Easy Setups and settings not visible
I've created a few different easy setups and other settings for various situations as I've been working but for some reason none of the settings I've saved are accessible after I close the program. I've tried clicking the "show all" checkbox on the Easy Setups box but the only thing that happens then is that I'm unable to expand the list of Easy Setups or hit cancel (meaning all I can do is either uncheck the box or hit OK).
I have no clue why this is doing this and would appreciate any help. I'm using Final Cut 5.1.4 on a Dual-core Mac Pro...

And for your another question , In the table TVCPF you can see the sales document type ED which would have maintained in the VTAF copy controls from the Sales document to Billing documents

4:3/16:9 combo. What easy setup & export settings would you use?
Trying to export a sequence combing 4:3 and 16:9 clips, expecting to get a dvd that plays 16:9 at full screen and pillarboxed 4:3. Instead I get full screen 4:3 and letterboxed 16:9 on my flat screen tv. Shot the 4:3 on my pre-16:9 Sony VX1000, and the 16:9 on my Sony Z5U. Working on FCE 4.0 and authoring on iDVD.
Have tried different easy setups and compression types, but always check the 16:9 choice when it comes up in FCE or iDVD. What am I missing here?
ThanksFor the future change your preset to the correct DV Anamorphic preset.
For this sequence I'm not sure. Try this. Set the correct DV Anamorphic preset and make a new sequence. Copy and paste the contents of the incorrect sequence and paste into the correct one. Select all the clips and use the Remove Attributes function. This should reset the anamorphic material into the correct aspect ratio. I'm not sure what it's going to do to the 4:3 media. Try it. -

Purchased songs and movies not visible on 2nd computer in Store. To confirm I went to re-purchase and received message telling me it was already purchased. Heeeelllppp! <smile>The purchased content will only be on the computer you actually downloaded it to unless you somehow move it to the other computer. You could burn content to a CD or DVD, use an external hard drive, a thumb drive, a network connection or, if you have one, an iPod.

they are seeing the application in planning. they created a scenario dimension containing , budget, actual and forecast.. but in the planing application they can only see budget. the rest 2 are not visible.

Easy Setup and Audio Video Settings (FCP7)

I am a newbie editor in fcp 7. in fact, I´m newbie on pos production. I´ve been working and editing less than a year (Premiere Pro)
Now I am using FCP7 (and FCPX) but my question is...in fcp7, why do I need Audio/Video Settings and Easy Setup if
final cut has open format sequences?
thxWell, strictly speaking on FCP 7 and earlier (since this particular forum is for older FCP...not FCX)...yes, you do. You need to choose the Easy Setup that matches the footage you are using. If you have multiple formats, try to convert the footage to a single format. Don't belive this Apple marketting about "open format sequences."
There are some exceptions...like you can have ProRes footage, and a ProRes sequence...and also edit in HDV or XDCAM footage in that. IN fact, it's best to edit HDV and XDCAM as ProRes. Don't have an XDCAM sequence setting and edit ProRes into that...XDCAM is inferior to ProRes.
Also...don't edit may formats natively. Meaning H.264, MP4, AVCHD...there are many formats that FCP just doesn't work with properly. FCX will even ask to "optimize" the media...meaning convert to ProRes. FCP 7 is a different beast than Adobe Premiere Pro. PPro will allow you to edit formats natively...it's designed to do that. FCP 7 is not....and that's a pretty important difference to know. FCP 7 wants media to be in FCP editing codecs before you start...such as ProRes. -
Added a scanner with Secure Easy Setup and my wireless network has disappeared?
I just replaced my fax/scanner. I have a secured wireless home network. I installed the fax/scanner with Secure Easy Setup. The fax works - but my home network as disappeared!!! Where did it go? Do I have to start over and reinstall my whole wireless network? It took me forever to get it working the first time! HELP!!!
when u run easilink again it will give you the chance to change some settings wirelessly, it could be that you have changed some settings and missed that part...
you could check that by accessing the set up page of the router 192.168.1.1 -
Iphone 4 stuck in iTunes setup and will not proceed to next step.
I recently connected my new iphone 4 to my computer in an effort to sync it to itunes for the first time. It went through the setup steps and then got to one step asking if I would like to the 'Find my iPhone' service. The options are Not Now, Learn More, and Set up Find my iPhone. None of these links work when click and the screen will not go past this step. All i can do is eject the iphone. I have tried restarting itunes and my computer but everytime it detects my iphone it starts at the same Find my iPhone page and will not proceed. I have no clue what to do from here a was wondering what I can do? Thanks.

