I just want to specify where the bleed will be. Thaaank you.

in the print dialog box you can grab the Color Managment drop down and get to the output options.
set your bleed and turn on the Crop Marks toggle and you will be able to see where you bleed marker is landing.

Upon exporting files, there is a dropdown menu that says "Type," but there is only default. How do I add Japanese cropmarks (I think they are called Tombo.mrk) to indesign?

Quick and easy question - I hope

I have a Macbook Pro with the 100Gb hard drive. I run boot camp and XP on it, so it has 2 partitions. I am looking to upgrade to a 200Gb hard drive. I am wondering what program (Disk utility?) could I use to get my hard drive info from the old to the new. I don't just want to move data I want to move the whole OS prefs and all.
I do have an external hard drive big enough to tackle this problem, but what do I do about the parition? My old HD has a 12Gb partition for XP, but if I move to the 200Gb I want to make the partition bigger, more like 60Gb.
I am trying to figure out what to do without using 10million CD or DVD's and having to reinstall certain programs.
I know to some this may seem simple, but I am very busy right now and my mind is elsewhere and I am drawing a blank. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

There are a variety of alternatives. If you have a Firewire case you can install the old drive in the Firewire case and install the new drive in the computer. Then boot from the external Firewire drive and clone OS X to the new drive. Then use Boot Camp to create a new Windows partition on the new drive. Boot from the Window's system on the external Firewire drive and use a Window's backup utility to transfer the Windows system to the Windows partition on the new drive.
This hint covers such backups and the like.
Obviously, you could also clone your current system to your existing external drive as well as the Windows backup rather than getting a Firewire enclosure for the laptop drive.
How to Clone Using Restore Option of Disk Utility
1. Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
2. Select the backup or destination volume from the left side list.
3. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (journaled, if available) and click on the Erase button. This step can be skipped if the destination has already been freshly erased.
4. Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
5. Select the backup or destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
6. Select the startup or source volume from the left side list and drag it to the Source entry field.
7. Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
8. Select the destination drive on the Desktop and press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. At the bottom in the Ownership and Permissions section be sure the box labeled "Ignore Permissions on this Volume" is unchecked. Verify the settings for Ownership and Permissions as follows: Owner=system with read/write; Group=admin with read/write; Other with read-only. If they are not correct then reset them.
For added precaution you can boot into safe mode before doing the clone.

Easy one I hope: How do I change text color?

For the life of me I can't seem to find anything with a color pallette (except for background fill). I need to change text color but don't know where to find it. Everything's always black. When I highlight the text, and goto "Font", I see something that looks like the "Select Text Color" (like the one above but as soon as you mouse over it, it turns to a crossed-out "ABC", and can't get the pallette.

Question: Are these fields that you had changed the type of in the Object Pallet/Field Tab/Type ? If so, try deleting the object and put a new one in its place from the Object Library.
If no, what sort of parent do these items have? Table Row? or SubForm?

Easy question (i hope)

After downloading a certain driver, uhh, im not really sure how to install it. I got the VGA controller driver for the K7N2 series and it was a rar archive. I double-clicked it and put the files into a temporary folder. There was no file that said "setup" or "install" or anything. Someone please take 2 min and tell me how to install this. I'd be really greatful. Thanks in advance!!

1. What is a RAR file

Welcome to the forum.
As Steve points out, that is "editing."
One can use either of two Tools in PrE, to Trim the Clip to suit.
First, one can Dbl-click on the Clip in the Project Panel to open it in the Source Monitor, which looks a bit like the Program Monitor, but it has the In & Out Point settings. When that Clip has been Trimmed, as needed in the Source Monitor, just drag it to the Timeline.
Or, one can drag the Clip to the Timeline, and then click+drag on the Head of the Clip to set its In Point, and on the Tail, to set the Out Point.

When you can answer the questions you can then add a rescue email address for potential future use - from here :
Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.

How do I add Crop Marks? If it is possible, can I also set the bleed at .125"?

I have multiple Apple devices using the same Apple ID for all devices. I work in the Middle East and my wife is in Russia. I would like to Facetime between my different devices. Is this possible with all devices registered with the same Apple ID. It is just easier for find my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air and for purchasing Apps. Is this possible and how do I set it up.

Create Apple IDs for everyone individually and use that in Settings > Facetime, Settings > Messages, Settings > Game Center but keep the Apple ID used for app and content purchases in Settings > iTunes and App Stores

Easy question - how to increase number of recent files in menu?

This is for CS5 if it matters.
I'm an infrequent Illustrator user (at best) but I have what I hope is an easy question: I want to increase number of recent files showing in the menu.
I can't find a preferece to set such as in PS and almost every other application on the face of the earth. I've tried to reset the preferences file (start Illustrator with ctrl-alt-shift held down) but I'm stuck at 4 files, which I assume is the anemic default option.
Is there an easy way to do this that Adobe has hidded somewhere? As expected, it can't be found in the help, I can't find it on the forums, or even on the net, but I do know it can be done because I can see other installs showing lots of files in the list.

This might be because of a new feature that you can turn off for each object, and alltogether. When you create a new document at the bottom, make sure 'Align New Objects to Pixel Grid' is unchecked. After you have created a new file, you can still go into the 'TRANSFORM' palette (SHIFT+8), use the little right top menu, and make sure 'Align New Objects to Pixel Grid' is unchecked. And if you want to get fancy with each object; you can select an object, and look at the 'TRANSFORM' palette at the bottom is a place to uncheck the 'Align to Pixel Grid' at your disposall.
Before I found this, it ruined my week.
