Easing in and out on the same tween

I have a motion tween that I want to ease on both the
beginning and end of the motion.
As far as I can tell I can only set one value for easing and
in the easing graph I can't add more points.
The only way I've been able to have both ease in and out is
to create another keyframe in the middle and apply and ease out on
that.

As of Flash 8 you can use the Advanced Easing Panel and shape
the curve like a letter "S".

How to set a different smtp in and out on the same server

Hello,
I got an xserve on 10.5.6 and the ethernet ports are connected to two differents networks. One is on the local network (192.168.0.5) and the other on a wan. The lan is on ADSL box that is also the router. I would like to receive my email from the adsl box (it work like this actualy - smtp in) but sent the mails from my user with the wan (smtp out). I did'nt find any setting on the admin server graphic interface and Apple confirms that it is not possible without modifing files with the terminal. (they did'nt give the solution:()
Is anyone can help me to make this configuration work.

Short answer: you can't - at least not directly.
What you're trying to do breaks the fundamental rules of IP routing - specifically you can only have one default route that's used for all non-local traffic. That route will either point out our ADSL link or your second WAN link. You cannot route by port or protocol.
Your best bet is to use an SMTP relay where you tell your server to relay all outgoing mail through an intermediate server (rather than directly to the destination domain). Then you can setup a static route to that relay over the second WAN link to override the default route.

Possible to use both optical out AND regular line out at the same time?

I currently have my computer speakers (logitech z560) hooked up to the mac pro via regular stereo jack in the back. I have an extra receiver that I would love to hook in to supply me with some needed sound for movie watching and what-not.. Is there a way to enable both line out - digital and line out at the same time?

You can set DVD Player's "Audio output" to "Digital Out" in its "Disc Setup" preference, while other applications use Line Out.
You could use a splitter on Line Out to feed your current speakers, and analog Line In on your receiver. When you want sound to both systems, set the receiver to Line In. When you want to watch DVDs, set it to Digital In. This will give you surround sound if the DVD has multichannel sound, and the receiver supports more than two channels.
If you really want the same output on the Mac Pro Line Out, and Digital Out, you can use the "Auxiliary Device Output" effect in Audio Hijack Pro

Is there a way to view video via the display AND TV out at the same time?

Is there a way to display the video output for supported apps on the display as well as through the TV out at the same time? To explain my setup briefly, I'd like to have the front seat passenger in my vehicle be able to hold the iPad and watch video while the A/V cable runs through the car system and displays on the ceiling mounted TV for the back passengers.
As of right now, it seems as though it will only allow for one display at a time, and in this case, only showing video through the TV out. I don't know if the iPad has the processing power to mirror outputs to the display and the TV out at the same time, though I imagine that it should.
So, does anyone have any ideas on how to make this possible, if it's possible at all?

My iPod generation 6 160gb will not sync. iTunes says corrupt, won't restore just errors out and then loops the same messages.

My iPod is corrupt according to iTunes, however it won't restore through iTunes either. I've tried to reformat the drive. Makes no difference. I've tried to reformat after choosing disk manager, and again the same result. The iPod takes forever to work through the reformatting process and I get the same message "Itunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod" and then my pc tells me to format the disk.
It's so frustrating, is there a fix to this? It seems like the iPod could still function, but I'm missing the way to get out of this loop, please help me!

4. Same as step 3, but open the “Security Options....” and choose “Zero Out Data” before click Erase. It will take 1 to 2 hours to complete.
5. Eject your iPod and do a Reset
6. Open the iTunes 7 and click “Restore”
For Window computer
Go to folder “My Computer”
Hope you can see your iPod there and right click on the iPod
Choose “Format”. Ensure the settings are at “Default” and that “Quick Format” is not checked
Now select “Format”
Eject your iPod and do a Reset
Open the iTunes 7 and click “Restore”
In case you do not manage to do a “Format” on a window computer, try to use some 3rd party disk utility software, e.g.“HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool”.

