Ebay page problems

Anybody else having problems setting up a selling page on Ebay? When I try to sell an item I either end up with a "lost server" or in some sort of loop that just gets me no-where. Is this a result of the last security update? It was working just fine a month ago.

Others have had similar complaints. I encourage you to take the matter up with Customer Support at E-bay. "
I beleive he's right as have the same problem with Firefox
Firefox is supported as JP said, & as they say below, this from today's visit,
they have responed to others letters with other suggestions.
Ebay was also good enough to downgrade the Safari browser 1.3.2 on
Panther which runs on 10.3.9 for many user in the AD forums.

Ebay UK problems

There have been many reports that UK users of Ebay cannot see certain pages on Ebay after recent Updates by Ebay. I have a problem. When I open 'My Ebay' on my iMac (Snow Leopard with Safari V 5.1.10) the Summery Page will just not load properly, it is blank, apart from a rotating wiggly wheel thing that just goes on rotating.
However, if I access My Ebay on my iPad 2 the Ebay pages work perfectly, the Summery page opens just as it should, showing all the areas correctly i.e. selling, watching etc. I am running the latest version of iOS on the iPad.
Could this be down to the fact that the latest Ebay updates are only supported by lateest versions of Safari for Lion, Maverick etc. and my 'Old' iMac version of Safari (5.1.10) just won't work with the latest updates by Ebay?
Any thoughts?

Thanks for that, having been using ebay quite regularly for a number of years I have never had any problems, until last week. It seems the problems I am having have appeared since Ebay carried out an update recently to the format,structure and layout of the pages. I also logged on to my account using my wife's PC and I have exactly the same problems there with My Ebay, she is still running XP. It seems to me that as we have older version of Safari on my iMac and Xp on the PC these are no longer supported by the recent updates Ebay have made and I cannot upgrade to version 6 or 7. I think Ebay (and Apple too in certain cases) think that everyone is in a position to upgrade to the latest iMacs etc. and operating systems and that money is no object! I guess Ebay and Apple just don't care about us ordinary folk with very little disposable income. I guess I'm stuck with what I've got!

Safari for iPad renders ebay page in ever decreasing size-microscopic

When I open my personal Ebay page (my ebay up on the menu) in Safari on my iPad (I), the rendering goes crazy. The page keeps getting bigger and bigger and the letters on the page get smaller and smaller to such an extent that I can't read, much less, tap on any choice in the page.
Any other webpage is opened in Safari normally: the NY Times, Apple, and such. But it is just Ebay that is giving me such trouble.
I know some websites give you a choice so you can get a better view by showing a mobile page, but I don't see such a choice on Ebay, at least while I can see anything with any clarity. I have the Ebay app but don't use it because it has a number of limitations. So I stick to Safari and the normal website, but it is very frustrating.

Downloading ebay page

I am having a problem opening ebay page using my Safari. I know I contacted the site and it partially loads the page but then stops. Same experience with appleinsider.com . It all started after switching to new internet provider but they brought their computer and had no problem. Help would be apreciated.

My eBay pages don't work properly. There are parts missing. The symbols on the My eBay page have gone. The £ paid sign, checkout, feedback, and probably more. I can't list an item as the submit button has disappeared. It all works fine on IE.

"My Ebay" page is not displaying correctly.

When I sign into "my Ebay" page with Mozilla the sign in process all looks the same but once in my account it displays just a plain white background and all my links aren't displayed correctly, I think it might be because I did a disk cleanup/registry sortout with cc cleaner. Please help?

How can I access eBay pages marked "blocked due to legal restrictions of some countries"/ All other browsers do not block.

Using Vista Ultimate 64x and Firefox (any version) I keep hitting eBay page blocks that read "Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries..." These same pages can be accessed with IE or Chrome so it is not really a legal restriction.
How can I get Firefox to allow these eBay pages to display? I include the url of one blocked page.

Beware of items as they relate to Cuba... Some Cuban items can be sold in the US, while others cannot be sold in the US....based on US government regulations.

Upgraded to Firefox 3.6.3 and my ebay pages are centered and do not display full width of screen as they did in the previous version. Most other pages will automatically adjust to the full width of the screen

Other pc's on the same network will load it fine its just on the one pc it will load Ebay.co.uk and i can go to my watching lists and purchase history but will not load My Ebay when i click on the tab nothing happens ijust get a spinning wheel and a white
page.

Did your issue resolve?
Like britishdhez said, if it works fine in Safe mode. It most probably caused by some add-ons.
Please use Add-on Manager to disable all add-ons permanently and then turn on add-ons only as you need them. To disable an add-on.

Firefox will not open ebay pages

For some reason firefox will no longer open the ebay page. When i type www.ebay.com.au a blank page opens, but when I use my shortcut on my desktop that will work, but when I select and item to view it opens a blank page. The item description is in the address bar but page is blank. It was working about 1 week ago and nothing has changed with my pc. I can log on to other pc's and it works fine, ideas??? Gavin

I have 8-10 UiWebView's to load different charts and maps on an iPad, i am using UIScrollView to scroll through each page, problem is while loading of each UiWebView my UiScrollView does not scroll smoothly to other pages horizontally, my query is can i load UiWebView on background and how to make sure the scoll of pages is smooth, even though the loading of UiWebViews may take time.
Note :i have tried disabled scrolling on webview, so when i scroll on the page the scroll event will be of UiScrollView, so believe no conflict with UiWebView.
also in ios 6 i read about suppressesIncrementalRendering = True but i want to support ios5, also as UiWebViews are said to be running on main thread by default, i suspect when loading of webViews and when user tries to scroll the page, the main thread is busy, but i want the scroll of the page to be smooth even though the loading of UiWebViews may take time.

My solution for cannot turn page problem in ADE

It seems this problem has been there for a while. I have this problem in ADE 2.0 and 3.0. I solve this problem on my computer today.
This problem is not a "turnning page" problem but an UI refresh problem, if you turn page, close ADE and reopen it, you will find the page actually turnned, I guess this problem occurs on a computer which have two display card. On my laptop, a NVIDIA, and an integrated. ADE works fine on NVIDIA and not on the integrated one.
So Here is my solution: Tell ADE not running on the integrated display card but on NVIDIA. You can do so by using NVIDIA's control panel program. "manage 3D settings" -> "program setting" tab, add ADE, and tell it running on NVIDIA.

System: Windows 7; graphics (onboard Motherboard) Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 Properties.
I have the same problem:
ADE does not turn page *unless* I resize the ADE window after turning the page. After resizing the ADE window, the page will turn.
I don't have multiple displays. I don't know how to adjust my display setting to facilitate ADE. Still looking for a solution... If you find a solution or a better product, let us know.
