Easier way to organize tunes data?

I've imported a bunch of my cd's to my itunes... many of the cd's do not register automatically with the gracenote music title service, and hence i end having to add the titles, etc.....all of the data fields for the import are blank.... or the other scenario... titles are given, but not other info such as genre, for instance... here's the question.....
Do i have to enter these blank fiels one-by-one, or is there some way I can highlight a group of individual tunes, and then apply the genre "title" (or whatever) to all of them at once? Am I missing something? Seems like this should be able to be done rather than the tedious entry one-by-one....

There is a way. All you need to do is select all the songs that you want to apply the same information to and press Apple +i on your keyboard or go to Edit - Get Info. This will bring up a Get Info box where you can change all the informtion at once.

Any easier way to set due dates?

By and large, I'm pretty happy with the functionality of iCal, even if it's a bit basic. But setting due dates on to dos and events is very frustrating!
Let's say you add a new to do, then click the due date box. Today's date is filled in, say, 26/08/2007 in my part of the world. I want to schedule the to do for next month. To change it you click on the day part, enter a number (say, 08), then tab or click on the month part. At this time the iCal display jumps to 08/08/2007 (in the past!). Now I get to manually type in the new month, 9, and press Return or tab and things are good again. It's all kind of long-winded and messy. What's sorely needed is a drop-down calendar picker, or the ability to click on the existing calendar at the left to pick a date.
Does anyone know of any easier way to enter due dates? I've even looked for external programs that handle to do functionality, but can't find any that automatically sync changes to iCal for syncing to my Palm Treo. Anyone know if iCal in Leopard is any better in this regard?

I couldn't agree more. I can't believe that this has escaped Apple for so long, and didn't even make it into Leopard. Let's say its the middle of November and I want to schedule a to-do due date for the end of the week, say Friday, second week of December. I do this all the time. Sorry, but I can't do the math this quickly, so I need to open up a calendar, or scroll down the calendar, then enter the exact date manually.
Just give me a quick pop-up. Travel web sites do this. Now Up To Date in 1992 had drop down calendars. So does Entourage, which is what I use ONLY because of this one glaring pain. Entering due dates, reminders, etc, is just a pain in iCal, and even worse now in Mail.

If you backup with iTunes and you restored from the backup and the data are gone, then there is no where to retrieve them from unless you have another backup that contains those data.
Launch iTunes on the computer and go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices. You will see a window with all of your backups listed in it.
If you see a recent backup that you are certain contains the data that you need, recover deleted data from iPhone backup.
If your note is gone from iCloud.com there is only a few ways to possibly recover it.
The first things I would check is a iCloud Backup, a iTunes Backup, or a 3rd party email that may have contained the note. To restore from a iCloud or iTunes backup follow this link. This article explains how to restore a device from either back up.
Note if you have backed up since the note went missing, you will not have the note on the backup. Make sure you do not back up if trying to restore from a back up as this will back up the content without the note.
To get to the "Set up assistant" on an iOS device, you must go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings. Once the phone restarts, you will be at the "Set up Assistant"

Is there an easier way to view distant date information on the dashboard calendar?

I'm attempting to use the calendar on the dashboard to inspect dates that are far in the future or past, but it seems like the only option for changing the month is to use the forward or back buttons, stepping you a month at a time. If I want to see February, 1976 I have to click the back button approximately (12 months/year * 38 years) 456 times.
Is there a way to move through the calendar more quickly (e.g. by advancing a year at a time, or typing a target date or something)?

I moved the voice memos app to the second screen, then another app to the front page to replace it, and then moved the voice memo app to the last page and everything automatically shifted over.

At home I have an old, OLD mac - an iBook G4. And I have an iPhone 4. I did this the wrong way...didn't realize I needed a higher OS and therefore a newer notebook until after I bought the iPhone 4. However, my IT guy at work wiped my iBook and installed OS 10.6.something on the machine, so that I could use my phone. While seemingly-backwards, this was a good thing because I couldn't have even gone back down to an iPhone 3GS because my OS was too old.
I also have a work computer which is a thing of beauty - an iMac which also runs 10.6.5. I had my iPhone synced to my iBook, and then decided to sync to my work iMac in the hopes that I'd be able to put everything there, and so now I have stuff all over the place. I have an external hard drive but don't really know what to do with it except do back-ups from my iBook and then put it away...I know there's a more efficient way to do all of this, and eventually I would like all my files to be in one place, but I think I've messed it all up by syncing to more than one computer and also using the external. All my purchased music is on the iMac and everything else is on the iBook, and God only knows where my pictures are. Calendar syncing? Can't even do that except through the MobileMe cloud.
In very simple terms, can anyone suggest a solution (besides buying a new notebook, not in my budget)? My iBook won't even support a backup anymore (startup disk is full) and has basically become a glorified DVD player.

