EAX Console (is there anywhere i can download this fro
i just got a SB Audigy 2ZS card, as a gift but it didn't have the disk with it. I went and d/led all the drivers and applications and all.
But i really need the EAX Console to check to see if all my speakers work or what not, set it up for headset or 5. when i play games and all. I REALLY NEED IT, is there anywhere i can get this from?
any help is very much appreciated

i did not mention though that i recently bought iLife 9 to create a DVD.
Due to my source material / postings i found on discussion groups
it became clear that i should use iMovie 6
(provided for free up until early '09 ...
initially meant to respond to enquiries of iLife 8 users that missed
compression settings that were not provided for any versions released after iLife 6).
hence my comment on the pricing, not on the quality .... -

I threw the program away. I need to have it on my computer. Is there anywhere I can find the download for mail for mac. I have looked for the install disks to no avail.. Can anyone help me?
There is nowhere that you can download it from. You need your Mac OS X install disk. If you can't find it, you'll need to replace it. Then you can install Mail from that disk.

There was never a version of iTunes 10 that would run under Mac OS X 10.4. iTunes 9.2.1 was the last version 10.4 would run. You can probably run Mac OS X 10.5 on your Mac, though. 10.5 doesn't require an Intel processor, and would allow you to run iTunes 10. System requirements here:

Apple no longer sells 10.5 officially, so you'll need to look to private sellers. Make sure you get a retail (black label) copy, not the system disk from another model of Mac (grey label).

Is there anywhere I can download or buy new backgrounds for a photobook
I am trying to making a photobook for christmas but there are no themes or backgrounds that go with it. Is there anywhere i can get such themes. any ideas?? thanks
No, there are no 3rd party addons available. However, on most themes there's a background menu button in the lower toolbar where you can choose a different color or add your own photo. That leaves the door open to create your own page background with any texture and color you'd like. Or even an wallpaper type of background, i.e. a reoccurring pattern throughout.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -

I really love to watch the Special Events and WWDC, but everytime I want to watch it my Internet is too slow. So I want to download them to watch offline on my Mac, but it is too long to convert it from YouTube. Any suggestions and where to download them?
Yes, they're on the iTunes Store and are free of charge. Login to the iTunes Store and search for WWDC, they are listed as 'podcasts' but include the video.

I guess you can see how new i am to this, I typed my whole question in the subject. Any way, i bought this macbook pro used, no disks, need to do a complete wipe and reinstall. is there anywhere i can download the install disks to burn to dvd? Or buy either one, or maybe even a later version? Im running 10.6.8 currently. Thanks in Advance! Terry
First determine what system you really have.
Apple menu -> About This Mac.
If it is 10.7, you don't need installer discs, because there is a recovery partition:

If indeed it is 10.6.something then you'll want to call AppleCare for the discs.

If they determine the machine is older than 10.6's initial release (August 28, 2009), you'll want to purchase 10.6 retail, and/or 10.7 retail from the Apple Store.
