Each Delivery to each Shipment Cost Item

I'm creating shipment cost documents (vi01) for a Shipment document with 3 deliveries.
The shipment cost document has only one item with 3 subitems. And is checking for the price condition record using the data of the first delivery for the 3 subitems.
I would like to have one item for each delivery document in order to avoid this situation but I can't figure out how, any idea?
Thanks in advanced
Fortian

As I've read: "The items refer either to a shipment header or a shipment stage"
I close the thread (I will open a new one with a more specific question)
Thanks

  • Searching for untransfered shipment cost items

    Hello everyone,
Would you please help me with this question? Is there a report to find all the shipment cost items which:
    - were entered into the shipment cost, but have not yet been transfered?
    - have been transfered but the associated invoices (MIRO's) have not been created?
Thank you very much for help.

Check transaction: VI12 - Settlement List .In that transaction, you have a accounting status tab which has the transfer status.

  • Outbound delivery deletion with shipment cost settled.

    Dears
I have one question about how to delete one outbound delivery which has one shipment document inside.
    Scenarios like:
we do normal sales order -> outbound delivery -> Picking -> Loading -> PGI -> invoice. and also from outbound delivery to shipment document and shipment cost settled. that means everything is done.
But next month, the customer said they do not need such goods, they want to return all and take money back. so we need to cancel billing , PGI , and warehouse transactions. as you know , the previous month already been closed. we could not cancel shipment cost settlement . actually, we do not need to cancel it because the shipment is done by 3rd party partner. we need pay the transportation cost.
the problem, is when I use VL02n to delete outbound delivery item, it is not allowed because in document flow, there is one shipment document could not be deleted. but this outbound delivery status is OPEN, it always books some items which we will never delivery.
is there one can help me about how to delete outbound delivery or how to close it to avoid stock booking ( ATP)?
    thanks
    jerry W.

    hello Jürgen L
thanks for your answer. I fully agree with you. it is just our business user ( specially from warehouse) want to make process simple, so then use this way to cancel billing and PGI, then delete delivery lines. I will push them to use standard process .
    thanks again.
    best regards,

  • Shipment cost: number of items in service entry sheet

    Dear Experts,
Is there a customizing setting that restricts the maximum allowed number of lines in service entry sheets?
    Context:
Once I transfer shipment costs, several goods receipt sheets and service entry sheets are created.
I first thought that there was a one-on-one releationship between a shipment cost item and a service entry sheet. I.e. if there are e.g. 7 shipment cost items, than 7 service entry sheets are created.
The shipment cost distribution level is set on "delivery item": if for one shipment cost item, there are 250 delivery items, the cost is distributed all over these 250 delivery items. For each delivery item, a line is created in the service entry sheet. However, in my case 3 service entry sheets are created with on:
    - 1st service entry sheet: 99 items
    - 2nd service entry sheet: 99 items
    - 3nd service entry sheet 52 items
Is there a way to avoid that several entry sheets are created for one . In my case that only 1 entry sheet with 250 items is created after transfer.
    Thanks for the help!
    Kind Regards
    Thiago Santos

If you are not posting the delivery cost on the material value, then use A - Shipment costs item in the item category.
Delivery sub-item - A shipment cost sub-item will be created for every relevant delivery sub-item.
Shipment costs item - One shipment cost sub-item will be created.

  • Delivery costs with shipment costs

    Dear Sir,
I want to capture the delivery costs from shipment cost document.
I did all bellow mentioned settings:
For freight cost to be transfered as delivery cost, the Purchase order need to have a freight condition with zero value. Also the freight condition need to have indicator set in config for 'copy shipment cost'. Once this is set up and shipment cost document created, do PGI and it should create a DCGR document in PO History.
Even after all these settings, i tried but no result. It is not creating ths DCGR in PO History.
Can any body tell me this bellow setting: Where is this exactly. I tried no field with the name Relevant for costing
Shipment cost item categories Under the Shipment cost types and item categories activity, set the Relevant for costing field to A = Relevant for calculating delivery costs (Delivery costs). This results in the shipment costs not being transferred directly into accounting. The accounting is done via the purchasing functionality for delivery costs.
Can any body give me the solution?
    With regards

