Easy Cost Planning version 0 cannot be used in DP81

Dear SAP Expert,
Please advice.
We have requirement to do sales pricing in DP81 with project and inquiry.
Some steps that we are doing :
1. Create Inquiry : VA11
2. Create Project : CJ20n
3. Create cost planning with network activity in CJ20n and use Planning cost version 1. ( We are trying to use more than 1 version, not only version 0)
4. Run DP81. It shows error message no expenditure.
In the config ODP1 ( DIP Profile) , version has been activated.
Is there any solution to use ECP with version more than version 0?

Hi Sanjeev,
Sales Pricing (DP81) can read ECP with standard version 0. The issue is that DP81 cannot read version other then 0.
I need to do planning cost using version other than version 0 ( Actual/Planning version)

KEKO: BZOBJ = 6 for ECP with project system

Material Valuation-Easy Cost Planning Using Valuation Strategy U(Userexit)

Hi Experts,
I am implementing a userexit for CJ20N for Valuation Price with Valuation Strategy U: COPCP005, in that i activated the function exit EXIT_SAPLCK21_002 and wrote my logic in that, i want to use project wise material price instead standard price which is stored in a Z table.
For that i need to identify the project ID inside the function exit, i can get it using the input parameter IMP_AUFNR for WBS with Network, for Easy Cost Planning the same exit is triggered but iam not getting the IMP_AUFNR there, so i want to know how to identify the project inside that function exit.
Could someone suggest me a way to find out the Project ID or description or WBS element inside the function exit.

Easy Cost Planning

Hi ,
I am using Easy cost planning methodlogy for Cost planning.
I need some guidance on following points.
1. Can easy cost plan can be saved in versions ?
2. In CJ30 planned cost I can view in annual view but it doesn't get Summed up at Header level WBS ?
3.After releasing the WBS easy cost plan can be changed How to restrict that ?

Hi Rasam,
You can see the ECP of simulation using CJ20N, or CJ9ECP.
The multiple ecp (MECP) is applied using SAP extenstion, after release 2.0. If you can check the system status of your system, you can find out, if the EA_APPL (at least 2.0 release) is applied your system or not. IF yes, you can find the corresponding customizing to active the MECP.
If MECP is active, you can then determine in which version should be ECP maintained. You get an additional POP UP screen to let you select the CO version, as you lauch to the ECP in CJ20N or CJ9ECP.

Easy cost Planning & Network Costing

Dear All
In one Project can we use both Easy cost Planning & Network Costing. Easy cost planning is generally used when you have structure with WBS only. Network cost planning is a combination of group of activities, all these having their relevant cost elements/ work center combination. can we manage both this in one project. If it possible please explain in detail.

What is your business requirement ? It depends on that. Yes your understanding is quite correct. We use easy cost planning in the initial phase of project. Easy cost planning can be done in various versions including 0 plan / actaul version. If you does easy cost planning in 0 along with network costin you will double up lannning cost.
Network costing can only be done in plan / actual version 0 only.
Best approach is to use easy cost plnnaing as rough cut level apart from 0 version. And use network costing. However it may very a/c to business requirement.

I am testing easy cost planning and I see that to use easy cost planning, I have to unmark the flag for "Integrated PLanning", this leeds to no creation of line items in planification. Does anyone know if there is a way to use easy cost planning with integrated planning?

Easy Cost Planning at Network Level

Hi All,
I was able to implement ECP at WBS level, but not able to implement at network level. I am using SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 4.
I have activated the business function ops_ps_ci_1 and also activated the 'Activate Planning for Network Activities with Easy Cost Planning' in the configuration settings in SPRO-IMG. I had gone through most of the threads on this topic like :

I am not able to find the option for 'Create Alternate CO Version' and 'Activate Multiple CO Version' under the Easy Cost Planning and Execution Services in SPRO-IMG.Please advise me in implementing Easy Cost Planning at Network Level and correct me if I was wrong in completing the configuration steps.

