I'm an old codger who finds the white earphones that I was given with the N70 too loud.Is there a darker,like black, version that you can buy?

If you look at search soundwise earphones on google they have good selection of earphones. They also give free adapter to work with Nokia phones if you ask them. The use the Soundwise G4 with my N70.

Well if the built in wallet isn't going to make a comeback then its about time someone created a replacement that could be purchased that did the same things (and perhaps more). Like the fact that notes in the wallet are time and date stamped so u know when u made them. I've tried several of the wallet applications out there and none are very good.

Converting Images For the N70

Just installed lastest version of PC Suite and when I try to select the N70 from the drop-down list to contunue the image transfer process - the N70 isn't listed! GREAT!
Does anyone know which other in the list has same pic dimensions as my N70 so I can create desktops the right size???

Nokia Sensor for the N70, N80, N90 - when will it ...

I know this is dicussed in part in other topics but I'd like to start a topic specifically for Nokia Sensor on the N70, N80 and N90 series of phones. Use this topic to plead, beg and otherwise bribe Nokia into getting Nokia Sensor developed and released for this series of phones. Moderators, please can you tell us anything you know about when this application will be available or what it's current development state is. Cheers, Richard.

Creating ringtones for the n70 with itunes

the pc suite doesn't seem to like my itunes files - when i click on a file, i get as far as the album title, but the individual songs don't show up on screen. i'm not very computer literate, so can anyone tell me if i need to convert itunes files to another format before pc suite will recognise them, or am i just doing something totally wrong?

switched my itunes to mp3 format, put an album on it, same problem. i can't think what's wrong.
the tutorial and the phone manual are exactly no help whatsoever. i don't know why electrical companies bother with manuals at all, the level of assumed knowledge in them is unreal.

Larger fonts for the n70

Can anybody tell me if there is a way to install larger fonts on my N70, i have difficulty in seeing texts without my reading glasses and its not always possible to wear them. thanks

Recommend me Good Earphones for N95

Can sum1 advise me on a good earphones for the N95 (3.5mm Audio Jack). I want the earphones to be loud as N91 or louder lol however u knw on n91 it has the bass effect I would like earphones that is capable of that.

Earphones in and sound comes from both the earphones and the computer speakers

I have a Satellite A665-S6086, part number PSAWOU-02N033, operating Windows 7, 64 bit. I used earphones for the first time recently and was disappointed that sound still came out of the computer's speakers. I thought the internal speakers would "mute" when earphones were plugged in. I read an earlier post of a similar problem and you asked is there was a Realtec Sound Manager. I do have Realtec but I find nothing labeled a "manager." Any help you can give will be appreciated.

Go to Start/Control Panel/Realtek HD Audio Manager. Look in the upper right hand corner of the Realtek window for a very small yellow folder icon. Click on that and make sure the box there is checked that says "Enable popup dialog when device has been plugged in".
Plug in your headphones now and a small window will open with a box labeled "Headphones". Put a check in that box, and click OK. The audio now will be confined to your headphones.

How can I make Apple Earphones be the Input and Output for Audio

I have some older headphones and they aren't compatible with a Mid 2010 (Intel Core i3) 21.5 Inch iMac
Is there some way to make Apple Earphones be the Input and Output for Audio in the iMac
This is a problem for me personally as when I am talking to someone on Skype the iMac picks up the In-built Microphone audio, and yes the headphones I'm using do work straight from the iMac as audio output

The materials in Apple headphones include Neodymium magnets, oxygen-free electrolysis copper wire and a Nickel plated plug
Apple uses Neodymium magnets in their headphones as it is much more magnetic compared to that of a ferrite magnet. This also further enhances the accoustics of sound and preventing any loss of sound. Because of this, you can get the same sound out of Apple headphones as the good ol' circum-aural headphones (image attached).
Oxygen free copper wire is created through electrolysis which is furthermore considered an above average material for headphones, thus ensuring better sound quality. Oxygen free copper wire ensures a faster transfer time (as copper is one of the best conductors) and because of this, allows a faster transfer time, minimising loss. This means the sound quality of the music/sound playing may actually depend more on the quality of the MP3 file than the headphones.
The nickel plated plug used by Apple is a standard connection and joins to a female connection into the iPod (for example) which is also nickel plated. Where gold plated plugs are renowned to transfer more data and superior sound quality when connected to any device. Connecting the same metals during transfer (nickel plated plugs and nickel female connections) ensures optimum sound as the signal will not be jumping different kinds of metal. The lack of gold plating also helps to reduce the cost in manufacturing and to the customer.

Are there earphones for iPod as comfortable as the iPhone's Bluetooth?

This has got to be thee most comfortable earphone I've ever tried - the iPhone's Bluetooth thing by Apple. Does anybody know if there is are earphones usable with the iPod that are as comfortable (and stay in the ear - like the iPhone's one)? The Apple iPod's earphones that come with the iPods always fall out of my ear - they just aren't nearly as well designed as their Bluetooth earphone. Anybody having any leads on this - please please - let me know.

I totally agree! I love the Apple BT headset! My favorite parts are the design of it. It's the only headset that I feel comfortable wearing around and the size if it is incredible! Not to mention how cool it fits into the dock! A magnet! That's insane. And how it shows up in the Apple Phone when it is synced!
I knew Apple would do an incredible job with the design of it, I bought it without thinking about getting the Jawbone... although I have heard some impressive things about the jawbone noise cancellation.
For me, I was disappointed at first with the Apple BT headset. It kept falling out of my ear. Until I put the foam cover on it. Now it stays in securely and comfortably. It's amazing.
For the iPod headset... you can purchase those foam covers from Belkin. As soon as I put those on my iPod earplugs, they stayed in my ear snugly.

If you are looking for more noise isolation in your earbuds, I've heard about the Griffin ear jams

That should help to isolate sound.
These are solutions for using your existing earplugs.
But if you want great noise isolation, you may want to check into some higher end in ear headphones.

And have been happy with them. The jack is one of those low profile that have an angle at the end if them. It wouldn't fit with the iPhone's recessed mini port without the Belkin mini adapter.

Which is the best earphones for running with iphone?

i love the neckband design but haven't found any that work with the iphone that don't need an adapter...usually mini plugs that are straight work but not in all cases so does anyone know of a neckband set that has a straight mini plug? i dont want to mess with an adapter btw....i also do like the earphones with the over the ear clips, but the Nike vapors i have keep breaking...
btw they don't have to have a mic in the headset since i discovered that the mic on the iphone is very sensitive and most folks could hear me just fine with straight earphones for sound and the iphone mic for speaking into (even at a short distance!)

I think these will fit your needs and are perfect for your situation. They work just like the stock headphones but sound better and will not get in the way of your running if they fall out of your ears.

Yes. The iPod Classic does not have a built in external speaker. On the 5G Nano and iOS Devices have built in external speakers.
