Wizards put some entries/objects on both the Workbench and Cust requests !
Once you generate the Objects(Extensions), you will see that !
Steps involved :
1. Select the filter Worklist and enter your name in the input field of the object list selection. Press the enter key. Your object list is displayed.
2.     Place your cursor on the highest node(PROJECT BY XXXXXX). Select Create project from the context menu by right-clicking on it. You see the dialog box Create project.
3.   Enter a project name, description, packages, and namespaces for each system used. Leave the dialog box by pressing the enter key.
Specify transport requests. The Project is created and appears in the object list.
  4.      Place your cursor on the new project in the object list and select Create extension in the context menu. You see the dialog box Create extension.
  5.      Enter a name and description. Define a Business Object and extension type. Press the enter key.The extension is created and appears in the object list below the project.
  6.      Place your cursor on the new extension in the object list and select Call wizard in the context menu.  The wizard for the extension action starts automatically.
    7.      Fill in the input fields following the notes on screen and end the wizard by clicking on Complete. The extension tasks have been created and appear in the object list.
Project and extension are created !
I hope this helps !
Thanks

    I have two questions :
    - it's possible to add these fields not in
basic data tab but in another my own new tab?
    - how can i add multichoice fields?
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to use Easy Enhancement Workbench (eew)

    Dear Sir,
Can you advise how to use Easy Enhancement Workbench in CRM. ?
Is it good tool or not.
    Plase advise.
    Thank you and best regard,
    Vimol

The Easy Enhancement Workbench is a development environment with wizards, with which you can easily extend certain standard SAP business objects with user-defined data fields and tables. Customer Objects, such as database tables and screens, are created by a generator, and all customer exits are implemented. This functions system-wide, that is, when extending a CRM system you can also execute extensions in the connected SAP R/3 OLTP system.
Some examples of the functions generated for the Easy Enhancement Workbench:
    <u>1. DDIC extensions</u>
    - Application table
    - Data elements and domains
    - Check table for fields
    - Search help
<u>2. Interface (SAP GUI):</u> screens, function modules, entries in BDT control tables
<u>3. APIs for reading, changing, deleting</u>
To access the Easy Enhancement Workbench, use transaction code <b>eewb</b>.
i get this information from CRM modul -> CR100
    Hope this information help u.
    Best Regards

  • Easy enhancement workbench help

    Dear All,
I want to extend the business partner with some additional fields. I don't know how to do this with easy enhancement workbench. Can any body provide me the steps or document regarding this.
    With advance thanks,
    Sujith

    Hi Sujith,
EEWorkbench (tcode - EEWB) adds custom fields in the GUI. Use the Business Object - Business Partner and Extension Type - Add New Attributes (or table if you want to create a table) in the wizard that comes up when you create a new project. This wizard creates necessary objects like DDIC tables/structures, function modules and so on, which you may enhance if you want to use custom logic for the extended fields.
If you want to make these fields available in PCUI, refer to the blog writen by Tiest van Gool -https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/2040. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
If you need a EEWB how-to document, send ur email id.

  • Enhancements with the Easy Enhance - Transactions

    Hi,
In CRM 2007, I have noticed a separate section of enhancing transactions alone.
IMG->Customer Relationship Management-> Transactions-> Basic Settings-> Enhancements with the Easy Enhancement Workbench
How is this different from adding fields to transaction using TCODE EEWB ? Has anyone used this feature ?
    Regards

    Hi,
One of the methods for displaying additional data on existing Business Transaction (One Order, Oppurtunity etc.,)is to enhance the component using EEWB and the system takes care of most of the things.
All we need to do is generate the required methods at the Component Work Bench and add the field on to the UI.
    Using the path you mentioned,
existing standard components or custom created components be assigned to a component and can be displayed on the UI. For this settings need to be maintained in SPRO.
I believe this can be done only for Business Transactions like One Order etc.,
Just explore the path you mentioned.

  • SAP CRM Interactive reporting Enhancement Workbench - How does it work?

    Hi Everyone,
I am trying to enhance the SAP given reporting areas in CRM Interactive Reporting tool. I have the SAP documentation, I know I have to use transaction code CRMD_IREW; but I am not sure of the rest of the steps SAP has given.
Does anyone has any experience with this; can anyone share their thoughts and possible configuration steps and if possible please give a brief overview of how the fields get added to the reporting area, do they get added to the datasources first and then we need to manually add them to the virtual cubes and also in BEx query and then it gets reflected in Reporting area or how does it work?
Any inputs will be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks & Regards,
    SRV

    Hi,
In general, we add enhanced field to extract structure by appending method.
later we  can implement logic at COMD or by using BADI to fill the data for added field.
do test run at RSA3 and replicate into bw side.
About CMOD Logic, WIth help abap epxert you need to find relation between data source base tables and added field base table. then only we can fill data to into it.
Can we know what is your data source?
Which field you want add from which table?
    Thanks

  • Getting started with Easy Enhancement Work Bench EEWB

Can anyone give me some pointers with regards to how do I get started with using EEWB for SAP CRM 2007. I would appreciate any pointers which help me with very basic elements of EEWB like

    3. right-click on Project by <your_username> and choose Create Project
    4. enter all required fields
    5. right-click on appeared project and  choose Create Extention
    6. enter fields and the Wisard will start