C. Windows users having trouble with their iPods should locate a Mac user. In many cases when an iPod won't show up on a PC that it will show up on the Mac. Then it can be restored. A. Diagnostic mode solution
If you have tried trouble shooting your iPod to no avail after all the steps above, chances are your iPod has a hardware problem. The iPod's built-in Diagnostic Mode is a quick and easy way to determine if you have a "bad" iPod.
You need to restart your iPod before putting it into Diagnostic Mode. Check that your hold switch is off by sliding the switch away from the headphone jack. Toggle it on and off to be safe.
Press and hold the following combination of buttons simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds to reset the iPod.
iPod 1G to 3G: "Menu" and "Play/Pause"
iPod 4G+ (includes Photo, Nano, Video, and Mini): "Menu" and "Select"
The Apple logo will appear and you should feel the hard drive spinning up. Press and hold the following sequence of buttons:
iPod 1G to 3G: "REW", "FFW" and "Select"
iPod 4G+ (includes Photo, Nano, Video, and Mini): "Back" and "Select"
You will hear an audible chirp sound (3G models and higher) and the Apple logo should appear backwards. You are now in Diagnostic Mode. Navigate the list of tests using "REW" and "FFW". Try to do the 5in1, HDD R/W and HDD scan tests. Some successful cases have been reported after the running the few tests under the Diagnostic mode. In case it does not work in your case, and the scan tests reports show some errors then it proves your iPod has a hardware problem and it needs a repairing service.
B. Format your iPod with a start disk
I have not tried this solution myself, I heard that there were few successful cases that the users managed to get their iPod (you must put your iPod in disk mode before connecting with a computer) mounted by the computer, which was booted by a system startup disk. For Mac, you can use the Disk Utility (on the Tiger OS system disk), for PC user, you can use the window OS system disk. Try to find a way to reformat your iPod, again it does not matter which format (FAT32, NTFS or HFS+) you choose, the key is to erase the corrupted system files on the iPod. Then eject your iPod and do a Reset to switch out from Disk Mode. Reboot your computer at the normal way, connect your iPod back with it, open the iPod updater, and hopefully your iPod will appear there for the Restore.
If none of these steps address the issue, your iPod may need to be repaired.

In Hong Kong there are some electronic shops offering an iPod service for Sad iPod, the first thing they do is to open up the iPod’s case and disconnecting the battery and the Hard Drive from the main board of the iPod. Wait for 5-10 minutes and reconnecting them back. The reason behind which I can think of is to do a fully reset of a processor of the iPod. Have I tried these myself? No, I am afraid to do it myself as I am squeamish about tinkering inside electronic devices, I have few experiences that either I broke the parts (which are normally tiny or fragile) or failed to put the parts back to the main case. Try plugging your ipod into your computer. Then start up itunes. Let it load everything. Then click on your ipod and play a song from your ipod's library. Not your itunes library. If it plays the song, then go ahead and stop it, disconnect your ipod, and check the content once again.
I had the same problem and beleive it or not, this worked. I synced my ipod like 5 times before finding this answer on the web. Let me know if I need to clerify anything.

When uninstalling iTunes on your windows computer, there is a specific way it must be done in order to completely uninstall all components of the software. Ensure you follow the article for your correct OS.

The troubling thing to me is the fact that the charger gets extremely hot - according to what you are saying. The charger can get warm and can get fairly warm when the iPad is charging, but it should never get extremely hot. Make an appointment at an Apple Store, take the iPad, the cable and the charger with you and ask them to look at everything for you.

Correct. it does not magially appear in other places. It will only be where you put it.

Correct as well. Iphone will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
You need to copy everything ( itunes library/contacts/pics/calendars/files/docs) from the old computer, or your backup copy of the old one, to the new one.

I have tried a lot of different ways but i cant figure it out?
I can get the sound and animation (timeline) to start playing.
There is no problem to start the video and the animation at the same time.
But i cant get both the video and the audio to start playing when i press a button.
It works great in OSX and on windows?

If the game has sound in it (and possibly even if it doesn't) it may be overriding the Music app and causing it to stop playing - in which case there is nothing that you can do about it.

I am wondering if I can record audio and midi at the same time in Logic 7 Express. I am running my guitar thrugh a Roland GR 33, and a line out and using the GR 33 to trigger sounds in the Logic's synth section but cant seem to record all three tracks at once. If any one knows how let me know. Oh and I am running the GR Synth and Guitar into the Prosonus Fire Fox and have the GR 33 out midi to the Fire Box as well. So I guss the question is how do I sent up two audo tracks and one midi track to record in real time. Thanks Victor

Try arming the audio tracks, select one of the tracks, then while holding down the shift key, select the midi track you want to record, arming the "r" on the midi track. Press "record".....