Unable to update revenue plan values in Easy Cost Planning

Hi,
Business maintains planned costs and revenues on WBS element using Easy Cost Planning tool. But for one of the WBS element system is not allowing to update/add planned revenue line items.User is able to update the planned costs for this WBS element.
The Legend in Easy Cost Planning screen is Non-Changeable Cost Estimate.
The status of WBS is REL,ACPT(Order Accepted),NSCH(Not Scheduled - Forecast Dates),RESA(Result Analysis Carried out).
We have checked all the business process and all the revenue planning is allowed.
Please guide us on how to resolve this issue.

This is resolved...Select the WBS and click on CLOSE icon to reset the cost estimate. This allows to plan revenues again.

How to add "Cost Plan Version" and "Planned Cost" into CNE5 report?

Plan versions: A plan version is created in accounting and stores different cost plans for a project, such as an "optimistic" and a "pessimistic" plan.
Now coming to plan version 0 is verson where actaul cost is updated in your organisation.
Plan version 1 is used for the planning...
How to see the same in CJE5 is suggested by Virendra..
However there is no filed name planned cost in report but the name of the filed is Proj.cost sched.000
with which you can achieve your result.
path is run txn CJE5>give your Project no.> F8> in new screen> F5-->in new Window scroll down in the right side for the Proj.cost sched.000 filed > with select take the same to left side>Enter--> values will displyed for this field in your report.
similarly you can use the other fields as well... take help of F4, to know the meaning of fileds.

Adding Z-field in tcode CJ9ECP - Easy Cost Planning,

Dear ABAPers,
I have a requirement where I need to display (Display only) MPN (Mat Part no) in Easy Cost Planning screen.
I have extended CI_KISU and CI_CKIS`structure with a new Z-field for MPN and the field is displayed on the screen without any value.
However, which BADI to implement to fetch the MPN.
Should I implement BADI GUI_ITEMIZATION_CK or CP_ADD_FUNCTIONS_CK,
If anyone have done similar taks, would you please share the code of the method, and other information , which method to use and how to go about it.

EASY COST PLANNING at Network Activity Level

I am using EHP4 system. I want to do easy cost planning at NWA level for this I already activate ECP for NWA in configuration setting and other necessary settings but still when I create ECP from CJ20N or CJ9ECP I can not able to do ECP on NWA activity level. Please give your inputs on same.

All basic settings for ECP have been maintain. It allow me for ECP on WBS level but it not show me any activity or Network in ECP as I activate Planning for Network Activities with Easy Cost Plan in configuration.

Easy Cost Planning & Project Stock

Dear Experts,
I am using Easy cost planning for WBS cost planning and Project definition control data tab page has Valuated Project stock selected.My costing model had an external procurement material for which I generated PR & PO thru Execution services.But the account assignment in my PR & PO was P with the corresponding WBS as account assignment and not Q.
I have two question regarding this,
1) Does it mean that while using ECP, Project stock concept will not work?
2)How can we get the pop up of procurement type options(like Res + PR for WBS element) while generating PR through execution services?

I tried your scenario is my system.
whenever i am changing P to Q in Config in SPRO,It is giving an error that "The selected account assignment category is not supported" that means it is not meant for Q but i double click for object type PR WBS Element and changed Acct Assgmt Cat to Q then system allowed me to save.
The i create a PR and WBSE is coming in the Account Assignement ,then i converted PR to PO and then i recived goods as project stock.when i issued the material in ECP it is not issuing from Project stock because 221 Q is not present in Config for SPRO so it is issuing from Normal stock so special stock from ECP is not supported.
But you can manually issue the material to the WBSE in MIGO/MB1A by 221 Q.

Easy cost planning - cost element

Hi,
while creating an easy cost planning using a cost template, the system proposes a cost element (linked to the activity type). Can we propose by default another cost element ? (using a user exit ?) We tried to do it in the derivation rules for the cost template, but didn 't had any luck..

Easy Cost Planning - Passing info down the hierarchy

Is it possible in Easy Cost Planning to pass characteristics down the hierarchy for use lower down.
For example, enter the dimensions at the top level and have them passed down for use in calculations lower down the hierarchy?
