Earbuds don't fit

I recently purchased a new fifth-gen iPod (first one), but find that the earbuds constantly fall out of my ears. Is there a trick to keeping them in? Are there better choices out there if these standard ones don't fit my ears?

I have some experience with the sound-insulating type earbuds.
Shure is one of the better sets, but they're a bit pricey. Being that I'm in construction and often wear my phones at work, I'm not gonna risk messing up a pair of those.
Sony and JVC make a similar set of headphones, with silicone pieces that shape themselves to your ear, and block out most outside noise very well. They give you different size silicone pieces as well for different size ears.
I've been through probably 3 pairs of Sony's, and this is my second pair of JVC's (going back around 3 years). The Sony's sound a bit better, but for me they haven't been reliable enough. 2 of the 3 pairs I had went bad for seemingly no reason at all, one day one of the ears just stopped working and that was that. And on the first pair of Sony's I had, the rubber on the cord just disintigrated (but I think they fixed that problem).
The JVC's, on the other hand, have taken quite a beating and still work well. Granted they don't have quite the same bass as the Sony's, but I'm not going to keep blowing $35 every few months for phones that are going to crap out for no reason. (The JVC's are about $35 too)
And as far as comfort goes, you get used to them real quick. Sometimes I wear keep them in without any music on just to block out the rest of the world (i.e. during the commute or at work). The cord behind the head thing works well too, especially at work.

Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

probably your zoom is on. try double tapping with three fingers on your screen, it should go back to normal and then goto
settings>general>accesibility>zoom and disable it

Characters are cut off when they don't fit in the pdf report output.

I understand that Forms 6i and Oracle 9 iAS have been de-supported for years. Meanwhile we do still run a small application in the 9 iAS environment.
We have forms and reports running on Windows 2000 server, I am able to successfully clone the same 9 iAS from Windows 2000 to a Virtual Server Windows 2003 x32 and all runs fine, the only problem is that the fonts in the pdf reports are larger in the new Windows 2003 environment as compared to the original Windows 2000 and characters are cut off when they don't fit in the pdf report output in 2003 env.
Any advice is most appreciated.

It is not an iOS 6 issue. The screen of the iPhone 5 has more pixels tall than other iPhones and the app was not made for that screen size. You will have to wait for the developer to update the app to support the iPhone 5 (and 5G iPod touch) screen size

Old Headphones don't fit iphone

I have a pair of Sennheiser PX 100 headphones which I had been using with my ipod video. But they don't fit the iphone jack. Are there adaptors out there for this sort of problem.

What kind of adapter is actually needed?

Software windows don't fit in windows 7 window

I am helping a friend try to resolve a problem. Suddenly, the windows for her software (Word, Publisher, etc) don't fit in the Windows 7 window. Not sure how else to describe it. If a Word window is fully expanded, the bottom fall underneat the taskbar at the bottom so you can't get to where you'd slide to resize the view, or where it displays page x of x, etc. If we reduce the size of the window, we can move it up enough to see the bottom, but then loose part of the top.
The resolution of the display is at 100% (though she usually keeps it at 125, but I tried changing that first and it didn't work).
How can we resolve this?

Please post the full product number for your notebook. With that I can post a link to the correct drivers page for that device. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
From how you describe it, it is likely that the screen resolution is off, or the video driver is not correct, and the display is in more of a pan and scan type of mode. You can start with the following page, but as I mentioned it may also be a driver issue.

I just dicovered, that original Nokia box 5500d Music edition phone headset HS-29 don't fit with box Audio Adapter AD-45 It is original in complectation
If joint is fully put in socket, phone don't show headset connection. If joint is leaved some 0.5mm out, then headset works just normally. But when whalking, connection like this isn't very stable. I tried to take picture of it, but this isn't so great:

Error CustomerSelfBillingInd. FollowUpInvoiceRequirementCode don't fit

We are getting this error when a buyer/planner publishes a PO for PO collaboration. It should be sending the XML to ECC to update the order but it is not because the this error. We are able to get confirmations over to ECC for SNC.

Interface was too big, solved that. Now the tools don't fit in the box.

