Ok so i have the new Airport Express 802.11n jobbie and i have just managed to set it up with my BT homehub
the green light is on and its working (i think)
Ok so the reasons i bought it was.
1) love the wireless printing idea
2) love the wireless music idea
3) to plug an Ethernet Voip phone into (the home hub is in another room)
4) i got it for £52.95
ok so i have connected it in client mode (i think) where all the computers (theres is 3 of them in our house) connect to the homehub and so does the airport.
What i want to know is how do i stop the other 2 computers using the airtunes and the wireless printing features. Basically i want the airport to myself for my home office which it was bought for and don't want everyone else stealing the features.

Easy Questions....But not easy answers
Since you have configured the AirPort Express in the home office as a client on the network, it's going to be visible and accessible from any other devices on the network. There's no way to change this or prevent access to the office AirPort Express.
If...you configure the office AirPort Express to "create a wireless network", and set it up with a different wireless network name and password, you could create a "private" network for yourself.
Here, I am assuming that the stereo is connected to the office AirPort Express, is that correct?
The downside to this approach is that you would not have internet access on this network.
If...you connected the AirPort Express to the HomeHub using an ethernet connection, you might be able to access the internet from your "private" network. I say might because I don't know enough about the HomeHub to know whether this would be allowed. I think you should assume that it can't to keep expectations at a realistic level.

Log data changes
The logging flag defines whether changes to the data records of a table should be logged. If logging is activated, every change (with UPDATE, DELETE) to an existing data record by a user or an application program is recorded in a log table in the database.

1) Oracle form: acts like an user interface between data base and user input. User can Query the data and view the under lying data.Basically Oracle forms are front end tools for user interaction and application setup.
Oracle Report: is the reporting component in EBS, where in when the user gets the data based on the parameters provided.

1020/WP questions, please answer!

Im thinking of buying a Lumia 1020, even though its ugly as he** and 0,5 inch too big. I wished it was in the same shell as my old 808 PureView which fit in ONE hand and no sharp corners which makes my hand bleed after sms´ing alot.... Whatta great phone that 808 PureView was btw! Also battery could be removed...
Here is my BIG question!
Can I have multiple Hotmail emails accounts active in my 1020 phone and does all accounts support IMAP so all personal folders and EVERYTHING are downloaded into my phone, not just the basic folders and first 25 or 50 mails? This worked on the N8 and my 808 for a couple of years and all folders were constantly synced in real time until Nokia did some secret change which only allowed 15min, 30 min sync and only basic folders were updated, not even read mails were indicated as read but as new until I read the min the phone too.
And Im NOT talking about ExchangeAutoSync now...which for some reason only can handle one account(!?)
There are smaller Lumias but sadly Nokia ofcoarse make everything else smaller too, like the camera which is the big reason I wanna buy the 1020...and for the WP system which give me access to things on the internet I could not acces with Belle.
I have no Ideas how the WP email gadget looks or work, so can someone please explain and or show me? Im totally new to the WP, is there something the Belle had which WP dont have? Any other big differences between the 808 PureView and the 1020?

You can create more Hotmail accounts yes, how many mails are available on the phone (from how far back) depends on settings and not on mail count. You can access any folder in the Hotmail/Outlook.com/Live account.

EASY QUESTION-PLEASE HELP ME!

Hello. I work in Clear Lake Iowa and do creative media for a software company. I'm making a promo video in AE, and I'm just learning AE. I wanted to learn how to make 3D text with no plug-ins first so I followed some on-line tutorial and created the text in a project. The problem is, I have no idea about how duplicate the final result so I can keep adding more text than just the one word that I created during the tutorial. When I duplicate the comp and change the text, the original word changes, so I cant add multiple words with the same 3D effect. I attached a screen shot of my project and if any of you have time maybe you could tell me how I can duplicate multiple text layers so I can use the same settings on multiple words. All I want to do is make mutiple words with the same 3D text style! I'm about to start drinking at work!! Thanks so much!!!! Rob

haha for me, i set a screen lock combination on my Ipod and thought it would be fun to make my brother guess the combo. How was i to know that it would freeze after multiple wrong guesses! i left it for quiet awhile thinking it would unfreeze but it didnt! IPOD DOCK QUESTION-please answer

This might sound stupid but I got a new ipod dock for Christmas and I've taken it "on and off" the charger a few times to take my ipod with me and then put it back on so I can wake up to it the next morning. Does that hurt the ipods battery or is that OK for it? (do you know what I mean)?

