Easier way to view phone call logs? Also, help with email setup...

1.  On my 8220 it's not very efficient to view past call logs and or missed calls.  I have to go into my Messages folder, click the menu button, scroll down to 'view folder' and then scroll down to my 'Phone Call Logs'.  Is there a way to create a folder dedicated to viewing call logs and my missed calls on my home screen without going through all that timely navigating?  Is there a special download for this application?  I've seen this folder on the BB 101 tutorial webpage.
I'm with Rogers Wireless if that helps.
2.  When I select the Email Setup it only gives me the the option to "I want to use a work email account with a BlackBey Enterprise Server" and no option for the "I want to create or add an email address" which I see on the BB 101 tutorial webpage.  Well, I'd like to create or add an email address.  How can I get that option on my phone?
Oh and one more thing, is the 8220 able to run the BB maps application?

1) While in your messages folder, try pressing ALT + P to bring up the phone logs without all the navigating. (I know that works on other BB models, I don't know on the 8220).
2) Do you have a BB Data Plan on your carrier account? Once it is , you will get the personal email setup icon.

    As I say, internet has been cleared, and under settings, the advanced cookies & history has also been cleared. Is there an easy way of viewing this info again?

    How does this relate to your first post?
    Are you talking about restoring as new? or restoring to a backup?
    Why are you restoring?
    If it is to recover History  and you think that you have a backup that contains the missing history you could restore to that. Doing this will restore your iPad to the state that it was in at the time of the backup, Apps, Games, etc.
    Note that there are PC and Mac applicatons that can read iPad backup files and extract information. Check the internet for these. I do no know if they extract Safari History.

  • Treo 755 resets when I try to view my call log

    Can someone point me in the right direction to correct this problem.  The phone resets whenever I try to view my call log.  I assume the call log is corrupt somehow but I do not know how to correct it.

    i had this same issue. i know hardreset will resolve this one, but after syncing the phone again to the computer and tried viewing the log it will shut off. if this is caused by data corruption, then, just hardreseting the device will not work cos it will still sync the corrupted data to the phone again after the hardreset. someone told me that before syncing the phone after the hardreset i should rename the backup folder on my username. but renaming it will not sync any of my third party applications back and my call logs. my call logs are important to me, so if i can not open it from the phone, is there a way to view it on my computer?..

  • Sub-account Users and FIOS phone call logs

    Verizon created FOUR separate account "Profiles" within my home for Internet and Phone Logs viewing use at the outset of their installation Two weeks ago.
    One Primary acct... which Verizon designates.... and THREE other Sub-accounts. Seems ONLY the Primary account is allowed permission to View FIOS phone call logs, block numbers etc.... We changed over from COMCAST a couple of weeks ago where not Only did the Primaey account had these priveleges, but that same Primary account bestowed priveleges to all the other Secondary Sub-accounts to do the same via a check box.....don't see that here.
    so I'm wondering is Verizon allowing only ONE acct ..(ie. Primary) to have this feature?

    I like to keep some phone #'s in my log but not every single one. How can I delete individual numbers from the log? It looks now like I can only clear the entire log.

    You can delete the calls individually by going to the phone portion, then pressing delete on each call record.
    Or you can delete them all by going to Messages > View Folder > Phone Call Logs and removing them there. Highlight the top date separator, press the menu key, then select Delete Prior. This will delete all Phone Call Logs prior to the date you have selected.

    Phone > Recents or check your account online with your carrier.
    Note, Recents is limited to 100 calls exactly.  No way to change that.
    You can delete recent calls you don't care about to keep the list from filling up.  Swipe across the call and press the Delete button or use the Edit button, top right.

    Too bad...I wish that feature was still there that was in SendNow...I also have to go and get the recipients email each time I send a file instead of Send remembering the email addresses I have sent to in the past.

    That is a new feature described in Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac using Continuity - Apple Support
    You can turn it off by going to Settings > FaceTime and changing "iPhone Cellular Calls" to off.
    You may also want to look into using separate Apple IDs for you and your wife. That is now more flexible with new Family Sharing features: http://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/family-sharing/

    You can try the following. Using Bulk Administration, Export CSS data, you will get a tar file. Save that tar file in csv format. It will show the CSS names along with the list of partitions assigned to each CSS ( example output from my lab )