Hey all!
Like some others, I had a problem with the size of the interface. I fixed this by lowering my windows size to 124%. When I started illustrator I was very happy to see that (almost) everything had returned to it's original size.
Now, however, the tools don't seem to have scaled wit the rest of the interface and they don't seem to fit in their box, the same goes for all the other screens. I added a photo to show you what I mean. This happens with every single screen in Illustrator (new file, swatches, type, etc). When using tools, they also show up way too big on my screen (the black cursor, for example, is huge)
How do I solve this?

I also got the new small Ipod Shuffle for my birthday. There is one set of compatable earphones available and they cost more than the Ipod shuffle, and still may not fit. An over the ear model is not available. An adapter was suppose to come out in mid-July but it is still not available. I would also like to use the Ipod Shuffle in my car and again, this is not possible. I'm very disappointed and hurt. My daughter was laid off and used what money she had to get me what she thought was a nice a present. She is profoundly deaf and doesn't understand music or Ipod's other than they are popular and she wanted to do something nice for her Mom. Very dissappointed an adapter is still not available.

Headphones don't fit it completely anymore.

From one day to the next, my headphones stop fitting in. When I look inside, I don't see anything blocking the entry, but there is a part of about 2 mm that doesn't get in. I can't listen to music, plase help.

The headphone plug seems to be too long and narrow for the jack. It easily slips out when I try to plug it in and I hear no sound when it's sitting in there.
The plug's shape is identical to the in-ear headphones that came with my first generation iPhone, which also does not fit. (except my headphones have 2 channels instead of the 3 on the iPhone in-ear set.)
My frustration stems mainly from the fact that no one else seems to have this problem... it's very odd.

I-pod shuffle & e-mac don't fit w/o spending more $$$

i gotta tell ya that i just bought my e-mac in aug 05, so i'm still paying for it....
i live in a college town and every kid here has an ipod! i've been wanting just to get a shuffle since they first came out, cause it's just mainly for using at the gym...so, i finally decided to buy one in jan 06---big decision for me! $99 is still a chunk-o-change in my book! and the **** things NEVER GO ON SALE!! i hate that, cause i always buy on sale or clearance.(i'm not that cheap, just poor)
then my e-mac says that there is nothing on the i-pod installer disc! and i just kept trying to get the little shuffle to plug into the usb port on the side of the computer--it just stuck out at an angle, which looked wrong to me but where else would the **** thing go....
i am not a computer junkie and don't spend hours online or anything like that, so i didn't know what to do, so i just tried it again a few times over the weeks ahead....finally, i got in touch with an apple guy thru support and he types to me that the shuffle won't charge on the e-mac and that i would have to BUY a seperate port-thing to plug into the e-mac and it would charge the shuffle......how in the **** is a normal person supposed to know this! i get so frustrated trying to understand how all this crap works!
like i said, i'm still paying for the **** computer and now i have to spend more money to get something for the i-pod shuffle to work with it!! I'M SO ANGRY, FURIOUS, AND RAGING MAD THAT APPLE COULDN'T JUST MAKE ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS TO WORK TOGETHER! and then to top that all off, Target just put the i-pod shuffle on sale for $69......story of my freaking life!

Gee ... maybe the eMac preceded the Shuffle?
The User's Manual and multiple other places all point out that the Shuffle won't fit into all ports on all computers. It also points out that you need a high-power USB port in order to charge the Shuffle, which the ones on the keyboard (the only one you can fully plug into) are not.
The Shuffle will charge on an eMac, in the high-power USB ports on the side, but it will not fit into those ports. Neither would it fit into those ports on my G3 iMac, which I was using when I first got the Shuffle. Nor will it fit into a lot of other platforms.
You need to get a Dock, for about $30, or get a short USB extension cable, for about $3. That's all you need.
You can in fact plug your Shuffle into the keyboard ports on the eMac, assuming you're at least updated into later versions of Panther, and it will work there. You can mount it, use it as a Disk there, move music in and out of it ... everything except charge it. To do that, again, you need to plug it into the side ports.

IMovie Titles Don't Fit on TV

Often, when I create a title in iMovie, the width of the title does not fit the TV screen (it is too wide) when I burn it to DVD. However, I don't know that until the DVD is burned.
For example, when I try to use the Music Video title, which is justified left, the left side of the title is cut off after I burn the DVD. Also, the Show TV Safe Area option on iDVD does not help because that only applies to themes, etc and does not help me with titles in the middle of the film.
Is this just my TV? I have not tried it on others. If not, is there some way I can detect in either iMovie or iDVD whether the titles will fit?