It's not hard to work out from the above links, but just for you:
Generally no. It doesn't hurt to keep removing and re-docking the ipod in a powered dock as the ipod used a lithium based battery that doesn't need to be completely drained to recharge every time. It is designed to be topped up as you see fit.
However it is recommended that you drain and charge from empty to 'condition' the battery every month or so that will help to prolong the life. More so if you don't use it for a while.

Quick restore question - please answer!

My ipod has completely wiped itself of everything, but is still showing on the pc that it has used most of the space allowed - so it wont put all my songs back on. If i resore my ipod, does it just wipe everything off the ipod..I just wanna check that it doesnt wipe anything off itunes on my pc as i've never restored b4.

Restoring doesn't do anything to your computer or iTunes. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists uncheck the box beside the sync automatically instruction and press Done, it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes

You need Apple's mini-DVI to video adaptor. I can't link to the apple store page, but search for "mini DVI video", and you'll find it. You can either run an S-video cable, or an RCA (the yellow part) out to your TV.
For audio, you can run a cable from your 3.5mm mini audio jack to the red and white stereo RCA inputs on your TV. Here's one at random; Monster Cable probably has a good version.

Ive done a lot of research comparing how any type of laptop will compare when I record and play my games, because i mostly want to get into gaming youtube channel. Although i might want to do just gaming ive also wanted to do videos of unboxing and music covers. My friend that knows a lot about computers told me that i should get a mac if i want to do mainly editing, or if i want to just game and record i should buy a pc laptop. He recommended that i should buy a laptop from IBUYPOWER that has better specs than that of the mac book pro retina 15" and is cheaper. That moves onto my next question asking why are macs so overpriced? I did all my research on that too, and it most likely seems it is almost a brand name expense like louis vuotton. Next question is, how is the cheapest way I can get the 15" retina mac book pro for the cheapest price possible, should i wait until black friday for sales to lower, or should i wait until the next year to get the next 2015 model. Is the newer progressing years of MacBook pros that much better that i should wait until the next year to get it. Next question, say i wanted to play a game that is only on windows platform, ex. Skyrim. Should i play a cracked version that has been reformatted to the mac, or should i just download windows on my mac so that i can play it with more ease of use that way, instead of having to use everything in the mac side when it was originally formatted for Windows. Mac is not overpriced...
You pay for seamless Software/Hardware integration. Superior build and workmanship. And of course the OS X experience.
As far as laptops go I believe apple has the best offerings on the market by a longshot.
I am however not a big fan of buying a Mac and using it with windows... It kind of defeats the point, unless you are a developer, or need it occasionally for certain activities only Windows can perfrom.
You stated you want to however start a youtube gaming channel, I think its better to buy a desktop for this type of activity. Obviously you will game for hours on end if you want to create some sort of feedback/opinion or reviews for different games.
Also you will have to run windows to review the latest and best platforms/games. Many current games are not available on OSX platform. So your review channel would not be very good if you can only review OSX selected games.
That said there could also be a niche on youtube for reviewing exclusively OSX games. I mean you could review different games from the apple app store etc.
It really depends on what you want to do...
There are many good windows based machines too to do this sort of thing... In your case it may be the better option.
There are certainly Windows based laptops that do a much better job in the gaming compartment than a Macbook pro. In fact to play top end games you will need a top of the line 15 inch MBP with Discreet Graphics (Anything else only has Integrated graphics, games still playable, but there are limitations). You can get a much more affordable/powerfull laptop that is Windows based... Or more practically a more affordable and powerful Desktop...
I must however add.
Coming from Windows environment... My first Macbook Pro and OSX experience put all previous windows machines to shame...
I am a very pleased consumer, and personally I am sticking with my macbook pro
Also if a game is not available for MAC. You can't get a "cracked reformated version".... It does not work that way.... It involves serious programming.

That is incorrect. According to Forbes, Apple is the #1 most valuable brand, while Louis Vuitton is #10.

Machines may get more powerful every year, but they never get cheaper. You may be able to save more money the longer you wait. If you can't afford a 15" retina, consider a refurbished unit (buy directly from Apple only - see babowa's link), a 13" model, or an Air.

They get better every year. If you wait forever, then the machine you never buy will be infinitely powerful.

There is no such think as a "cracked version that has been reformatted to the Mac". If you want to run Windows software, buy a PC and run Windows. Most people do. You may be able to play that game on a Mac using Bootcamp, but it isn't guaranteed.

Those are the options - more space is more space.
Moving the iPhoto Library is simple:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
