Earphones for my ZEN - I need some adv

Hi there,
I'm thinking about buying a set of earphones for my new ZEN 4GB. The main reason is the original set of earphones uses to fall from my ears and I spend all the day trying to put them correctly in my ears, but any move I make with my head, or any time I run to take the subway, they start to move and/or fall, making necessary start the annoying ritual again and again...
Discarding the option of holding my earphones by nailing them to my head, I need an advice what model you, fans and users of the ZEN, recommend me, just basing in your own experience.
Tip:
I'm looking for earphones from Creative, among the following models: EP-380, EP-550 and EP-570. As you can see, all of themcarry a useful clip to hold them to the ears. Well, and that's the type of earphones I'm looking for. They are just three models, because are the only ones I found in the Spain Creative Store. If you can give me an advice for another model of this type that is not listed here, is also welcome.

I do most of my MP3 listening on public transportation (I've got a 32GB Zen) and since I'm not an audiophile an inexpensi've pair of Panasonic RP-HT2 headphones ($4.99 at J&R Music World) does the trick for me. I like these phones so much that I have a couple of extra pairs, still sealed, as backup should something happen to the ones I'm currently using.

Hi, of the phones you mentioned the N97 will give the best media experience. Now as to the previous post , it is somewhat incorrect. The phones specs are virtually Identical, but run on entirely different operating systems N97 Symbian 60 V5 and N900 Maemo a brand new Linux based operating system, probably much better for web browsing, and superior for flash content. As your interest is in music/video, and you don't want a 'black computer' probably the N97 is still your best bet of the phones you've mentioned. The N900 is as yet not fully tried and tested, but in theory with it's larger phone memory should be better for web browsing and running multiple apps, we'll see. But with v2.0 software my N97 is now running smoothly and working well as a phone and media player, and initial complaints have reduced in number and most problems seem to have been solved. Untill the N900 is truly on-line in numbers it will be hard to judge, and there are already a few problems turning up on this site. Most complex 'smartphones' have faults, check the web, people have problems with iPhone, Sony Erickson just withdrew their latest offering,Samsung has it's critics. It all boils down to personal choice. I think the N97 is now a good phone, plenty of help and advice on trouble shooting, and will improve more with future firmware updates(maybe it should have been launched 'perfect' but it wasn't,neither are other makes) Choose the one you fancy, stick with it and almost any problem you find can usually be solved by researching forums like this.

Spoilt earphones for my Zen 2

My MP3 player is the Creative Zen 20GB available only in Asia.
My earphones are spoilt (the left earphone is able to transmit music now and then). I had my MP3 player replaced in November as the Creative engineers had deemed it as faulty when I brought it for repair. The earphones were not replaced.
Am I able to replace the earphones too?

You'll probably be able to get better quality ones too, and though the Creative ones are rather good, they don't beat other shop ones I'm afraid by some manufacturers, but there not meant to be great since they came free.
They do have rather good bass response though, and the impedence rating is rather low so you don't have to have the volume on as high.
Still though, it might be worth thinking about getting some more of the same in ear type

Feature requests for Edge Code (Was: Needed some options...)

I am a photo retoucher & I am new to web designing & started to learn....
I am very happy to have Edge code CC as a code editor really good program. Thanks to Adobe Team...
It would be better if you provide some more options :-
1. If I type <bl in the Edge code CC it shows me blockquote its fine, but if I press spacebar after <bl accidentally then I press backspace to erase the space but after that it does not shows the code hint....
2. I wrote code <h5> This is a headline </h5> and if I want to change h5 to h3, I have to change in both starting tag and end tag is there any option if I change the start tag it would automatically change in the end tag too....
3.It would be nice if the Edge code CC giving dummy text to add. for ex: lorem impsum like....

How to use Premiere Pro for live shoots (newbie needing some answers)

My school is about to delve into the world of live streaming. We have a homemade Tricaster setup of sorts which allows for us to use three camcorders through as switcher which allows for some nice streaming capabilities.
My question is, how do I use Premiere Pro, or something else, to run live titles/graphics, etc. into the production? You know, things like lower thirds, etc.?
Is this as simple as running another computer into a source on the switcher? If so, how do I get the graphics etc. to appear as simple key pages?
Sorry, I've never used Adobe during a live shoot before.
I'd love for someone in the know to explain the workflow here. Thank you so much!
I'd also be interested in knowing best practices for running b-roll into the switcher. PP again? Same computer as the graphics or a seperate one?