    Hi
I think that you have had your question answered so if you are happy with this can you please award points if you want to but mainly can you please mark your question as answered so that it is easier to navigate around the open questions in the forum as the number of pages are growing and growing and it takes too long to go through everything especially if a satisfactory answer has already been given and people like me who want to help will give up and so some people may not get any help.
    Thanks for this

  • Shipment costs to appear as delivery costs in Purchase

    Hi,

in configuration i have created a new condition in Purchasing ZFRB which has copy shipment cost slected, and added this to the purchasing schema.

i would be grateful if someone could help me with configuration that i've missed,

Please read OSS note 427944 and check SAP online help:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/83/218ad1068a11d2bf5d0000e8a7386f/frameset.htm
    Prerequisites
To add shipment costs to delivery costs in the incoming shipments, you need the following settings in Customizing:
    Shipment cost item categories
Under the Shipment cost types and item categories activity, set the Relevant for costing field to A = Relevant for calculating delivery costs (Delivery costs). This results in the shipment costs not being transferred directly into accounting. The accounting is done via the purchasing functionality for delivery costs.
    Conditions in the purchase order
Under the Define condition types activity, set the Condition type field to B = Delivery costs. In addition, select the Transfer shipment costs field. The system only shows this field, if you have chosen delivery costs as condition type. In the purchase order, you have to enter the condition type in the item category section. However, you do not enter a value since this value will be determined by the shipment cost document and will then be automatically transferred to the goods receipt document.
    Goods receipt
To find the relevant shipment cost documents, you must know the corresponding inbound deliveries. Therefore for incoming goods this must relate to confirmation-related goods receipts. Under the Set up confirmation control activity, select the GR-relevant and GR assignment fields for the appropriate confirmation control key (which is then entered in the purchase order).

I want to know system is considering which delivery date in shipment cost.

    Hi
Can you provide few details like.....
what are all preceeding steps you completed before shipment cost Processing
whether you restricted only backward scheduling?
Generally backward scheduling checks whether the delivery date  is in past or not?

  • Item categories in shipment cost document

    Hi guys,
I have a problem with creation of shipment cost documents. I have maintained two shipment cost item categories, one for ship to warehouse and one for ship to customer. Problem is that when creating the shipment cost document, both item categories appear. Item category Z001 and Z002. Z001 has correct price, Z002 will have 0 value. Any ways that I can stop Z001/Z002 from appearing when it has a 0 value?
    Thanks,
    Jimmy

    Hi,
I have serious doubts whether such setting would exist in standard system... So, what you can do is to solve it via developments:
SPRO > LE > Transportation > System Modifications > User Exits For Transportation
SPRO > LE > Transportation > System Modifications > Business Add-Ins in Transportation
Please check help for these customizing nodes.
    (Maybe "BADI_SCD_SAVE"?)
However, maybe it would be worth considering whether you really needs two item categories.
Please also check what SAP help says for SPRO > LE > Transportation > Shipment Cost > Shipment Cost Document > Shipment Cost Types and Item Categories
You can, for example, create several items for a shipment stage per cost type. You may wish to do this if you want to post the basic freight and a surcharge for the stage to different G/L accounts. If you need to post to several accounts for one cost type, you can specify several item categories in this table for the shipment cost typeand the cost type.

  • VI01 - Shipment Costs (combining Deliveries from the Shipment)

    Hello experts
Do you know how to combine (consolidate) the shipment costing line item (VI01) when there are more than one Delivery to the same customer in the Shipment document?
E.g. I have a Shipment with 58 Deliveries and for a specific customer has 2 Deliveries, the Shipment Costing (VI01) must to create just one line item consolidating the 2 Deliveries for that customer, not to split 2 lines (one line for each Delivery).
Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Best regards...
    Marcelo Boccia - SAP SD

    Hi,
As per my best knowledge shipment cost document item is not created based on delivery, it is created from shipment header or shipment stages:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/93/7440ac546011d1a7020000e829fd11/frameset.htm
    Shipment cost items
The items refer either to a shipment header or a shipment stage. The items contain general data for shipment costing and settlement, such as service agent, pricing date and settlement date, tax amount and tax basis as well as organizational data such as company code, plant and purchasing organization.
There is an individual status at item level for each of the shipment costing, account assignment and forwarding to FI functions.
As you can see delivery is not mentioned.
At shipment cost sub-item level you may have deliveries.
Isn't it possible that your deliveries belong to different stages? Is any related development in your system?
Please check your shipment and report us on the result.
    Thanks,
    Csaba

