EBS 11i OAM Management Report

Hi,
I am browsing the OAM form modules.
My boss wants a management report out of OAM. I tried checking each forms but I can not find any report
I can submit to our boss, something that he can appreciate or understand. Maybe I just dont know how
to use it yet.
Have you submitted any reports out of OAM? Can you suggest what reports to produce please.
Thanks a lot
Ms K

  • EBS 11i - Concurrent Manager goes down due to network failure.

    Hi,
    We have a Single Node Oracle EBS 11i (11.5.10) [upgraded from 11.0.3] Production Instance on a Windows 2003 (32-Bit) server.
    We have UPS support for the Server but the Netwok Switch is not on UPS. Due to this whenever there is a power trip the network goes down and due to this the Concurrent Manager (only)goes down. All other Apps Tier and DB Tier services are up inlcluding the 806 Listener (APPS_SID).
    Is this how it is designed to work? Is there anyway to ensure that the Conc. Manager does not go down due to network failure.

  • EBS 11i custom report format in Excel

    We have developed Oracle EBS 11i custom reports in PDF / Text output format for a Customer. Now, the customer wants all of them to be converted into excel format since they want to do some data manipulation on the output. Are there any tools / utilities to quickly take care of this conversion?
    The output has to look like an authentic excel file with proper pagination / headers etc. Any help is appreciated.

  • EBS 11i ... ias.properties

    Can someone tell me where the "ias.properties" file is in EBS 11i? I cannot find it within any of the 11i structure. Is there an equivalent file?
    Thanks .. S

    I'm help work with a sever configuration tool called Cohesion. This tool can discover loaded software based on predefined blueprints (blueprint= desired structure that will be used to manage/identify important changes over time). In an EBS 11i situation the tool cannot discover what's loaded (Forms, Report, HTTP, etc.). In trying to understand how the tool derives what is loaded, one of the files used for discovering the 10g Apps, is the ias.properties file. I was trying to help the Cohesion admin guy by attemtping see if there's another set of file(s) that could possibly be used. I'm kind of flying blind on the Cohesion tool as to how/what/where it attempt to discover. It's use of the ias.properties is an educated guess. A listing of potential files in 11i EBS that I can pass to the Cohesion admin so that he could build the approriate blueprint would help. Make sense!?
    Thanks in advance. Steve

  • Help!! Need to display current EBS 11i user password policy

    I need to find way to display Oracle EBS 11i (Oracle Financial)'s current password policy for each EBS user account. Is there any way to do it? Can we run some SQLs to pull it off or need to run any report to do this.
    Thanks advance

  • OAM 11g reports with BI publisher 11g

    Hi Guys,
    I am facing issue while configuring the reports in BI Publisher for 11g while generating report i am getting error
    oracle.xdo.XDOException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: Could not get data source connection for: Audit
    i will list down the steps
    1. Created a audit database using RCU
    2.Created a jdbd data source in weblogic
    3. Attach this data source to Audit store in Enterprise manager.
    4.deploy the reports in BI publisher
    5. created a jdbc data source to point to audit database.
    6.Attach this datasource to data modal and then to report. Now when i run the report i am getting this error
    oracle.xdo.XDOException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: Could not get data source connection for: Audit
    guys provide me with some pointers.

    Hi,
    Here is a set of instructions on how to run the OAM 11g reports in BI 11g:
    http://oraclemiddlewareblog.com/2012/07/31/how-to-run-oam-11g-audit-reports-in-bi-publisher-11g/
    Basically, even if you have created the datasource to the XX_IAU schema, you still need to make sure that you enable the audit on the OAM side and that you configure the right filters for the audited operations.

  • Error after an ebs 11i installation

    Hi,
    Could anybody tell me why I receive this error ("DAC-405: SessionInfo: Application module creation failed; className: AbmSessionAM") when I what to opne a forms in Oracle APPS EBS 11i ?
    What I have to do ?
    Thanks,
    P.

