EarPods doing a buzz sound on other devices?

I've had my Apple iPod touch 5th Generation for now a year and I must say that for a first iDevice, my experience so far has been outstanding.
However, I noticed that when I use the included Apple EarPods with, say, a laptop or a Nintendo 3DS, the earphone does an aggressing buzzing.
Is that normal or is it a hardware problem?

Found I had to feed in all the WiFi code again to tablets, phones, PCs etc, and had a few nervous moments until I found the hex code appeared to be case sensitive.
This is the first time I have ever been able to get into the HH settings menu: now to find out how to get my wireless printer to blast through whatever firewall system is stopping accessing the network. You might find me back here again soon!

Macbook calendar does not sync to my other devices

I recently noticed that when I was editing events on my Macbook calendar it was not syncing to my other devices. If I edit the event and close out of the calendar and open it again the change does not stay, it goes back to what it previously said. I have already tried signing out and back into my iCloud and also checked that the calendar service under iCloud is selected. It says that iCloud is enabled on the calendar settings and it will successfully sync from my other devices to my macbook but not anything from my macbook out. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am currently running Yosemite 10.10.1

Rented iTune movies over ATV gives only buzzing sound - no other audio

Purchased a movie for the first time on Apple TV 2 over iTunes. Picture is OK, sound is a loud buzzing. No other audio. Everything else sounds fine on ATV. I have watched Netflix movies, podcasts, and owned material with no problem. HDMI connection from ATV directly to TV. Changed the audio settings to 16 bit and to Auto. Same result.

T420's Bluetooth does not pair or find other devices

Hi,
I have a T420 laptop and the problem is that bluetooth doesn't find other devices to pair with and also if I try to pair with the laptop from other device, it doesn't show the passkey and the connection timeouts.
I'm on Windows 7 and BT driver is 6.5.1.302 and Microsoft BT enumerator 6.1.7601.17607.
I have updated the driver but it doesn't fix it.
Any idea?

Seems like there is some software conflicting with the BT driver. Would advice to uninstall any software which might be accessing the BT or the USB ports?
Try doing a system restore (Windows) to the time before the issue happened. If still does not help then do a factory recovery using Rescue & Recovery.

Sync does not show tabs from other devices

I have two computers running Windows 8.1 and FF 26: at work, and at home. Both are synced, however, every time I want to see tabs on the other computer (History - Tabs from other devices) all I see is a blank tab. Sync settings on both are to sync everything (tabs option checked).
Is this a bug, or is there anything else I need to do to see the remote tabs?

As you can see, there are some potential authentication issues, but I don't understand why would it only affect tabs sync, while bookmarks are fine. Note also that I merged all the stuff to the sync account by Sync - Manage Account - Reset Sync - Merge data from this device browser into your Sync account.

Why does my iphone list our other devices in the bluetooth settings and what does the symbol at the bottom left hand corner of my lock screen mean?

I just upgraded by iPhone 5s to ios 8. Now I see my wife's IPhone 6 and our Ipad Air, which I also upgraded to IOS 8. Why does it do that. Also, when my phone is on the lock screen, and someone access safari on the ipad, I see a symbol at the bottom left corner of my phone screen. What is that for?

I am searching for answers to this as well. My daughter and I just started seeing what looks like a message bubble or a safari tab in the left corner Of the lock screen. We can also see something in the multitasking area. If I am on safari, she sees the icon and can touch it. It takes her to the safari page I am looking at! Also, I was typing in a group message, she touched the icon and it created a group message to those same people on her Phone. can just anyone invade my privacy like this? Or is it just because we are linked somehow? Can I turn this off?

ICal on MacBook Pro does not sync to other devices

I'm lost ... we have an iMac (10.8.3), a MacBookPro (10.7.5) 3 iPads (1/5.1.1 - 2/6.0.2 - Air/7.0.4) and an iPhone (6.1.3) syncing calendars via iCloud. Everything works great EXCEPT when we enter an event in iCal on the MBP .... it does not sync to the other devices. Entries on all other devices sync fine to all others, but not when they're made in iCal on the MBP, these will only show up on the MBP. I've compared settings of the iMac and the MBP and all seems fine. I'm at a loss and have no idea where to look or what to do to resolve this. Is there anyone here who can point me in the right direction? Thank you very much!

Open iCal on your MBP and go to iCal>Preferences>General and make sure the Default Calendar is set to an iCloud calendar and not and On My Mac Calendar. If it is set to an iCloud calendar, try adding any missing events from the calendar on your MBP to the calendar on icloud.com. Once all the MBP events are on the calendar on icloud.com, go to System Preferences>iCloud, uncheck iCal (Calendar), choose Delete from Mac (they will still be in iCloud), restart your Mac, then go back and check iCal (Calendar) again.
If events added to your MBP still don't sync to iCloud, go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Sign Out, choose Delete at all of the prompts, restart your Mac, then go back and sign back in. (This deletes the account and iCloud data from your Mac, but not from iCloud. Your data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in.)

Does deleting your ICloud account delete it on any other devices you're using it on?

My family shares our Apple ID, but I want to delete the families iCloud account, from my ipad only, and replace it with a new one. If I press delete account, does anything change with the other devices?

Seriously, no one has an answer for this? I need to do the same thing but not sure if 'Delete Account' will delete the account from existence or just from the iPad. I need it to be the latter.

What's wrong. everything runs top notch, PSU makes a buzzing sound? maybe a fan runnin at low RPM?

Specs are in my sig,
Everything runs A+, I stress tested with Prime95 and memtest 86 with 0 errors and pass 3dMark 2001SE and 3dMark 03 with flying colors and play all my games with everything maxed out without one single hiccup.
My power supplies voltages are A+ too, I'm thinking that the buzzing is caused by the bottom fan on the PSU, as it's thermaly controled, it's running at a low RPM because the temperature in my case is very cool with all the fan's I have.

So ya everything runs very cool, do you guys think it's the PSU's bottom 92mm fan running at a low RPM because the temp is cool in my aluminium case?

A bigger power supply (reqiures a more powerful inverter?) and would probably cause even more noise, as was my experience with the 420W Noisetaker.
Do us a favor though, when you talk to a professional about your power supply, ask them about the power supply's "inverter" or it's "diode" (I forget which is which, but I know one is used to convert AC into DC which is what a power supply does) and how much noise it would typically make, I'm almost sure that is the source of your buzzing sound.

Folders that I copy from my Macbook to my External Hard Disk does NOT appear on any other drive that I connect the Hard disk to (TV, PC, ... etc.)

I'm facing a bit of a problem.
Any folder I copy from my Macbook Pro to my External Hard Disk does NOT appear on any other device that I connect the Hard Disk to (TV, PC, etc).
The Hard disk format is "MS-DOS (FAT)".
The folders that are copied from Macbook appear when I connect the Hard Disk to my Macbook only, yet, the folders that I copy from a PC to the Hard Disk appear on Macbook, PC, and TV and are also available from editing from both Mac and PC.
I was advised to install "Paragon" software and I did but I'm not sure how to use it to convert the folders on the hard drive to any format that can be read on other drives or devices (NTFS or otherwise).
I'd appreciate some help. Thank you.

I only ask as OSX will only read NTFS partitions unless you install an App such as Paragon NTFS or Tuxera NTFS.

Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

Will it synch bookmarks to my other devices?

I am currently synching bookmarks from Safari on my Mac to my iPhone and I just started dong it with my new iPad. If I add a bookmark on my iPad, how does it synch to my other devices? Can I now add a bookmark on any device and have them all synch to the other devices?