    Guys
    This is the right question:
    - I would like to know if there is a customizing in order to do that or if would be a good idea to use an User-Exit or BADi.
    I found these objects:
    User-Exits:
    V54B0001      Shipment Costing: Configure pricing
V54B0003      Shipment Costs Calculation: Determine Rate Type and Currency
V54B0004      Shipment Costs Calculation: Determine Status
    V54C0001      Shipment Costing: Description(s) shipment cost item(s)
V54C0002      Shipment Costing: Create shipment cost sub-items
V54C0003      Shipment Costs Processing: Determine Invoicing Party
V54C0004      Shipment Costs Processing: Determine Loc. for Tax Invoice
V54D0001      Shipment Costing: Determining the Tax Countries
V54KSFRC      Determining the factors for apportionment of shipment costs
V54P0001      Extended Function Codes for Shipment Cost Information
V54U0001      Shipment Cost processing: Check whether changes made
V54U0002      Check shipment costs for completion
V54U0003      Specification of shipment cost number
V54U0004      Formatting for update of new objects (shipment costs)
V54U0005      Updating new objects in shipment cost processing
V54U0006      Shipment Purchase Order - Header Data Supply
V54U0007      Shipment Purchase Order - Item Data Supply
    BADIs:
BADI_SCD_ACCTG          Call During Shipment Cost Account Assignment
BADI_SCD_CREATE          When Generating a Shipment Costs Document
BADI_SCD_CREATE_CHCK     For Checks When Creating a Shipment Costs Document
BADI_SCD_PO_SELECT          Call for the Purchase Order Item Determination
BADI_SCD_PROCESS_CHK     For Checks During Shipment Costs Processing
BADI_SCD_SAVE          When Saving Shipment Costs Documents
BADI_SCD_TRANSFER          For Transferring Shipment Cost Items
Unhappily I don't know the right object to use...

  • Re: Shipment Cost configration and settings

    Hi
Can any one send me <b>configuration and setting of shipment cost and settlement</b> of shipment cost.
    E mail id: [email protected]
    Points will be rewarded.
    regards
    Prasanna R

    Hi Raju,
Please find below the complete doc on Shipment Cost:
Shipment cost in shipping contains create the shipment cost doc., process the shipment, monitor the shipment, calculate the shipment and settle the shipment.
Shipment cost doc. contains calculate the shipment, assign to accounting, transfer to FI and settle the shipment cost.
Shipment cost doc. divided into header, item and sub item data.
We need to assign transportation planning point to com. code to calculate and settle the shipment cost.
    1. Define date rules:- In this IMG activity you define the date rules that determine which dates are chosen for determining the pricing date and the settlement date and the sequence in which they are accessed. The dates can be, for example, the end of transportation planning or the start of lading.
    2. Define and assign tariff zones:-In this IMG activity, you define the tariff zones and assign postal code areas to the tariff zones for each organizational key. The tariff zones are represent geographical influencing factors during the calculation of shipment costs.
    3. Define no. ranges for shipment cost:-In this IMG activity you define the number interval for the shipment cost documents. When creating a shipment cost document, a unique number is generated. The number comes from the number range that you create in this menu point as the internal number range.
You can also create an external number range. The option to specify a number from the external number range when creating the shipment cost document is, however, not currently supported.
    4. Shipcost types and item cat.:-In this IMG activity, you define the shipment cost types and item categories that contain all important control features for the shipment cost document, such as:
    Number range
Status requirements for the shipment documents
    Parameters for shipment costing
    Parameters for shipment settlement
5.shipcost relevance and default for shipcost types:-In this IMG activity you assign the shipment cost types to the shipment types and set an indicator to show whether the cost type is relevant to shipment costing. You do this for every cost type in every shipment type. .
    Example
For the 'individual shipment' shipment type, you set the indicator for the cost types shipment header and leg, but not for the cost types border crossing or load transfer point. You also assign a shipment cost type to the shipment type. When you create a shipment cost document, this shipment cost type is determined automatically.
    6. Settlement:-
Certain control elements must be maintained for calculating shipment costs with the transportation service agent and for forwarding of shipment costs to FI and CO.
you can maintain these control elements and carry out the corresponding assignments.
    -- Assign purchasing data
    --maintain acc. assignment cat.
    --automatic G/L acc. determination
    --automatic determination of CO assignments
    --invoices and credit memos
    A2. Shipment cost:
The process of calculating the shipment costs for a shipment.
    Shipment costs:
The total costs involved in the shipment of a product. Not just pure freight costs, but also cleaning costs, insurance, and other costs as well

