Newbie question here what's the difference between Easy Ease vs Easy Ease In/Out?

Easy Ease creates an ease on both sides of the keyframe. Ease In adds it before the keyframe. Ease out adds it after the keyframe.
Easy Ease is a combination of Ease In and Ease Out.

How Can You Disable Ease-In and Ease-Out Of Ken Burns

It seems that along with everything else that has changed with iMovie version 10, when you add photos to the timeline it automatically places an ease-in and ease-out to the Ken Burns move. For those of you who have been on a Mac for a while, this was how iMovie behaved in version 6 and earlier, and it feels rather dated.
If you are putting together a video slide show with multiple photos back to back, having the zoom ease in and out for every image is incredibly obnoxious. I can see situations when you are providing a narrative that it might be important, but often photos are just being animated to music. Is there a way to disable the easing or am I just best keeping to iMovie 9.0.9?

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It does look like this is the default behavior for imported pictures in iMovie 10, and can't be disabled from the iMovie preferences. The best workaround is to select all of the pictures in your timeline and turn off the Ken Burns effect using the Adjust menu.

Modify a crop, rotation, or Ken Burns effect
In the timeline, select the photos you want to modify or restore to their original state.
Click the Adjust button in the toolbar.
The adjustments bar appears above the clip in the viewer.
To show the cropping controls, click the Cropping button.
In the cropping controls, change Style from Ken Burns to Fit to display the pictures in their original size. From there, you can crop them individually as needed.

Ease In and Ease Out

Is there a way to change the speed or duration of the "ease in" and "ease out" options in regards to motion effects?

Click the twirly triangle next to the keyframe stopwatch of the property you want to change. The speed/velocity graph will appear. You'll see handles attached to each keyframe, and you can drag these to alter the ramping. Hold down the Control key to split the handles.

Does PS CC have "ease in" and "ease out" feature for motion?

I'm trying to learn about the video timeline in CC and expect to see an "ease in" and "ease out" feature? Is it hidden somewhere?
Where can I find some in-depth tutorials on video animation in Photoshop CC?

I don't do video however I would think for video to do something like that. You may need a real video editor like Adobe Premiere Pro and After effects to add an effect like that.. To simulate slow motion frame would need to be added and if there is audio some gaps may need to be added. Photoshop only support basic video editing some transforming and filters. trimming and joining with transitions.
With a Frame animation you can display frames at different rates or durations. Perhaps you could create a frame animation with the effect you want then convert that to video timeline and add an audio track. I have not tried to do anything like that. It should be possible for I have converted a frame animation to a video timeline and rendered a video.

Keyboard shortcut for "Ease in" and "Ease out"?

Just wondering if there's a way to map keys for ease in/ease out instead of right clicking keyframes and navigating there.

I use Ease-In/Out dissolves hundreds of times per project, week in and week out. I've made a simple preset for it. One for Fading in and one for fading out. Drag and drop anywhere on the clip and it snaps to the start and end of the clip as you need it. It's not a keyboard shortcut which would certainly be nice, but it was easier than manually doing it hundreds of times.
One thing I don't like is that I sometimes click on the Preset accidentally and then hit a keyboard button and it's suddenly changed the Preset name to the keyboard key that I hit (usually the space bar) because when you click on a preset twice you can change it's name. I know that sounds dumb and petty, but it happens to my assistant editors every so often as well since they too have to use these dissolves a ton. I wish the only way to rename Presets was by right-clicking on it and having a "rename" selection to prevent the issue I described. It's the little things that sometimes make a big difference so I think I'll submit a FR. Followers welcome.

Easy way to get a print out of my iTunes library

I want to get a printout of my library -- it's not big; maybe 1400 songs. I've not found an easy way to do it. The best I could come up with was to create a playlist that contains every song in my library and then print out that playlist.
It sounded good until I tried to execute it. I can't find a way to move songs in bulk into a playlist. I had presumed I could just do a CTRL-A, then paste the list into the playlist. Nope. It seems the only way to do it is to move each song into the playlist manually. That's way too much like work.
I'm not much of a computer person, so I need you to speak slowly and use small words.
I have my physical files on a Windows 7 machine and sync the family's iPads, etc from there. I'm running iTunes 11.1.1.11.

