I used to install the rEFIt to boot with win7. When I deleted win7, I didn't uninstall rEFIt. Nothing wrong with it. One day after I watched movie in full screen,I pressed esc to quit. I took it to a service center in China, they told me the CPU had broken. SInce it's one month out of warranty, they wanted to charge me for like $250....
I really don't think that's CPU's problem. I checked the history, it seems like somebody else also had the problem before.

Impossible, there are zero, as in none, zip, nadda viruses for OS X. If you have viruses on it they are for MS Windows and will not affect OS X. I suspect the hard disk has crashed, if you have backup then it's not a big deal to have it changed, just take it into your local Apple Store or AASP for service. If you have not been backing it up you may be in for a painful lesson on why backup is critical.

Paragraph style unselects each time i hit enter

I'm batteling a really annoying problem with CS4. When I start typing in a new document, it defaults to the Basic Paragraph as it's supposed to. But EVERY time I hit enter, it defaults to the font selected in the toolbar and ignores the Basic Paragraph rules. How do I fix this?

Perhaps, for the Basic Paragraph style, the Next Style is set to [No Paragraph Style] rather than [Same style].

See if this fixes it. Reboot and let the iPad start up, then try to power down.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

That's simply not possible I'm afraid. You'd need to give them their own account and allowance or make it so you are required to be there to input the password when they wish to make a purchase.

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'

The verification email will have been sent to the email account that you put as the primary email address on the account - log into that email account as you usually do and you should have an email from Apple.

The wifi available in the building I live in requires you to accept a user agreement each time you log on (obviously Apple TV does not have the option to display a browser webpage, so is there any other way to connect my Apple TV to the wifi??

Hi guys,
I cannot get my Apple TV to connect to the only available wifi connection in my building.
Basically when I log on to it with other devices you have to type in a password (like all wifi connections) but then it opens a browser window with a user agreement that you have to accept each time you log on. Since Apple TV does not have a browser option I can't log it on.
Is there anyway around this issue???
Or is there anyway to get content from my iPad to display on my Apple TV without an Internet connection on the Apple TV???

I have an IMAC, Mountain Lion. Each time I open my mail, a message box appears with the message Mail can't connect to the account "Google", followed by Enter the password for the user *****@gmail.com. The full account that appears is an account that I had previously deleted. I cannot prevent the message box from appearing. What do I have to tweak in order for this annoying box to keep reappearing. I have deleted everything I know of in Google mail and my IMAC mail. Thanks for any feedback

From the Mail menu bar, select
Window ▹ Connection Doctor
Look for the unwanted SMTP (outgoing mail) account in the window that opens. Double-click it. Another window will open, showing a list of all the outgoing mail accounts. The unwanted one will be selected. Click the minus-sign button to delete it, then click OK.
If there's more than one unwanted account, repeat.