Step1: T.Code: VL01N: Just Create Delivery Note here. Do not do the Picking and Packing.
    (This is Client Specific)
    Step 2: T.Code: VT01N: Create Shipment.
Here mention your Transportation Point and Shipment Type you Configured for this and Click on deliveries ICON.
    GO to W.ref to
Outbound Delivery : Give your Delivery Number that you created earlier for this shipment and F8( Excute)
Then Select the Delivery and Click on Overview
Here Click on Planning then automatically Route( If route determination is done) and Vendor Number get generated and Save the Data.
Step.3: T.Code: VL02N: Change Delivery. Here give the Delivery no and
Do picking, Packing (If necessary) and PGI.

  • Shipment cost per shipment

    Hi,
My user requiremnt is they want one time cost per shipment irrespetive of number of deliveries in the shipment. They are using one condition type for his .While vi01 cost should come once per shipment but i have done some changes the cost is coming to each delivery associated to the shipment.could you please assist.
    Reagrds,
    Debesh

    Hi Debesh,
First of all, check your item category used into VI01. E.g. if you go to T_56 trx. check
how it is defined it. e.g. 0002 item linked to shipment type 0001 -> the origin of this item is "shipment header"
(rec. indicator) this setting characterizes the reference to which a shipment costs item refers.
Besides, as my colleagues told, condition type (t_06) and calculation basis defines how costs are based on..

  • Hoe to split a shipment Cost per Distance

    Hello
    I have the following scenario:
2 Deliveries in a Shipment Document with the same route.
I have created a condition record for distance. For example: USD 1,00 per Mile and I have 1000 MI in my route so the system will calculate USD 1000
But I need to split these 1000 USD for each delivery, for example USD 500,00 for each one.
But when I am creating the Ship Cost the system is doubling my ship cost creating a document with USD 2000,00 being USD 1000 for each delivery.
How can I make to the system split my freight per distance?
    Thanks
    Marcos

    Hi,
If I understand your problem correctly, in your calculation base for the condition type defined, you could maintain as "Shipment Cost Item" (cost determined for a Leg), and you can distribute the cost to each delivery in a shipment by maintaining cost distribution as "Delivery".
    Hope the above helps.
    Thanks.

  • Shipment Cost - Pricing Procedure

    Hi,
We have several ways to calculate our shipment cost:
1> Per route (fixed rate) regardless of quantity
2> Per route -> fixed rate per quantity
3> Per route -> fixed rate per quantity with discount per material
4> Per leg -> shipment doc may have two legs (passing by a transfer point) point A to point B, fixed rate (#1), while point B to point C, quantity rate (either #2 or #3)
Can you let me know how to set-up in the system? 4 condition types? Should I have 4 pricing procedure for each? Should I have 4 shipment cost document? 4 Shipment types?
How to set-up in the system such that from the shipment document, I can display comparisons (if #1 or #2) option is cheaper ...  At the moment, it does not prompt me comparisons.. when i click the freight cost estimate button, it gives me the value directly...
    Thanks,

    Hi,
in shipment maintain 2 stages e.g.
Departure point A to point B
Point B to Destination Point C
Also in shipment cost type>>>Idefine team categories(0001)>>>Maintain distribution as "A"(shipment cost item)
Now create Shipment cost document by VI01, Here you will find 2 iteams( 1 is A to B and 2 is B to C),now for first you can maintain fixed price and for second you can mainatian on base of quantity.
Make appropriate calculation base in condition types.
    If any problem revert back.