P.S. The OS list in the drop down menu stops at iOS 5.1.1. I'm actually on iOS 7.0.3

I think only some places get a sim card tool with their Iphone, I didn't. It's easy just push a paperclip firmly into the slot and it'll pop out.

Can I turn off "ease in" and "ease out" on the Ken Burns Effect?

Keyframing used to be so much more precise in FCP but all keyframes seem to have ease in and out by default. Is there a way to just have a constant speed when panning my images using ken burns (or any other way)?

I'm looking for the same thing. Even if you use the position setting it always starts from a stop and eases in.. And not a great ease.. When I right click the keyframes in the viewer and alter the handles, it still does a wierd move. I miss the old controls...
What I usually do (which takes more time, is add time to the in and out of my shot, then fade them out and fade them in after the move has already started.. Creates a bit of a mess on the timeline but it works..
My guess is that Apple is trying to move everyone to Motion5 to do ANY thing cool.. But it still doesn't intergrate properly.

Can we configure EAS and Shared services wih out a Database

Can any one please let me know if we can configure Essbase administration servies ans Shared services with out giving Database details while configuring.
If Database schema is not yet ready to use, is it possible to configure EAS and login to Essbase to create an outline with dimension building and Dataloading.

I doubt it as when you start up the web applications they try and communicate with the databases, if they fail then the web app won't start up fully.

Some (Probably Easy) Issues I Can't Figure Out...

So I installed my new Arch Linux system today, and I am willing to say I got it 90% done. I chose KDE as my environment but I have the following issues:
1.) I have the desktop set up as a traditional desktop. Whenever I save or delete files to or from my desktop, they are still there until I rightclick the desktop and click "refresh". I had this same problem in Kubuntu (which is where I'm coming from) and the KDE 4.3.2 update fixed it, but it doesn't appear to be fixed in Arch unless I did something wrong.
2.) Whenever I install new programs, they do not show up in my KDE menu until I logout and log in again.
3.) Finally, whenever I go into kmenuedit to edit my menu I get the error "Unable to contact khotkeys. Your changes are saved, but they could not be activated". Everything appears to be working fine. (Note: I haven't actually edited my kmenu yet, when I seen that error I stopped what i was up to).
I hope you guys can help me get rid of those small but irritating problems. I'm new to Arch and I am liking what I see so far!

It's possible that the W2 you used was set up with the EchoSign service. It allows you to draw a signature with a mouse. This is available as well with more recent versions of Reader (10.1+) if the form isn't Reader-enabled or secured. You will see this in the Sign panel when the document is opened in Reader.
You can otherwise get an EchoSign account and upload your document and send it to your customers through the EchoSign service. You can establish a free account to see how it works.

Do not matter to pay for it! It needs to be easy for uploading from within Aperture if possible, easy for the receiver to open the imagefiles, to download them on theit own computer. I do a lot of pictures when travelling with my friens. They ask me for images but it's to difficult to transmit a batch of high definition images. Can you help me out?

A shared Photo Stream usually works very well for what the OP seems to have in mind -- I use several -- but the shared files are not what one would usually call "high definition images". If the reduction is size is not a problem, a shared Photo Stream should be tried.

Problems easing in/out for ken burns effect

I love FCP, but this has been driving me crazy for the past year or so!
I have to edit a lot of presentations with maps and still pictures, and I often need to zoom in or out to a specific part of a still. Easing in and out of keyframes looks much better than sudden movements, but because "Scale" beziers are time-based and "Center" beziers are space-based, it's practically impossible to coordinate the scale and the movement.
Does anybody know of a viable way to ease in or out while ken burnsing in FCP?
BTW I LOVE Motion and I know it can do this, but for one of the simplest and most commonly needed editing tasks, creating every shot in Motion would be unnecessarily tedious and seems like overkill.