Installation of MuVo NX driver - need some adv

Hi, everybody, I'm new to this discussion forum.
I just bought a Nomad MuVo NX. According to the manual, I installed the driver CD before inserting the player onto the computer. The installation went smoothly on my PC, and I could download music into the player.
I tried to install the driver on my laptop too, but the auto-run didn't work. I checked the readme file and manually ran CTRun/Ctrun.exe on the installation CD. The st 2 screens were fine, it asked about the country/region and language. But after I select "English", it didn't go to the next page, instead there's only a small box with a check mark in the middle of my screen. It couldn't go any further.
From Windows Task Manager I could see an application called "NOMAD MuVo NX" running, but I don't see the program continuing.
Does anybody have any idea why this happened? Is there anything that I should set? Or is there anything wrong with my laptop? (It seems working fine to me).

You might try taking your OS into clean boot mode and disabling your AntiVirus to make sure that there is nothing that is interfering with the install program. Instructions for how to do this in Windows XP is found at http://support.microsoft.com in article 30353 (search for "Clean Boot XP" to find it). If this doesn't work you may try installing the drivers from www.nomadworld.com. All of the software on the CD is available for download here.

Storage: I got a 32gig iPad for Christmas - I really need some help.

Storage: I got a 32gig iPad for Christmas, and literally I am already down to 2 gigs of storage left. I believe my iPad is a 4th generation, and currently on my device I only have a 10 apps, 6 photos, 3 personal family videos 10mins in length each, and about 10 disney channel tv shows for my kids. I also have my work email, but I set it to only go back two weeks.
I am not sure what I am doing to eat through this much space so quickly. I realized after downloading 4 tv shows for my daughter I was getting HD, so I did change the other 6 to SD which I know takes less space. However it hasn't really helped. Recently I started using the camera to take a few short movies of my kids 3 videos about ten mins in length each and that ate through space in no time.
My iPad is 32gigs but really only started with 28 gigs capacity.
Is there something I can do? Am I doing something wrong? Sorry I am not the most technically inclined, but a co-worker of mine has an older iPad with thousands of pics, hundreds of songs, plenty of movies, at least 20 apps, etc and her 32 gig iPad still has 12 gigs left. She has WAY more stuff on hers than mine.

Ok. Do you know if I delete a show from iTunes on my device can I still redownload it for free? Seems that 13.7 gigs taken up are those disney channel shows. If I delete them I can always just redownload them no?

"Waiting for activating, this may take some time" appears

I have a problem, everytime i turn on my Ipad, it appears " waiting for activation, this may need some time" then i choose dismiss, Ipad works normally, but the sentences that appear are disturbing. What should I do? How to activate Ipad since there is no option to activate athough i have plugged it into itunes many times? I live and use my ipad in Indonesia. Any of you know the solution? Is it because i live in Indonesia and i use Indonesian itunes account? Thanks

If you have the 3G version of the iPad and haven't purchased a 3G data plan, go to Settings > Cellular Data and turn cellular data off to stop the messages.

Klipsch generally has very good sound quality. Any of their systems will work. Logitech also sounds good, but more often has bigger bass over sound quality.

I do this all the time, I put my MBP to a 60 inch Sharp. If you have the video working do the simple thing first. Check to make sure your sound is on your TV and Mac. Then if that doesn't work go to System Prefrences and under sound go to a tab called Output and see if your TV is listed and if it is change it to that setting

If you use the Apple TV for something else or turn it off it will erase whatever is on it's drive. If you are going to download content for later viewing you might consider doing it on the computer, downloads don't disappear until they expire and you can watch them as many times as you want.

Need some help in creating Search Help for standard screen/field

I need some help in adding a search-help to a standard screen-field.
Transaction Code - PP01,
Plan Version - Current Plan (PLVAR = '01'),
Object Type - Position ( OTYPE = 'S'),
Click on Infotype Name - Object ( Infotype 1000) and Create.
I need to add search help to fields Object Abbr (P1000-SHORT) / Object Name (P1000-STEXT).
I want to create one custom table with fields, Position Abb, Position Name, Job. Position Abb should be Primary Key. And when object type is Position (S), I should be able to press F4 for Object Abb/Object Name fields and should return Position Abbr and Position Name.
I specify again, I have to add a new search help to standard screen/field and not to enhance it.
This is HR specific transaction. If someone has done similar thing with some other transation, please let me know.
There is no existing search help for these fields. If sm1 ever tried or has an idea how to add new search help to a standard screen/field.
It's urgent.

