EAX module: DLLML.exe -Application Error in Windows XP shut down proce

Question

This issue has been covered extensi'vely in this forum and I?m currently waiting to Creative Labs technical to give me ?some instructions on this issue but in the meantime I found this article about this issue which said this:

I honestly remove some of the comments about Creative Labs technical team due to fears that I would get banned from this forum before I even posted one thread ? laughed out loud.
If anybody from Creative Labs or any other knowledgeable persons are reading this particular post can you confirm whether these steps mentioned above a), b) or c) are the right things to do in the case of this issue?

IIRC the problem was there were two of the same files and it was trying to read both causing an error.
Renaming worked in solving the problem. Forgive but it's been awhile since I fixed it. From what I remember renaming fixed the problem though.
