Earpods seem to be functioning weirdly

Okay, so my earpods have this weird issue. They work fine most of the time if the connector isn't moving, but when the connector moves about, the sound phases out and the bass dies out, and only very little is audible, if at all. After trying to set it right by changing it's position around, it comes back. I've never seen a problem like this before, but it's really annoying especially when I have my iPod in my pocket and I'm walking around. It keeps phasing out. Help?
Also, if this a defect that cannot be fixed, and needs to be replaced. I just wanted to say that I bought the Earpods seperately, and I bought them when I was in Australia. I am currently in India, and I was unsure how the warranty worked for them, so can someone tell me if I can get them replaced? I bought them in December. Also, they look pretty much like-new. No cosmetic damage what-so-ever.

Yes you are correct, I TRY THE Modify -> Templates -> Detach from Template. I have built over 50 websites with this method using Modify -> Templates -> Detach from Template in DW CS5.5
After a save a page to a template for future ref.
I create a new page using this temp. but can not use the Modify -> Templates -> Detach from Template. The Detach from Template is not functional. It is there but when I mouse over its not operative.
Does DW CC need update maybe.

Thank you so much for this reply. I had already seen this reboot suggestion and actually tried it. During the night I realized that I had phrased the question wrong because I really had the issue of getting my iPhone to change to LANDSCAPE mode. For some reason I asked for help on the gyroscope Thinking that the gyroscope controlled this feature. I found that I had accidentally turned on the "orientation lock" and by bringing up the control panel from the bottom of the screen I was able to find this lock button and correct the problem. The truth is ---- the iPhone scree is so small that I was not able to see this little lock symbol at all. I found this symbol on my iPad and transferred the knowledge to my iPhone. Everything is working fine now And I thank you very much for taking the time to write to me. SuzanneVA

Thank you for your swift reply. I don't know that this has helped me, as I've reached my level of tolerance for fooling with this annoying little problem - for today anyway. It has been going on since I "up" graded to Firefox 4. My wife is running 3.6.x on her laptop with none of this foolishness. As BLASPHEMOUS as it may sound, I've gone back to IE for the time being even though I don't like it 1000th as much as I do Firefox.
Not just to rant here, I would say that I found a way to put some buttons on the right side of the toolbar that immediately gave me permission to "back, forward, and reload", but upon closing the browser and going out for dinner with the wife, I find on return that not only are those buttons NOT still on the toolbar, but I can't find them anymore. I think they were in "add-ons" found under I believe Add-On Manager.
I did also manage to achieve back/forward functionality running Firefox in SAFE mode, but this meant no No-Script, among other things, and I've grown too fond of that particular little script to give it up.
I've rebooted, restored, and reinstalled, can't get this formerly completely reliable program to work like it always has. Before looking around on here, I was beginning to think it was my PC.

There was never a functionality to publish a calendar thru iWeb.
You could publish a calendar, 100% independent of iWeb, and display it in a browser window.
Then you could display that window in an iWeb HTML Snippet.

Keyboard stuck-keys seems to perform functions instead of typing letters

It seems like my keyboard is stuck on sticky keys. When i type letters, it performs functions, opens programs etc. I looked in "universal settings" and sticky keys is off. I don't know how to fix it and I can't type letters on my keyboard.

In case there is dirt or food crumbs trapped under the keys run a vacuum hose over the keys or use a can of compressed air.
If the above does not work AND you do NOT have AppleCare, take the keyboard apart & clean it.

It seems my callback function doesn't work

I used dbp->associate() to index on name of the primary data. My callback function is listed below.
First, I put data into primary db, and I did not close it, then call db->associate function to index on the name field of the data structure. But after this, there is nothing in my secondary db.

And a followed question is that I search a record use DB->get(), it does find the specified one, but when I check the result, I found what pData contained is just pKey should contained. And I use DB->pget(), I found pData contained the same thing as I get by DB->get(), pKey contains NULL. What is my problem?