    Hi Paul,
    How could I start/check if ABM is started? If using JDK 1.1.8.x on the ABM middle tier:
    $ ps -ef | grep -i osagent
    $ ps -ef | grep -i jre Verify there is one osagent process and two jre processes (one for ABM and one for Gatekeeper).
    If using JDK 1.3 on the ABM middle tier:
    $ ps -ef | grep -i osagent
    $ ps -ef | grep -i jre
    $ ps -ef | grep -i java Verify there is one osagent process, one jre process (for Gatekeeper), and one java process (for ABM).
    You also can sometimes search for the ABM process by looking for the Osagent Port number:
    $ ps -ef | grep -i 14000 Where 14000 is the Osagent Port.
    What I want to run is ABM Manager -> Activity Based
    Management. However other forms are working well.
    This error appears after a single tier installation.What do you mean by "other forms"? Do you mean other modules? If so, then this is normal.
    Could you please verify ABM Installation by checking the following note:

  • How to use SSO to integrate EBS 11i

    Dear all,
    Please give me some advice or some guide documents about how to integrate EBS 11i. My boss wants me to investigate it and let me give a solution about this.
    Please do help me!!!!
    Thanks.
    Kenny

    You will need to setup standalone Oracle Identity Management 10g (10.1.4.0.1) with sso and then integrate it with 11i/r12.
    Check this note for detail information.

  • Scheduled Jobs in EBS 11i

    Hi,
    How do I list all the "scheduled jobs" in our EBS 11i ?
    I want to audit those made by the functionals to check if they made it right.
    Right now, I logged as SYSADMIN > System Administrator > Reguests > View
    I can see pending scheduled reguest like:
    OAM Applications Dashboard Collection
    Requestor > Sysadmin
    Run > Every 10 min
    Interval > From the completion of the prior run
    Schedule > Periodic
    Workflow Background Process
    Requestor > Sysadmin
    Run > Every 5 min
    Interval > From the start of the prior run
    Schedule > PeriodicMy question is:
    1. Did the functional people scheduled these jobs?
    2. Are the time intervals appropriate?
    3. Compare the 1st and 2nd invervals
    3.1 The first will fire new one after the previous is completed, so there can only 1 process at a time.
    3.2 The 2nd will fire new process (after 5 min) even if the previous processes are still running. So there can be infinite processes? Is this correct? or should I change it?4. How can I view all the scheduled jobs using the sysadmin responsibility?
    Please assist....
    Thanks a lot

  • Monitoring Password Resets to EBS 11i IDs

    Has anyone been forced, for SOX compliance, to monitor EBS 11i user ID password resets? If YES, how are you monitoring those resets?
    I don't think any standard 11i report exists.
    Is anyone using the Audit functionality within Audit Tables to monitor password resets? Or perhaps using the table / column audit functionality within the 9i database itself?

    You can query the applsys.fnd_user table, it has a number of password related columns. (password_date, password_access_left, etc.)

  • EBS 11i  ORA-1653

    Hi Friends,
    EBS 11i
    Oracle DB 9.2.0.6
    RHEL 4.6
    I just encountered error in our database ora-1653 in the tablespace APPS_TS_QUEUES, and it has two datafiles namely:
    SQL> select file_name, AUTOEXTENSIBLE from dba_data_files where tablespace_name='APPS_TS_QUEUES';
    FILE_NAME                                          AUT
    /u02/oracle/oaproddata/a_queue02.dbf               YES
    /u02/oracle/oaproddata/a_queue01.dbf               YESBased on the metalink notes, I did the command:
    alter database datafile '/u02/oracle/oaproddata/a_queue01.dbf ' autoextend on;
    alter database datafile '/u02/oracle/oaproddata/a_queue02.dbf ' autoextend on;
    But it did not solve the issue :(
    Do you think I need to bounce back the database of let the users exit from their login Forms data entry?
    I tried doing this :
    alter tablespace APPS_TS_QUEUES add datafile '/u02/oracle/oaproddata/a_queue03.dbf' size 500M ;
    and the problem was solved.
    I just can not understand why "autoextend" did not work :(
    Please clear my doubts ...
    Thanks a lot,
    Ms K

    Hussein,
    Do you think that even if I made the all tablespace1 "autoextend on" I will still get Ora-1653?
    I have another mistake too :( I cleared up all logs after I fixed the ora error becase the are lots and lots of logs in the database background dump files accumulated for the past years. I decided to clear to so that I can fresh see new logs.
    I also reset the altertPROD.log huhuhuh. And now the support wants what exact time did the error occured. And I can not give it. This is the logs in the bdump database side.
    Can I get logs for the error at the APPS tier side? where can I get the applications log when it hit Ora-1653 while the user was processing the Order Management module?
    Thansk a lot
