Hi....
I was wondering (of all the way's) what would be the easiest way to send Video Email?
I would like to use a built in method - meaning: a method that would have an email ability already apart of it's function; not - just record a message and turn it into an attachment....
Suggestions, opinions and comments are welcome

Yea - that’s what started my whole question in the first place (funny)... I was in PhotoBooth and started looking around to see if there was a function (button) that I could push that would have the recording all set up automatically (to be emailed)... And I was kinda surprised that there wasn’t one (in a round about way) - so that’s when I thought maybe there still would be one somewhere else buried in OS X that I don’t know about. Meaning: might as well take advantage of it - if I got it.... (Right?)...
So now I’ll go look into my Quick Time Pro and see what’s up....

I would use DropBox if you want to transfer your whole photo library. The iPad is set up to make it very difficult to transfer content off of it. This is to protect copyrighted materials and prevent file sharing.
Make sure you have the latest copy of DropBox on your iPad and it will automatically upload all your photos and videos to the Camera Uploads folder on DropBox. Keep in mind this may take a long time to get them all uploaded, especially if you have a lot of videos and a slow WiFi connection. It won't work over 3G / 4G must be a Wifi connection. Once they are uploaded to Dropbox it is simply a matter of then downloading them to the place you want to download them to.

One way would be to create your image map first. Then, use the CSS property position to position the div containing the video player relative to the image map or absolute to the page (depending on how your website layout is).
Then, use an event listener (javascript) to enable the div holding the video player to show only when the specific area on the image map is clicked.

Easiest way to send multiple iWork attachments as Office documents

My grandmother just switched from a PC to a Mac, and I suggested that she use iWork instead of Office for Mac. Now she is getting used to iWork, but all of the people that she works with use Office.
When she wants to send multiple documents, I told her that she has to open each one and got to Share => Export -> Word and save them to her desktop. After that she needs to attach each one to the email.
As I'm telling her this, I think to myself "There has to be a better way..."
So, I come here to ask: Is there a better way? Is there some way to make Mail convert these .pages documents into .docx, .keynote into .pptx, etc.? I always thought that's what "Send Windows Friendly Attachments" did, but I have found out that
it does something totally different.

There is no easy way to convert iWork documents to Office and then send them via email. In short, your options are as follows:
In Pages, don't save as .pages files, but rather as .docx files. To do this, your grandmother will have to use "save as" every time she saves the file, because "save" will simply save a .pages file. You cannot set the default file format
in Pages to be a .docx file.
Continue as she is doing now, and convert each file individually from .pages to .docx when she needs to send it to someone.
Buy a legal copy of Office:Mac.
If your grandmother works with people who use Office, the best solution is for her to use Office:Mac. Pages can open Word documents, and it can save as a Word document as well, but this conversion is limited. If the documents have a lot of formatting, they
are likely to lose the formatting in the conversion. If she receives Word documents with macros, she will not be able to use or modify the macros. Keynote to PowerPoint and Numbers to Excel have similar issues. We'll leave aside that it sounds like you have
violated the
EULA for iWork in associating someone else's Apple ID with your grandmother's new Mac.
"Send Windows-Friendly Attachments" does not convert files from one type to another, and you probably don't want Apple Mail (or any other application) performing such a conversion without telling you about it. It simply changes the encoding that
it uses for sending the files via email.
There is no method to batch-convert files from Pages to Word. Pages' AppleScript and Automator dictionaries don't have commands for such a conversion.

Export the files to the desktop and then attach them to your email.
However, Email is not a good way to share video. Even short videos can require very large files and this can cause all sorts of issues for the person at the other end. Best to upload the video to someplace like YouTube or a file service like YouSendit and then send them a link.

Create a group contact in Apple Contacts.
For examples, you create a group called business with as many email addresses inside. On your Apple Mail, you just type business, you will be able to send out the group emails out!!!

There is no "out of box" tool per se that does this type of task, but you could probably script it with an Action that uses JavaScript. If you are not familiar with Acrobat JavaScript then you will need to find someone who is familiar with it to assist you in building it.

Nothing at all happened to me. You could do this: f9 until you're happy on a blank timeline. File export>qt movie>self contained. Import that file, put it into your green screen timeline as the bottom layer. you're still going to have to render it.

For Christmas I am converting old family movies from 8mm tapes to an external hard drive for my parents. I have done some research and found that the external hard drive will be able to work with their blu ray player if it is reformatted to Fat 32. That part I have done--unfortunately Fat 32 will only save files up to 4 GB in size, and the videos I am importing are about 30 GB for each tape. Is there a simple way to break each import down to 4 GB a clip that is less time consuming than me overviewing every import and stopping it every 10-15 minutes? Thank you for your time everyone!

If each tape is 30GB I guess my first question would be what format are they saved in? And MP4 file might only be 600MBytes and playback for just over an hour. I don't know if the Blu-ray would play all file formats but MP4 might be an option and it would help shrink those file sizes a bit.

OK - all is working fine except one thing. I want the last slide on the move to remain on the screen. In all browsers the movie goes to black. In Final Cut, the movie stops exactly where I want it to. Anything I can do in the code to make sure the last movie frame remains on screen as a still frame?.....Thanks......Art

What is the easiest way to use a video clip as the DVD's menu and have titles?

Ok, I"m using Ppro CS4, and I have a clip that i would like to be the title screen when the DVD starts. I then want to click on something like Play movie that will play the movie.
I want the Menu to be the actual video clip playing in the background. I am going to be importing several projects from CS3 into the fished version and would like these to be set up as seperate from the main movie......but something that can be clicked on and watched. (I guess I'm wanting titles)
any help would be appreciated. I have searched around and kind figure out how to do this. Do I need to use AFter Effects, or Encore, or what.

I would suggest that you post this to the Adobe Encore>Menus & Buttons forum. What you want to do, if I read correctly, is pretty simple. There will probalby be links available to step you though it. I'll look for this there, and start gathering some links.