Lightbox Gallery previous and next not visible
I'm still looking for a solution to the other Lightbox Gallery question I posted earlier, but in the meantime I've copied files from the application support folder mentioned before and have the gallery working up to a point.
It works perfectly well locally in Dreamweaver Live View but having uploaded the files to the server the gallery functions without displaying the Previous, Next or Close tabs. They're active but not visible which makes me think there is a failure to load the icons

ThanksLooks like you need to fix the links to those images in your javascript.
You have a mix of "images" and "Images" for the directory names in the links. It looks like your actual folder is capital "i" Images. Your local files will work fine, because your OS sees no difference between "images" and "Images" however your server treats them as two different directories so you're getting 404 File Not Found errors because it is looking for a directory that doesn't exist
File names should be all lower case with no special characters ($%&* etc). You should also use hyphens and underscores instead of spaces to avoid issues like this. -

...the icons of the nodes are displayed correctly, but the dashed lines to visualize the level of a node and the + and - icons for collapsed or not collapsed nodes are not visible. I am using Windows LAF. What's wrong ?Please provide following information also:

3) Snapshot of the Structure window, property inspector window?

Previous bean modification next and modification not visible

I have a succession of jsf pages. On the first I set values of my managed bean then I click next. On the second I set other values. If I return on the first page and change the values I reinitialize the values of the second page but if I click on the next button the changes are not visible.

Please search the forums for pop-ups, follow the link I already gave you, and fix your JavaScript. I'm convinced you are simply not executing things in the right order, or are resetting values after the response has already been committed.

Page1 just has a next button on it. I click it to get to a second page.

Sound and settings not working ("Task Host Window" when closing)
Okay I am not sure where to focus exactly and I am not good at articulating these problems because I don't know much about computers, so I will just try and make a simple list of problems that occured at the exact same time, and therefor must be related:
I had just installed an update which took quite a while.
Every time I close down my computer it says "Task Host Window" has to be shut down. It says underneath (translated from Danish): "Assignment host is stopping background tasks
Sound doesn't work. Not normally or with different speakers or anything like that. The sound icon shows a red circle with an X
Automatic start up programmes such as Dropbox and Sticky Notes don't start up unless I do no manually
Most parts of settings just show blank when I try to access them eg. control panel and parts of PC settings
Saving words documents (I suspect because OneDrive has to be accessed first) is really slow, but once they are saved ctrl+S works like a charm
I have tried:
I heard turning off onedrive would help, but when I go to PC setting -> OneDrive it doesn't respond
I tried a HotFix for Task Host Window but nothing happened
Trouble Shooting the sound by clicking the sound icon (which has a red circle with an X) tells me 'one or more sound services isn't running' and when I click 'see more ways' it goes to a blank site within control panel
I suspect there's some simple way to start the sound manually and it's simply being blocked, and honestly if I could just get it to start manually when I needed it, I could live with all these other problems. The sound is the most important!!

Update: I found this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2694485?start=0&tstart=0 with alot of helpful tips. This seems to be an error within itunes that still has gone unfixed. What has worked for me is to close itunes and unplug iphone from computer. Then turn off the internet connection to the computer and restart itunes and plug in iphone. itunes will then detect the iphone and allow you to continue setuping up the new device without going to the 'find my iphone' page. Good luck.

Nano 3rd will not unlock and is not visible in iTunes when connected to computer.
My 3rd Gen Nano is stuck in locked position with the screen lit. Additionally it does not show up on the computer or in iTunes when connected. I can't restart or repair myself. I suspect the locked switch may be broken. Any ideas?
First of all, try another port on your computer. Some ports are not connected direct to the motherboard and do not recognize the iPod as well as those that are.

XD01 fields Name 3 and Name4 not visible
Hi,
I have a requirement, in xd01, when i go to Address tab, by default sap shows only Name1 and Name2 fields, but Name3 and Name4 are visible only after clicking on the "More Fields" button, which will expand and Name3 and Name4 fields will then be shown.
My requirement is to keep these fields open all time.
Kindly let me know the solution.

Some flash content (like flash player settings) not visible

I am running the newest versions of Flash Player in both FireFox 3.6 and IE8 on Windows XP Pro.
I can see most Flash things (like this page: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ which in both browsers says "You have version 10,0,45,2 installed"). Several things do not appear. For instance, none of the Settings Panel windows show up. Also, some Facebook apps do not work (i.e. Pet Society) while others by the same vendor (i.e. Crazy Planets) work fine.
Both browsers behave the same. I cannot see the settings windows in either one.
I have run the uninstaller, and re-installed Flash several times.
I'll be grateful for whatever help can be provided.
JI actually tried an older version of 10, but yes, I went back to the current version.
The only Java is Java 6 update 18, I ran the Java update and it confirms that I'm current. Adobe DLM and GetPlus are already gone.

Could we concentrate on getting it running in IE? I never use IE and am willing to do any necessary experiements on it. It's more difficult to type up all my Firefox extensions and plugins (no easy copy & paste), and I would rather leave my otherwise fully functional Firefox installation alone. If not, maybe there's a plugin that dumps info about all the plugins into a text file.
