes v7 with 4th generation ipod.

DHCP lease time on the router is 30 minutes.
It appears that the clients, specifically the only wireless laptop on the network, drops the connection and when it reconnects it gets a new lease and IP address. This happens many times until all IPs are in use. I don't know why the lap top drops the connection when the signal strength is excellent.
I have seen the MAC address of the Client in some cases but the majority are the WRE.
I've linked to some pictures of the router set up, the DHCP client list, and the basic WRE setup. There are only 3 wireless devices in my home, 1 laptop, 2 iPhones. I guess a neighbour could be trying to connect but I do have MAC address filtering turned on so only included MAC Addresses can connect.
I guess I could always update the firmware but I only want to do that if it will fix this issue. I tried the live chat today but I didn't have access to my home network so there wasn't much that we could do.

WebDynpro URL failing?

Hi,
I'm working on ESS/MSS implementation. We got some workflows tasks that are sitting in UWL task list when employee submitted leave request. Manager need to approve it.
As a manager role, when I click on LeaveReqeust task from UWL inbox, portal tries to open the leave request in WebDynpro but fails with error saying no service is available. The new opened window has this message
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://<hostname>:8010/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/ess~lea/LeaveRequestApprover call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
The interesting thing is, the URL hostname it's using is not the portal hostname that is configured in SAP_WebDynpro_XSS system object WebAS connection details. If I grab the above url and change the hostname and port to my portal hostname and port 50000, paste in new IE browser it works successfully (Leave request is opening).
Where is this hostname and port number in the above URL coming from? My SAP_WebDynpro_XSS system object connection test are failing with following message.
The Web AS ping service http://<Portal hostname>:50000/sap/bc/ping was not pinged successfully. If the ping service is not activated on the Web AS, you can try to call the ping service manually.
An HTTP/S connection to http://<Portal hostname>:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/ was not obtained successfully; this might be due to a closed port on the Firewall.

Guest Wireless and URL re-direct failure

Hi,
We have a successful guest wireless service with authentication via a Cisco NAC server. One MAC user is having difficulty accessing the authentication URL (https://1.1.1.1/login.html) - this is using either Safari, Firefox or Google Chrome browsers. The browsers do not automatically re-direct and when I enter the authentication URL manually, if it does appear, when entering the username/password combination, the screen just returns to the authentication URL and does not display the successful authentication sub-window.
There are no proxy settings on the browser - does anybody have any suggestions?

When you say, "One MAC user" you mean every other client works except for this one MAC device? If other MAC devices work, then it must be something on the client device that is having issues. The only issue that I have ran into, is html code that might not be supported in certain browsers if you are runing a custom webauth page.

E4200 Bridged Mode - Wireless and Management fail after 36 hours

Greetings all,
I am trying to see if anybody else is having this problem. I have the E4200 and have it configured in bridged mode. Once configured, everything works great for 36 hours.
After 36 hours, all wireless devices are unable to pull an IP address and the management IP address of the E4200 stops responding. The only way to restore service is to reload the router.
I took the first one back to Best Buy and they gave me a new one, however the new router has the same issue.
It seems to me that after 36 hours, the E4200 fails to renew its management IP and also stops forwarding wireless broadcasts (DHCP) requests to my DHCP server.
Thoughts?

Thanks. The new E4200 firmware has "bridged mode" so basically I just have this thing acting as a Wireless access point that has 5 Gigabit ethernet ports.
This disables the routing engine in the E4200 and it acts as a wireless AP and switch. The E4200's WAN port then connects to a Gigabit switch located in my telco closet, which is connected to my FiOS Router.
Reason for this setup is so that devices connected to either the Gigabit switch, or to the E4200 via hardwire or wireless will all remain on the same subnet, and not cause the broadcasts to block as packets traverse subnets.

Photoshop elements 9 Facebook uploader fails

When trying to upload a group of photos to a new or an old album on Facebook the process gets to the end of the "uploading" bit and then returns the message:
"Service has encountered an error, kindly try again."
It's done this several times in the last few days and I've not managed to upload any groups succesfully.
The first photo selected uploads and the rest fail.
It worked the first time I did it a couple of weeks ago, what's changed?

Try clearing your OLS cache that is delete the last folder in mentioned paths-
-C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Elements Organizer\9.0\Organizer\OLS
-C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Online Services\Photoshop Elements 9.0.0
Once done, refresh OLS services from 'Edit->Preferences->Adobe Partner servies->Refresh (button)'.

When I take a picture.and then press facebook icon on top right(((share to Facebook with experia))) it starts uploading then fails... Never use to..now can only upload through Facebook app..any ideas??.. Z2 has a few flaws

URL failing

Im trying to open a gatewayed URL from a link in an email. The problem is that the argument at the end of the url is automatically removed when I click the link. This has the effect of opening the page, but will no values displayed in the controls. This only happens if I have not previously established a portal session by opening an explorer window before clicking on the email link.
