I had earphone problem for the all incoming and outgiong calls. Ther was no sound at all, no ring tone, no sound nothing... But the speaker was working normally. when I had kit kat as an update the problem started and soon it was obvious that chrome web browser update was the reason... so rolling back the update corrected the problem and later another update fixed that problem. Now, this -exactly- the same thing happened and guess what, it is chrome update again... settings > programs > chrome > uninstall updates and restart the phone fixed the issue... btw, do not forget to turn auto update off for chrome, go to ply store > my apps > chrome > uncheck autoupdate (at the top right 3 dots) ... hope this helps if you have the same issue...

UPDATE!... The problem is not related to chrome... I am sorry google!... when the problem started to reoccure suddenly, sometimes in the middle of a phone conversation I have checked many different blogs... There were many hardware issues and replaced and/or repaired phones... After seeing a youtube video about the same problem, tried that, - go to xperia diagnostic, test earphone-during earphone test squeeze earphone speaker gently with two fingers (squeeze front face and back face)... sound stops, no sound at all, squeeze it a few more times and the sound is back ) repeat several times, sound in earphone comes on and goes offf.... so, it is definetley a contact problem of the earphone and the mainboard and also it shows a weak structure between front and back facades. means the body flexes and contacts wears off by the time... that is really an upsetting quality regarding a flagship phone from sony (2 years ago)... I am really disappointed espacially watching the same quality problem with z2 and z3.... And also I am too mad to myself for not sending it to the service, because my guarante has finished a week ago ( I will check the repair cost with sony service, if it is considerably high then I am moving to another brand or iPhone...

My iPad just recently stopped outputting sounds through the speaker, but the speaker does work. Notifications, alerts, music, videos, apps; nothing outputs sounds through the speakers. Sound DOES work through headphones and airplay devices. When researching other forum posts, my issue differs in a few ways.
1. The speaker DOES work. When I go into Settings > General > Sounds and move the slider bar at the top for Ringers and Alerts level it outputs sounds through the speaker.
2. When swiping up from the bottom of the screen to display the control center, there are NO controls shown for the volume of the speaker, which there should be.
I have gone through all the possible types of resets including a master reset and backup from iTunes and I am still having the same issue. At this point there are no more reset options or configuration changes that I am aware of to resolve.
Help Please!

Destroyed System Timer App Android Lollipop Xperia Z2

The stock app allows as many timers as you want, where Sony has made it only allow one timer at a time. Meaning everytime I ask google to set a timer it clears my previous timer with no warning.
Also the stock clock app is much cleaner... But that's besides the point. I just would like to be able to get the system app fully functioning again. I used to use the timer app to track the laundry progress, several cooking things, and tasks all at the same time... now I can only choose one thing to use it for and try to remember to reset the timer the second it goes off for the next few minutes and try to remember which things I have going.
Please put it back or remove the app. Otherwise I just end up forgeting that "OK, google" has been crippled and I wipe my timers all the time.

I fixed my nano sound problem. Went to settings, hit center button, scrolled down to reset settings, hit center button, scrolled up to reset and hit center button. Walah, Now earphone jack delivers sound to ear buds like before. AND yes the jack was always plugged in all the way. Simple problem, simple solution.

Portable Wireless Server WG-C10 doesn't stream any audio and some video content after updating phone to Android Lollipop 5.x

The Portable Wireless Server WG-C10 I purchased in 2014 doesn't stream any audio and some video content after updating phone to Android Lollipop 5.x.
The WG-C10 firmware is the last version which is available and the PWS Manager software is the last version available in Google Play Store.
There are no updates for the WG-C10 firmware nor PWS Manager software since 2013 or for Android 5.x (Lollipop) and I don't know if the WG-C10 firmware is the problem or if the PWS Manager software is the problem.
BTW, I am still able to stream this content on my tablet which is on KitKat (4.4.x) so the files are not corrupted. The only problem is with Lollipop.
PWS Manager in the Google Play Store says it supports Android 4.0+ which is no longer true.
The audio file formats which fail to stream are: mp3 and wav
The video file formats which fail to stream are: mp4, avi and 3gp
JPEG Images appear to work fine, but I haven't tried other formats.
I purchased the WG-C10 to stream audio and video primarily to my phone and now that this no longer works, the WG-C10 is useless to me.
Any ideas?

if you created a ringtone, it should appear in the tone menu in itunes.
Is the ringtone 30 seconds or less?
Also I would check the iringer support site to resolve your issue.

Only songs that are physically stored on the iOS device can be deleted with a swipe. Songs that have been listened to, and are in the temporary cache, apparently can not be deleted with a swipe. The easiest way to get rid of these songs is to go to Settings > General > Usage, tap Music (you may need to scroll down in the list), swipe across "all music" then tap the delete button. This will delete ALL music on the device.
Also, iCloud and iTunes Match are not the same service.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again

How long did you let it charge? It may take 30 minutes before the iPad responds when the battery is completely drained. Let it charge for at least 30 minute using the wall charger. Then rest the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is 100%.
If the iPad still does not start make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

After updating my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1.3 no sound will come out from my earphones , the weirded thing is I can function everything from earphones even voice command but no sound will come out I tried the earphones on another device they function great

You say you have no sound in the earphones. Often that is caused by having the earphone plug not in completely. The "little noise" is there even when the earphone is not completely put in. But for sound/music it must be in completely.
