I have a Gateway GT5058 AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 200GHzw 1.37 GB Ram this computer should be able to handle things well enough! And yes...I have multipul windows open all the time...but my 850 Ghz PIII handles multipul windows with excellence! I'd like to revert back to a previous version..... This browser reminds me of the 80's 486 days! SLOW!!!!!!!!!!

I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it? I don't want to change all my computer's visuals just because firefox has a bug in it! The Menu bar is rendered faintly and this is a bad idea. At least give me the choice . . . see image below. I have vista running ffox 4 and none of the fancy settings can fix this. Also I want transparency on! Most programs work properly. They don't force me to adhere to some idiot programers whims, likes or dislikes.
Of course ranting this way will get me nowhere . . . such is life.

(06 Oct 14) updated firefox and Kaspersky, now have problems with Barclays site - firefox "not responding" and plugin error on trying to close. Help!

Updated Kaspersky to 15.0.0.463(a) - ( comes with "safe money" - now turned off).
Updated Firefox from (old) version to 32.0.3.
Barclays bank site loads properly, and allows access to accounts BUT when I try to look at a statement, Firefox "not responding" and a blank/ unresponsive page is displayed.
In order to acheive any movement I have to close firefox... this gives rise to windows wanting to send error data, and Firefox apologising for loosing the tab.
None of which allows me to do essential banking transactions.
It is this machine that has the problem - I can access without problems via work computer (using google Chrome)

Other times the Wi-Fi connection works fine and it check e-mail or other within few seconds. The connection problems seems to be intermitted
This issue never happened before with IOS 5 since I bought the new phone in Oct 2011.

We suffered the imap.gmail.com server problem After an IoS 6 upgrade. The simple solution is to delete the problem account, shut down the iPad, start up again and reenter the account. Everything comes back normally. Good Luck everyone!

Hello. I can easy remove on Windows FF 29 or FF 30 and its slower on fast computer. But its affected by millions of users. With FF 28 it was allways fast.
Why fast? I dont know but its SLOW Now any version after FF 28.
Since FF 29 FF loads and hangs very very slow each time loading, starting, or changing tabs. It is making problem for everyone and now everyone calls with help- "why computer is slow.. oh its FF? Chrome? Chrome was slow but now its not the slowest one?"
Very colorfull Example- one comp is 10" and its very very very very low specs. So it wont run at all.
Now on small comp we can try linux and FF BUT no matter what OS just couldnt get back with any plugins back normal speed. Since FF 29 its very very very slow and that needs to have a solution. Today came update and still unneded custom menu button and its slowness hasnt been removed (unnoticed) so it needs a fix so it works for people who are not just for browsing internet buying new computer and cant get any faster speed then Chrome since now theres no FF anymore.
SO- How to do that on Windows and Linux- installing FF 28 and making it never upgrade
OR even better- Making a package that already has this update disbled setting ON?
p.s. Should you first ask people how they like slow browsers before making fast one to a slow one?

Many, many times in a session, I get this: Mozilla Firefox (Not Responding). Frustration is setting in when I have to kill the computer, and start all over again. Anger is beginning a slow burn, too.

Since the latest version (don't even ask me) was downloaded and installed, many times in a session when I am browsing the net, or opening a text document or a spreadsheet, flipping back and forth, I'll have to stop and sit for an indeterminate amount of time because up on the header, I'll get the message Mozilla Firefox (Not Responding). When looking down toward the front of the laptop, I note the hard drive is going full bore, whole hog, whatever you want to call it. Sometimes after repeated hitting the "enter" key, the program will catch up, and begin functioning again. Other times, because the program is stuck, the laptop will overheat, causing me to manually shut down, wait a while while the hard drive cools, then restarting. When I have to manually kill the session, I cannot, repeat CANNOT get the machine shutdown programs to work.
What the hell is wrong with Firefox with this crap?

Keep getting firefox not responding for about 2 months now Can any one help me figure out why and fix this?

I'm using windows 7 64 bit system, for past 2 months keep randomly getting firefox not responding. Wait about 10-20 seconds for all tabs to respond.

This is a bad hardware error, Baseband Error. Some have reported getting through this error by Restoring iPhone with the SIM Card removed. Try that. Try restoring with different computer. Search Web some more for other thoughts.

Firefox will not open - it says it has a copy open already - and it does not. This happened after I tried to update to new firefox.

I attempted to upload the new version of Firefox. When I did this - I could not open Firefox at all - a box pops up telling me to '''Close Firefox - a copy of firefox is already open - Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time.''
I tried to remove Firefox completely form the computer and reinstall - and I get the same message.
