I just bought a new earpods from 24 hours only for my ipad from the duty free in Dubai and now open to try it then I found that the left side sound is lower than the right one. So i need to know how to solve this problem while am in Egypt now?

Your Apple Earpods are covered under the same warranty as your iPhone 5, so I would recommend for you take them to your local Apple Store (might want to bring your phone as well so they can check your warranty) and have the Geniuses there examine and exchange them.

IPod touch audio issue: why do I only get sound from one channel in my ear-pods?

After upgrading my brand new iPod touch 5th generation to IOS 6.1.2 I only get sound from the right channel of my ear-pods.
I did not have this issue with IOS 6.1.1. Is this a problem derived from new IOS? Any idea on how to solve it?

Have you tried other headphones? If you confirmned it is an iPod problem:
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

Iphone 5 ear pods

My iPhone5 was used to test a new speaker I bought today, since then it only plays the left side of my ear pod, I have tried lots of different, and the problem still persists. what is the problem ?
The second issue i have is that the home button makes a ughy clicking noise as i try to use it.

First, try a reset: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

New Ear Pods

Am I the only one interested in the new Ear Pods? The previous ones never worked for me. They didn't fit right. would hurt, or would always fall out. The new design looks like it will fit better hopefully. We'll see come October.

I have real problems with the ones that actually fit into your ear canal. They were either extremely uncomfortable for me or just plain wouldn't stay in. The old earbuds would fall out all the time.
The new ones are much nicer and sound substantially better to me. For $29 they're hard to beat.

Button not working on ear pods

I bought a new pair of Apple Ear Pods four months ago, and they have been great. Then, for no apparent reason, the button stopped working. The audio is perfect, but I can't use the button to play/pause, change volume, and the microphone is also not working. Besides that, they look brand new, but although the button clicks, my phone doesn't recieve the input. I also tried it with another iPhone and an iPad. I hadn't interacted with them in any way between the time I last used the button successfully. Does anyone know what could have caused this, or if it's possible to fix?

Why don't you bring them in to Apple for them to look at? If there's a manufacturing defect, they'll likely be replaced.

My right ear pod is not making as much noise as the left ear pod

With no damage at all to the head phones, one of the ear pieces is not working as good as the other. In this case left is louder than right. Before this pair of ear pods I had the same issue with the pair before, except that time, it was my left not making as much noise. I'm sure it's in properly and there is no damage, but why has the headphone gotten worse!?

connect the headset to a computer or another device which have a mini jack connector like the iphone
to see if the issue is there too
and or connect another mini jack headset (most headsets are) to the phone
one or both of these 2 things should show you if your headset or your phone is broken
warrenty covered everthing in the box phone and headset

Ear pods

When testing out my ear pods with my iPhone 5, i notice that the right side seems to short out. I can turn the plug into the phone a little and the sound will go in and out. It also makes a cracking noise in the headphones.
Anyone else having this issue?

Having the same issue with my iPhone 4 (brand new) - if I hold the plug in and to the left it plays in both ears, otherwise just the left ear. Headphones work perfect in my iPad.

HT3458 Why don't they allow the apple ear pods to work with this shuffle?

I have a third gen iPod shuffle that I love, but the old apple earphones kill my ears. They should update either the iPod or the ear pods to work together.

Have you ever found a product that always works and never fails for anyone? I sure haven't. Things always break for various reasons and usually it isn't the manufacturer's fault. I can see why you are upset, I'm not faulting you for that, but the bulk of ipods out there work fine, otherwise apple would not still be making them nor would people buy them.