  • Easy Enhacement Workbench - Transport request going in error

    Hi All,
I have created a Date Field from EEW. This date field is used for CRM Business Activities. I have used the Wizard for creating this date field. I wanted the Date field to be relevant for BW so marked it accordingly.
I have transported both the requests (Customizing and Workbench). The workbench request got transported with error - Method Execution - for ACTIVITY_OBJECT. So we created a new project and activated the objects using Tcode GN_START. The second transport was completed with warning -
Field name FROM is reserved (Do not use structure as include in DB table)
When I go to the Test client, I see that the Customer Field Tab Page is available but the "Date" field is not there on the tab.
Is there something I have missed out that prevents the "Date" Field from transporting to the Test Client?
    All help is welcome.
    Warm Regards
    Sulakshana

    Hi,
I found the solution. Hope it helps those who need it.
Issue - Could not view fields generated thru EEWB even after transports were successful
solution - go to Tcode EEWC - map the systems.
    System Type      CRM System
    System Role      Development System
    Description      enter the system desc
Logical system   enter your logical system     Destination
    SAP R/3 Release
    Namespace        Z
    Short Namespace  Z
with the correct mapping you will be able to see the fields
you can also refer to the following notes

  • Easy Enhancement workbanch

    Hey
    I got a simple question.
Is it possible to enhance business transaction in CRM by adding new field with EEW?
I would like to have some additional fields aldo on screen in CIC0 transaction
in transaction detail - details Tab and Activity data section?
    When it comes to screen?
Is it possible to put additional fields where I wish or they are added automatically
    in some defined places?
Is there any other tool besides EEW for enhencing crm objects by additional fields?
    Thanks for help

    Hi Tiest,
Could you please help me on this.
I am having similar kind of problem and this weblog is helping me a lot.
I am successful in creating of the actual extension but problem in extension of the PC-UI Application.
Using EEWB I have created an extension for Business partner using ADD_NEW_FIELDS for contact types, and I am able to see that on BP transaction as addition tab page and corresponding pages.
It created a table CI_EEW_BUT000 and that is being used in following structures
    BSS_CENTI
    BUS000ADAT
    BUS000_EEW
    BUS_EI_BUPA_CENTRAL
    BUS_EI_BUPA_CENTRAL_DATA
    BUS_EI_CENTRAL_DATA
    BUS_EI_EXTERN
    COMT_BSP_BP_SEAREQ_DIVERSE
    CRMST_HEADER_OBJECT_BUIL
    CRMT_BSP_SEAREQ_DIVERSE
    CRMT_BUS_CENTRAL
    CRMT_BUS_CENTRAL_AND_GROUP
    CRMT_BUS_CENTRAL_AND_ORG
    CRMT_BUS_CENTRAL_AND_PERSON
    CRMXIF_PARTNER_COMPLEX
From the above screen structures i am using screen structure as CRMT_BUS_CENTRAL to create Field group.
In field group structure, all the fields have been added.
While generating the layout I got the message ‘No field group was selected in the blueprint table’.
How do I correct this error.
    Thanks

  • EEWB Enhancement Error while adding new field

    Hello Experts ,
The requirement is to add the attachment feild in the support desk message screen (CRMD_ORDER) in the Fast track tab , although in the transaction tab already the document option is available for attachments the end user's want it in intial screen.
I have tried this using EASY ENHANCEMENT WORKBENCH - EEWB as per the suggestions given by experts in SDN,now i face a problem in EEWB .
I have created a object and extention in EEWB under a project, the it took me to the wizard automatically ,i followed up the notes in wizard  to ADD_NEW_FIELDS and after it is completed, it shows a ERROR message as "Definition CRM_BTX_ADD_NEW_FIELDS is of the type 'TSK' and should run on an external system. This is not permissible. Only definitions of type 'SEQ' may be created for external systems." What does this Error Mean?Should i have to follow any system settings for this?
Note : I have made the  system settings in EEWC -System Data Maintenence      before enhancement.
Has any one worked with EEWB to ADD new fields,if so then please give me a solution to solve this problem.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mohana Priya

    Hi Priya,
We are also facing similar error in EEWB. If you have solved this problem, please update thread.

  • Enhancement of crmd_customer_h not working

    Hi all,
I modified a custom append structure on crmd_customer_h. Used a where-used list on one of the already present custom fields to check which other structures I also have to enhance.
Now I included these fields in CIC screen, but when it tries to put these data in the internal layer with   PERFORM data_put(saplcrm_opport_ui) it clears them
When I debug I can see that the structure is supplied tot this perform with the values but eventually crm_order_maintain is not used to place this data for the transaction.
What could be the reason that this isn't working.
    Additional info:
I first tried to use the Easy enhancement workbench to create the new fields by using the wizard, but first it complained that you can't enhance crmd_customer_h with a Z* package. so I did all the work again, but then with the package CRM_CUSTOMER_H and then it complained, can't create Z table with this package.
That's the reason why I used an existing, working enhancement for customer_h and enhanced that one.

    Update and issue solved
During debugging I found out that FM CRM_MAP_ITF_READ is used to retrieve the input fields for the transaction.
In this FM a view is read to retrieve the input fields for this UI structure.
I manually extended the table with an entry to see if this worked, and it did.
So i will put the rest of the fields in it and create a manual transport entry with the key fields of the table.
    Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

for which no standard exits are available.
    help me in this
       with regards,

    HI,
There is a standard SAP provided tool to enhance screens i.e. Easy Enhancement Workbench. You can goto TCODE - EEWB and create your own project and add the custom fields to the any transaction
    code.