With what you described, I see there is a requirement creating sub directory ( sub container) in the azure storage service. And azure storage doesn't provide the concept of heirarchical containers. However, we can name container as "Image" then
name blob as "291/follower.jpg", the '/' just a conventional character. More information you can follow those two thread: #

In my mind, "simple is best". Just save blob files into single container like "Images". Then add a field which can differentiate what type the blob is like below:

TV Tuner - The Easy Way

Pretty much, yes. Here are two ways to improve on your approach, however:
Place the thumbnails into a Data List. This makes it less work to edit things like item spacing/layout, or the selection highlight, since you don't have to do it once per thumbnail image. To display a different full-size image depending on which list item you clicked, create a series of "On Select" interactions using the "When a specific item is selected" option.
Put your image gallery into a custom component and have one state in the component for each image. This keeps your list of top-level application pages/states clean, so that if you later decide to add other screens such as contact info, info page, etc., they're not all mixed in alongside your image-specific states.

You should definitely optimize your images for the web by adjusting the resolution and compression settings. You can do this within Catalyst, or within the original tool that you used to create the jpegs (e.g. Photoshop's "Save for Web" command contains all the same optimization controls, and then some).

Is there a way to organize files by date added?

I'm trying to put a scrapbook together for a friend and am including all of the files he sent me and stuff in order of the date that he sent them...but there's only the option to organize by date modified or date created....none of which help me with this...I really need to do date added. Is there any way to do it?

I apologize if I misunderstood your question. So are you asking when someone sends you pics in a email, you want to add them to iphoto or a folder in finder by the date of the email and not the date of picture? I am not sure if this will help or maybe you already did this. I chose "quick look" at the attachment of an email with an older pic and chose the icon to add to iphoto. When I did this it created a event with todays date. The email was from Jan 4th, so it recognized todays date. Unfortunately though, when I tried this with recent pics sent to me (xmas), it created a folder based on the date the picture was taken. So I am really not sure if there is a way to do it. The only other suggestion I have, which is not the quickest. First I would create a specific folder for this project in finder. Next when you receive the email, click to save attachment. In the "save as" box, name the file the date you received it and any additional info if you want. Next find the folder you created and save in there. At least you will be able to access the pics in one place and the file name will say when you received them. I hope this helps. I am not an expert yet on my mac, but I just tried that and it worked. Create an album and place into it any pictures you like. You can even place every single picture in your iPhoto library into it. The pictures can then be organized in any arbitrary way you wish within that album.

I am trying to expose RFC--"BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2" which is in R/3 46c(without WAS) as an Web Service.
When I try to create related data/message/interface type for the parameters used in this RFC, I found it a really difficult job cauze there are too many types of parameters used in "BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2".
So I am wondering is there an easy way to create a corresponding Interface for RFC--"BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2".

Hi,
Just an addition to the above, when you download the WSDL, you get some data types in the Message TABP of the External Definition.
You can use these as the Message Type for your mapping. You still have to create the MI for these Message types.

Is there an easy way to remove photos from iPhoto in the organizer?

I had been using iPhoto, but quit when I started using Photoshop Elements. With version 9, it imported not only photos in my pictures but those in iPhoto. So I have hundreds of duplicates I need to remove from the organizer. Is there an easy way to find the ones from iPhoto so I can remove them?

OK, but is there a way to search/filter on a string in the location (i.e. iPhoto) so I could then easily know which are the duplicates I want to delete?
If there isn't, then it seems that I will have to delete the catalog and start from scratch again. I had originally thought I didn't include iPhoto in the folders to search, but apparently it was somehow included so I will have to be more granular in what folders to search if I recreate the catalog again.