Here are my two workarounds to smooth out the "slide" that happens due to the fact that you can only "ease" scale and not motion keyframes.
1. simple - keyframe the anchor point, or just move it where the center of the zoom is supposed to be. This is easily done with the disort tool, but dragging the anchor point can be tricky if the image is very high-res, as it will keep showing you a different part of the image as you drag it around.
2. tricky - keyframe the motion as you normally would, and bring up the motion path in the canvas (wireframe). Notice that there are bezier handles on either end of the motion path. Swing out one of the handles away from the straight motion path, which will temporarily curve your motion path. Notice that in addition to the point you can grab on the end of the handle, there is also a round point in the middle of the handle. Grab the point in the middle of the handle and slide it along the handle - you'll see the points on the mition path compress towards one end or the other. This has the same effect as easing the motion in or out. When you are done adjusting, you can drag the handle back to straighten out the motion path.
Since it is possible to adjust the speed of a motion path in this way, I have no idea why they have never tried to allow this to simply be eased in the motion tab. But if I could do that kind of math in my head I would be a computer instead a lowly user. It's too bad that this is one of those things that looks great when you see it in the interface - "oh, smooth, that sounds nice" but then if you try to smooth the zoom and keyframe the x:y position, you'll get the "slide" every time. Very distracting and really never what you want.
Hope your plugin is easier to use than my workaround.

Add ease in/out to curves when animating scale?

Im trying to animate the scale and position of a clip to go from full screen to the top corner. The position keys seem to have an automatic ease in and ease out to their curves. Scale seems dead linear. Needless to say the finished effect looks awful. The Video Animation editor doesnt appear to allow me to access the curves for transform. This is ridiculous! Am I doing something wrong? Anyone know of a workaround?

Yes, it should be more flexible. But all is not lost.
You just have to add a few more keyframes along the way to get a more nuanced variation. Not as elegant nor as easy as handling some Bezier curve, for sure. But you don't have to resign to setting one keyframe at the beginning and one at the end and let FCP X scale linearly.

Easing into and out of transitions

I have looked at the tutorials for Time remapping, but they arent helping with what i need to do. i am trying to wipe a title on. I would like for it to not stop so abruptly at the end of the Transition Wipe. Is there a way to ramp the speed down as it gets closer to the end of the wipe. In AVID we had the Ease In and Ease out options. Apprecuiate the help if anybody knows this. i amsure its something simple.

One cannot keyframe transitions.
Easy in/out are only for effects.
Try the Linear Wipe which is keyframable.

I've been using animation applications for about 20 years now and, for whatever reason, Flash CS5's ease in/out feature has got me stumped.
I have a simple text Movieclip that comes from the left, off stage, and moves to the right onto the stage and stops. I want to ease it so it slows down to a stop.
I'm using Flash CS5 with the new tween.
When I click on the tween in the timeline, the ease property in the Properties Inspector doesn't give me what I want. If I put 100, it comes in and stops hard. If I give it a -100, it slowly accelerates to full speed and then stops suddenly.
I've read the tutorial for the new Motion Editor in Flash and it doesn't work like any other motion editor I've used, including Adobe's own After Effects. Normally, you would just click on the graph's line and then curve it with a pen tool or right-click on select bezier...

The property inspector applies ease across the entire tween span, so you're correct that it's not going to give you what you're after. One of the things about the new tweens is it's applying the animation to an entire object, which gives us complexities about trying to do things like ease between property keyframes. We know we need to make this workflow better, and have many ideas around this, hopefully it'll be a reality in a future release soon.
So for now, when easing non-spatial properties (anything other than X, Y, Z), you can use the bezier to adjust the curve. For spatial properties (X, Y, Z) you can switch between smooth and linear curve but not use bezier handles. The reason for this is Flash has stage editing - in order to have both stage editing and control in the graphs, you can either have one or the other. Because Flash users are so accostomed to Stage editing, we went with that and turned of spatial control in the ME (otherwise, Math takes over the handles and you can't really adjust them as you expect). And also because adjusting those curves in the ME rarely gets a user what they're typically after (which is the correct result, technically/mathematically speaking).
Anyway, long story short - if you're doing ease in/out, you may just want to use one of the "Stop and Start" eases, which is an S curve and is ease in and ease out. Just add it to your tween, set the value, and then apply it to the properties you need it on.
Or, you can add a Custom ease and use the bezier controls (keyframes will snap to keyframes in the properties of the tween), and then apply it to your properties.
If you aren't trying to ease a spatial property, you can adjust the curves using beziers, which is a good way of applying ease between keyframes as you note.
