Earphones prob

i've bought my zen micro 7 days ago. everything was ok, until today. when i started the music, my earphones made some strange buzzing sound and squeaking. it happens every time i change the track, stop playing or pause... the sound is really annoying:/ it lasts for about 5 seconds, until the micro's hard dri've sto
ps.
i checked other earphones and nothing happened (so it's the creative's earphones, not the micro itself, i think :>). what should i do? do i have to send it to be repaired? do i have to send the player too?

i've already ent a message to the costumers service, but i wanto to know i f someone had the same problem... and sorry for mistakes

If it's just the headphones then hopefully you won't have to send the player back. It's a relati'vely common fault for the headphone socket to fail, but if you've tried other headphones it shouldn't be this.
Do yourself a favour though and buy some better headphones. The ones that come with the player aren't very good. There are many threads with recommendations for others if you search back.

Zen Micro Photo Earphones prob

Hello there,
I bought my Zen Micro Photo 2 months back. No problems so far, but from a week or so I am finding a decrease in volume in the right ear phone. Its considerable enough to identify easily and decent volumes.
I tried using with my own earphones (not creative one which was supplied) and they are working fine, with no difference between left and right.
I connected the creative ear phones to my computer and again noticed the difference in volume between left and right.
Could anyone tell me what the problem is !!! The cable, the connecting end everything looks fine. No breakages nothing.
I also noticed there is decrease in the magnetic power on one of the earphones.
Does the earphone need any cleaning or so?

I have had this happen with some earphones in the past that were dropped a few times. The earphones included with mp3 players tend to be very low priced earphones. If you spend $20-50 for headphones sold separately you will get better sound quality. Search the forum under headphones or earphones to see which ones users feel are the best value(some $20 headphones might have better sound than others that are $30 or $40).

Creative earphones (white earbuds) prob

I just bought the new Muvo Micro N200 52Mb and after less than a month, the two wires from the left and right earphones were going out of the little box that join the wires. I can see now the inside of it with the metal wires, etc.. I can't use them anymore, it would do a electrical disfunction. So I am currently asking creative for the steps I have to take to get a warranty return.
Do u have the same problem?

I recall reading somewhere on the forum that 32 Ohm phones will remove the backlight buzz, so it might be an opportunity to upgrade. Of course, the trade-off is shorter battery life.
On the subject of battery life, I've found that my N200 is using up my batteries at seemingly a much faster rate than the 5 hours on the back of the box. Many of my songs are at 92kbps, and I think I've read before that higher bitrate uses up more juice, so I'm wondering if that have anything to do with the battery depletion.
Not that this problem matters for me personally: I use so many battery-powered gadgets that I've switched over to using NiMHs, so juice depletion really doesn't matter for me. But it'd be nice for others to know if this might be an issue.

How will I determine if the problem is on the earjack or on the earphone?

My earphone sometimes work but sometimes it doesn't...My prob is that usually when I make phonecalls using my earphone, the person I'm talking to can hear me but I cannot hear the person on the other line. The only way for us to talk to each other is to unplug the earphone. I already tried using my sister's earphone but still same problem happens when on her phone, her earphone works fine. I can use the handset and speaker without any problem. Is buying a new earphone a great idea or there is a prob with the earjack and buying a new earphone won't help? Thanks!

IPad goes to shutdown after plugin earphone

today i plugged in my earphone into the ipad, then the ipad goes shutdown with black screen, no impulse...
is here the earphone-port damaged ? or another prob ?

Try a different brand of ear phones. The one's you are using may not be compatible with your iPad.
If a different brand doesn't make a difference, it may be a hardware issue.

Right Earphone is dead

When listening to music on my 5g ipod 30GB, I only can hear something on the left earphone - no sound out of the right one.
If pressing the earphone to the back it works. Tested with 3 earphones. Thought about a bad contact.
Can you help me, or do I must send my iPod back to apple?

I would advice to take following steps,
1) Try any other working headphones, from any of your friends etc. and try using it on ur iPod. It would help you find wether the problem is in headphones or the iPod, as far as i see it should most probably be in the headphones.
2). If its the headphones, the solution is very simple. Go to apple iPod's site, there's link for complaining about the small parts which can be replacced for urself. Lodge ur complaint about the headphones and the apple guys will send a new working headphones, and send a box to take back the old defective headphones set.
3.) If its the iPod, depending if you bought it from a apple store, take it back and show it to them. They will easily replace it on the spot. If you bought it online, from apple site, make a complain they will send a collection box to take your iPod, check the prob and send you a replacement iPod if your complaint is genuine.
Sorry dont about iPods bought from other sources.
But as far as my experience goes, apple has a very good support for the video iPod especially service of any defective parts.

