Easiest way to convert to AAC from songs (MP4) already in my Library?

My son has a DSi XL now which has a SD slot and supports music in AAC format only.
My music library is all in MP3, what is the easiest way to convert to AAC, put it in a separate older or separate or easily identifiable in my library (or even delete after putting on SD card).
I'm not bothered on it being top quality audio as I know it will be converting from my MP3s I already have.

I would just leave them in Word...GR reads many formats very easily.
If our goal is to work on/edit the files it may be useful to look into something like Pages if you have a Mac, and the Pages for iOS devices so you could use the same word processor on both machines.
But if you convert the Word to PDF and then use GR you can still edit the files...GR will edit and annotated PDF files rather easily.

I usually can eventually access the router, but it is way to much trouble. However, I use my iPad hundreds of times more often than my laptop.

I signed a paper and uploaded the image to the computer as a jpeg to be turned into a watermark. I'd done it before for a different kind of photography, but have not done it in so long that I cannot remember the steps nor can I find the tutorial video I had watched that taught me how to do it.

Adding to what others have said, if you want to repeat the watermark across the image, it's relatively easy:
As JJ said, you want to create an image with a transparent background. You can even use his script. Once you've done all that, click Image > Trim with the "transparent pixels" option and leave all the "trim away" options checked.
Click Edit > Define Pattern to name the pattern.
Open the image you want to apply the watermark to. Create a new blank layer. (ON EDIT: Select the blank layer.)
Click Edit > Fill and use the Pattern option under Contents. Choose the pattern you made earlier. Click OK.
At this point, you can leave it as is or use blending modes and layer opacity to taste. Example:

Using Iwork 09 I have spent several hours setting up a mail merge from a spread sheet in Numbers to create receipts for my customers from a Pages template.
After the merge I am left with one long Pages document that will not save as separate files; one per customer, it will only save the whole document of several receipts.
What is the easiest way to get the data from the mailmerge to form Pages files that can be saved separately?

You will probably be more pleased with the iWork apps when you begin to learn your way around. Until you learn such basic things as how to print only one page of a document, you will probably continue to be disappointed.

"After you convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk, you cannot change the dynamic volumes back to partitions. Instead, you must delete all dynamic volumes on the disk and then use the
Convert To Basic Disk command. If you want to keep your data, you must first back it up or move it to another volume. "

You can try to backup the dynamic volume via Windows Server Backup then restore it to a new basic VHD file ( the space is recommended to be larger than or equal to the old one ) .

Photos synced from iTunes cannot be deleted one at a time if that's what you mean. They can be manipulated, if manipulated means editing or moving them into folders that you create on the iPad in the photos app.
I agree with Procyon256 that emailing is probably the easiest way for one at a time, but there are also WiFi transfer apps that are pretty nice for this purpose, I use this one.

I found out an easy way....
With iPod connected to iTunes, right click on the iPod playlist you want to export, choose the Export option on the menu that appears.
iTunes will prompt for a location and format to save the file. Save playlist as an XML file using whatever name and location you want (I saved as "songs.XML" to my desktop).
Then, in iTunes, go to File - Library - Import Playlist and selet the XML file. The playlist will be created in the iTunes library and will contain any tracks that are refereced in the original playlist that already exists in the library.
There may be a mesage, "Some of the songs in the (filename).XML were not imported because they could not be fund". This is because the songs you are importing have to already be in your iTunes library.
I just did this with my kid's iPod and it worked great. I found this tip on Apple Support Communities (discussions.apple.com/thread/2577582?start=0&tstart=0). It was posted by SpyglassSally and my original search question in Goole was was, "How do i copy a playlist from an iPod to iTunes".

Bug in v11: Convert to AAC from Home Shared lib, same machine

I keep two iTunes libraries on my Mac. One is high-res [Apple lossless] and is the source for playback on my audio system. The other contains compressed [AAC] versions of the same music and is used on my phone.
Prior to iTunes 11, when I wanted to add music to both libraries, I did this:
- rip to the disk to Apple Lossless and add it to the HiRes iTunes library. Add album art.
- Close iTunes then relaunch with the AAC library.
- [Option key] Advanced menu - Convert to AAC:
- a File system dialog is presented - select the music from the HiRes library to convert and import.
Done.
In iTunes 11, the process should be the same except that 'Convert to AAC' now appears at File - Create New Version.
That would be fine if it worked.
A couple of things have changed:
- The menu is in a new place with a new name,
- Convert to AAC no longer presents a File system dialog from which to select the files to convert.
Tried this:
- Rip to Apple Lossless and add to the HiRes lib. Close iTunes.
- Open iTunes with the AAC library.
- Select the HiRes library in the Library menu.
- Navigate to the newly imported files - select them.
- (hold down Option key) File - Convert to AAC
This error message appears in a dialog:
None of the selected files were converted because they could not be found.
To verify that the files can 'be found', I try playing them. No problem.
Looks like a bug.

The only way around it at the moment is to import the original file into the itunes library and then choose 'create aac version' after that you can delete the original file from your itunes library.
If you work with a lot of files at once you can do this easily by setting the library to list view, right click on the header with name, time, etc. select 'kind' and then click on kind in the header. Now your songs are sorted by kind and everything that isn't AAC wil be at the bottom of the list.

Converting to AAC from one library into another

I have a large library of imported CDs in lossless format. I have created a 2nd library into which I want to import the files from the first library and convert them to AAC. I can find no way to do this. Is it possible and if so how can I do it?

Thanks for your reply. We ended up doing a convolution of what you suggested - converted in Library 1 - then copied the AAC files to the desktop, then to Library 2. Then deleted the AAC files in Library 1 and on the desktop (we couldn't find a way to directly copy from Library 1 to 2) This sure seems like a long way around for something that should be easier! Easiest way to get my music from EAC to iTunes with the least work

Keep in mind I'm working with full albums/cd's:
So I just split my wav's from CUE sheet and now they're numbered and named. I highlight my tracks and drag them into iTunes. Now the way I've been doing it is that I highlight all the tracks click "Get Info" and fill in all the information that applies to all the tracks for that album. Then I go one by one and delete the number in the track name and enter it in the track number box. That is the real time consuming part. Next is to convert to AAC, and when that is done I delete the wav's. Now I am left only with the AAC's with just the track name without a number in front of it, and all other information entered.
Is there an easier way to do all this? Like can't I somehow get rid of the track number in the file name that comes from EAC, but still have the tracks in the right order so that when they go into iTunes they are organized properly?
Also how do I control where my files go when I convert to AAC in iTunes? I know where they go, but can I control where and how they are organized? I don't have "organize my music" selected in my preferences.
