Earlier I was able to use stored passwords and autocomplete user ID for websites, but now I am not able to use them. I need help to solve this problem.

For quite a long time, I was being provided with my complete user ID when I typed first character of User ID and my password would also come up automatically when I click my cursor in the Password window. on most of the websites that I frequently visited. But now I am not able to visit those websites in the same way. Now I have to type in both the complete user ID and password and then only I can log in onto those websites. Can you suggest me how can I change the settings so that I am able to use my browser in the same way I used to earlier?

Did you check the settings to make sure that the Password Manager is enabled?
*Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Remember passwords for sites"
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode.

The iPod's firmware is corrupt. You'll need to restore it again in iTunes. If necessary, place the iPod in recovery mode for iTunes to recognize the device. Use the instructions in this Apple support document to walk you through the process of placing the iPod Touch into recovery mode.

The 'x' might not show on their top left corner (it might be invisible), but clicking where it should be should hide the app.

Hard Drive: The Hard Drive is on my camera (Sony Handycam)
Just needed some info on what is going on with your particular system.
Knowing the exact camera model will also assist us.
If this camera is standard AVCHD you should be able to connect with USB to Mac with FCE open and use Log and Transfer without all the fiddling around converting etc.
What FCE does during ingest is convert files to AIC. (Apple Intermediate Codec)
FCE cannot read the individual files in the BDMV folder, that's why all the converting is required when you use that method.
BTW: regards formatting drives/cards/memory on cameras; it is wise to use the actual device to format rather than a computer. This is a prime cause of read/write goof ups with solid state media. This applies to still or video cameras.
Keeping the COMPLETE card/memory structure in tact is vital for successful transfers.

Numbers files are not compatible with MS Excel. To share a Numbers file with Excel you need to export you Numbers file in MS Excel format. To do this:
1) Open you Numbers document
2) select the menu item "File > Export..."
3) select "Excel" for the target output
4) click next and select where to save the file.
5) email the file you saved

Looks like you have to upgrade to at least 7.8.2.16.

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..

I accidentally paused two movie rentals that were "processing", as it was saying on each one, under the ipad rentals section of Videos. Now I'm not able to continue to download them.

Now, when i put one of these videos playing, they run a moment until it says "Unable to load video", and then closes the movie window.
How can i download them again?

Update: I tried the "Toshiba Recovery Wizard" after everything else either fizzled out or hung up. After going all the way thru the recovery process (up to 100%), I finally got an error message.....it didn't work. And now, when I fire up the computer, I don't even get to that menu with the recovery options....the only thing I can boot into is the screens with the various ways to run your OS (in "safe mode", "safe mode with networking", etc).
I'm not a techie, but I'm guessing at this point, the part of my hard drive that got damaged in the fall was, at the very least, the partition with the recovery data. Couple that with the fact that this cheapo Toshiba laptop didn't even come with recovery disk (or ANY kind of disk, even basic installation software!), I'm screwed: I don't see any way to get a workable computer now without some kind of disk to boot from. So NOW my concern is more about spending the $$ for a new OS and THEN finding out the hard drive has other problems too...is broken in some other way to boot.
How to check this? As I said, I did run "chkdsk" back when I could get into the recovery menu and run the fix-it programs. It didn't note any problems. Thinking of taking this opportunity to upgrade to Windows 7 from Vista (which I never liked), but I have to know that the computer is otherwise ok....how to be sure?

When you download past purchases on an iOS device or computer, that device or computer becomes associated with your Apple ID. This article describes how to manage these associations.

Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days.
Note: Removing a device from your Apple ID does not override the 90-day timer. You must wait 90 days from the day the device was first associated with your Apple ID before it can be associated with another Apple ID.