A search help exit is a function module for making the input help process described by the search help more flexible than possible with the standard version.
This function module must have the same interface as function module F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE. The search help exit may also have further optional parameters (in particular any EXPORTING parameters).
A search help exit is called at certain timepoints in the input help process.
Note: The source text and long documentation of the above-specified function module (including the long documentation about the parameters) contain information about using search help exits.
Function modules are provided in the function library for operations that are frequently executed in search help exits. The names of these function modules begin with the prefix F4UT_. These function modules can either be used directly as search help exits or used within other search help exits. You can find precise instructions for use in the long documentation for the corresponding function module.
During the input help process, a number of timepoints are defined that each define the beginning of an important operation of the input help process.
If the input help process is defined with a search help having a search help exit, this search help exit is called at each of these timepoints. If required, the search help exit can also influence the process and even determine that the process should be continued at a different timepoint.

1. SELONE
Call before selecting an elementary search help. The possible elementary search helps are already in SHLP_TAB. This timepoint can be used in a search help exit of a collective search help to restrict the selection possibilities for the elementary search helps.
Entries that are deleted from SHLP_TAB in this step are not offered in the elementary search help selection. If there is only one entry remaining in SHLP_TAB, the dialog box for selecting elementary search helps is skipped. You may not change the next timepoint.
The timepoint is not accessed again if another elementary search help is to be selected during the dialog.
2. PRESEL1
After selecting an elementary search help. Table INTERFACE has not yet been copied to table SELOPT at this timepoint in the definition of the search help (type SHLP_DESCR_T). This means that you can still influence the attachment of the search help to the screen here. (Table INTERFACE contains the information about how the search help parameters are related to the screen fields).
3. PRESEL
Before sending the dialog box for restricting values. This timepoint is suitable for predefining the value restriction or for completely suppressing or copying the dialog.
4. SELECT
Before selecting the values. If you do not want the default selection, you should copy this timepoint with a search help exit. DISP should be set as the next timepoint.
5. DISP
Before displaying the hit list. This timepoint is suitable for restricting the values to be displayed, e.g. depending on authorizations.
6. RETURN (usually as return value for the next timepoint)
The RETURN timepoint should be returned as the next step if a single hit was selected in a search help exit.
It can make sense to change the F4 flow at this timepoint if control of the process sequence of the Transaction should depend on the selected value (typical example: setting SET/GET parameters). However, you should note that the process will then depend on whether a value was entered manually or with an input help.
7. RETTOP
You only go to this timepoint if the input help is controlled by a collective search help. It directly follows the timepoint RETURN. The search help exit of the collective search help, however, is called at timepoint RETTOP.
8. EXIT (only for return as next timepoint)
The EXIT timepoint should be returned as the next step if the user had the opportunity to terminate the dialog within the search help exit.
9. CREATE
The CREATE timepoint is only accessed if the user selects the function "Create new values". This function is only available if field CUSTTAB of the control string CALLCONTROL was given a value not equal to SPACE earlier on.
The name of the (customizing) table to be maintained is normally entered there. The next step returned after CREATE should be SELECT so that the newly entered value can be selected and then displayed.
10. APP1, APP2, APP3
If further pushbuttons are introduced in the hit list with function module F4UT_LIST_EXIT, these timepoints are introduced. They are accessed when the user presses the corresponding pushbutton.
Note: If the F4 help is controlled by a collective search help, the search help exit of the collective search help is called at timepoints SELONE and RETTOP. (RETTOP only if the user selects a value.) At all other timepoints the search help exit of the selected elementary search help is called.
If the F4 help is controlled by an elementary search help, timepoint RETTOP is not executed. The search help exit of the elementary search help is called at timepoint SELONE (at the
F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE
This module has been created as an example for the interface and design of Search help exits in Search help.
All the interface parameters defined here are mandatory for a function module to be used as a search help exit, because the calling program does not know which parameters are actually used internally.
A search help exit is called repeatedly in connection with several
events during the F4 process. The relevant step of the process is passed on in the CALLCONTROL step. If the module is intended to perform only a few modifications before the step, CALLCONTROL-STEP should remain unchanged.
However, if the step is performed completely by the module, the following step must be returned in CALLCONTROL-STEP.
The module must react with an immediate EXIT to all steps that it does not know or does not want to handle.

I need some help resizing my images on PS6. I am using a mac and have been trying to resize with same resolution and constaining proportions but for some reaseon the smaller resized image appears pizelated. Heres an image of before and after. The first image I use is a JPG 72dpi 1500px x1500px and I want to downsize it to 600x600px same res, but it keeps pixelating, this has never happened before. Any suggestions, thoughts?

I wouldn't say pixelated; more like blurry.
Like ConnectedCreative said, what steps are you using? Are you using "bicubic sharper" when resizing down?