Create Functions weirdness

trying to create a function with the following

job is a publix synonym and can be used in an ordinary select statement
to_period is a function I've already created that works as expected
when I compile this I get errors like

4/48 PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Not sure why as I can take the SQL out of this and put values and things work fine

As explained above, you must grant the SELECT priv. explicitly to the user creating the function.
You probably have a role based access to the table, that is why it works within SQL*Plus. Try this:
SQL> set role none ;
SQL> select * from job ;Does that give you output? if not, you need to gratn the SELECT priv. explicitly.

Ipad 4th gen 32Gb seems to be doing weird cycling thing.

SO let me explain, I had used Ipad about 2 weeks ago, Then today It acted like dead battery. ie nothing happened like normally when you press the Sleep/Wake Button.
So I plugged it into the AC plug and a Red battery indicator displyed with the bottom 1/4 screen displaying a greyish/white rectangle. Then all of a sudden the apple logo displays for about 1.5 seconds then off and about 2 sec later back to the red battery indicator Greish/white rectangle screen again then apple logo then repeat.
It will do this for hours and it seem the battery is gaining 0% charge.
Not to mention I tried to restore it but when connecting to mylaptop ( Which is all I have ever used to update/Sync with) It does nothing and I cannotget computer to even detect it.
Anyone know what the ehck coudl of happened here and how I can get it restored. I have backup so I can erase all if needed.
All I know is that this now is totally useless

This is after being plugged into AC for over 24 hours. I first get the low battery screen then within like 1-2 seconds the apple logo pops up then within 1-2 seconds it acts like it is restarting and goes back to battery screen and repeats this over and over again.
I have tried holding the Home button and the Sleep awake button but it seeems to have no effect the Ipad just keeps doing its cycle.
I tried plugging it into the laptop but it does not detect the ipad so I am stuck.
I have no Idea how to restart or reset it other then the 2 ways I mentioned.

Softeware not updating, seems not fully functional

When I was in the US for work I bought a retail version of Photoshop / Premiere Elements 8. Back in The Netherland I downloaded the trial of the Dutch version and used the US serial to register the software. All went fine but I do have a couple of problems which I'm not sure how to fix.
When I select: Help - updates it reports within a second that the update server is not responding. It has never worked. manualy installing 8.0.1 did not fix the problem.
When I select (in Dutch) file - check folders it reports the service is not available...
In short: some parts do not work and I wonder if this is because I'm using an US serial for a Dutch product or if it is a faulty install.

1. Make sure that the system is connected to internet and the firewall settings or anti-virus settings are not in such a way that it is not allowing Updater to contact to Adobe servers.
2. If above doesnt work, try this:
   1. Open Network and Sharing Center
   2. Click Change adapter settings
   3. Right-click the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter, and click Disable.
   4. Open PSE and Help > Check for Updates

My iPhone 4 had been in water for about 3 seconds. It had powered on later on that day. I am able to charge it. It has since been wiped out because I have purchased an iPhone 5c from tMobile and transferred everything to my new phone. TMobile had scoped it and it indicated slight water damage (slight red mark). I would like to sell it on eBay--but don't really know how to list it. My guess is to list it under "For Parts Or Not Working" to be on the safe side. Any thoughts/ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I would agree that you may want to list as not working. It is anybody's guess as to how long it will work even with minimal water damage. Water and electronics do not mix well.

Airport Base Station doesn't seem to be functioning properly

Hi everyone. Set up an Airport Extreme Base Station at my house recently. The Airport icon in the menu bar shows that the system is broadcasting, but when I click on the network it says there was an error joining - this happens whether I have the network password-protected or not. When you look at the front of the unit, only the right-side light is flashing ... the middle one stays lit, as it should, but the left-side one never flashes. Any idea what this might indicate, BESIDES the fact that I'm probably an idiot? I'm using two iBook G4's ...