My apps dance open and close on their own in my IPad 2 what can be the prob? I have already restored

I got the charger flex or pin changed and now the apps dance on the screen, photos open and zoom in, then out, the other apps open and close. I have already restored the device with Itunes and prob is still there. What can be the problem? Any suggestion will be welcome. Thank you

THANKS for your prompt reply Bluetooth is off in my laptop and IPhone.. and in fact the reset is the only thing that can make it back to normal. But for a lil while. I wonder if it is the touch, or the home botton... both things are very expensive to replace, so I wouldn't like to spend $$ and continue having the prob.....

Yes there genuine apple earphones I have now blown down jack slot and silly enough I turned my phone off and now it's back on earphones working properly now feeling a wee but silly as such a simple thing got them working.

DECODE only works on rows returned from the database. If there are no rows, DECODE has nothing to work on.
Consider:

ISE 1.2 - Multiple NICs/Load Balancing for DHCP Probe

Hello guys
Just prepping an ISE 1.2 patch 8 setup in our organization. I am going for the virtual appliances with multiple NICs. It will be a distributed deployment with 4 x PSNs behind a load balancer and there is no requirement for wireless or guest user at the moment. I've got 2 points I will like to get some guidance on:
Our DC has a dedicated mgmt network and I plan to IP the gig0 interface of the PANs, MNTs and PSNs from this subnet. All device admin, clustering, config replication, etc will be over this interface. However, RADIUS/probe/other user traffic to the ISE PSNs will be over the gig1 interface which will be addressed from another L3 network. Is this a supported configuration in ISE?
I intend to use the DHCP probe as part of device profiling and will ideally like to have just an additional ip helper to add to our switch SVI config. Also, it will appear that WLCs can only be configured for 2 DHCP servers for a given network so another consideration for when we bringing our WLAN in scope. We however use ACE load balancers within our DC and from what I have read, they do not support DHCP load balancing. Are there any workarounds to using the DHCP probe with multiple PSNs without having to add each node as an ip helper/DHCP server on the NADs?

For Question #1:
Management is restricted to GigabitEthernet 0 and that cannot be changed so you should be good there
You can configure Radius and Profiling to be enabled on other interfaces
Even though you are not using guest services yet, you can dedicate an interface just for that. As a result, you can separate guest traffic completely from your production network

For Question #2
If you are using a Cisco WLC and running code 7.4 and newer you don't need to mess with the IP helper configurations.
The controller can be configured to act as a collector for client profiling and interact with the DHCP thread along with the RADIUS accounting task that is running on the controller. The controller receives a copy of the DHCP request packet sent from the DHCP thread and parses the DHCP packet for two options:
–Option 12—HostName of the client
–Option 60—The Vendor Class Identifier
After this information is gathered from the DHCP_REQUEST packet, a message is formed by the controller with these option fields and is sent to the RADIUS accounting thread, which is in turn transmitted to the ISE in the form of an interim accounting message.
Both DHCP and HTTP profiling settings are located under the "Advanced" configuration tab in the WLC
On the other hand, you can also use Anycast for profiling. You can check out some of Cisco Live's sessions for more info on that. Here is one that is from a couple of years (There are more recent ones that are available as well):

Iphone 4s earphone voice problem

i have iphone 4s it has problem with earphone. the earphone voice of of other caller is very less. i can hardly head the other person but the speakers are working perfectly alrights. someone told me that the earphone speakers are burst. but some other people tole me that iphone 4s got a bug and my problem would be solved by updationg software. can anyone tell me the right solution.

I am a grandmother who doesn't use all the apps that are on the iphone. I am planning a nice vacation where I will be flying quite a lot. Please tell me how to use noise cancelling earphones with my iphone. If I download an audio book, will I be able to listen to that on the plane. I also have an ipad, can I use the earphones with that as well. I had such a bad experience on my last trip with screaming babies on international flights. Thanks

We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE! After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
If still problem that indicates you have a bad headphone jack.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours. Likely not worth it for your old 2G iPod
