EBS Error

Hello Everyone,
My client is using MT940 FORMAT for EBS. Suppose there are 10 transactions which have the same amount for eg:Rs.1000 for ten payment transactions, the system is unable to post the document when we import the bank statement.

Apologize for being late here ... What is the error you are getting while posting ? When you say Algorithm 21, the contents in Note to Payee field is compared as and to 'Reference Document' only and not as 'Document Number'. Algorithm 20 is to be used if you want to clear with the Document Number. Nevertheless, just let me know the error message and we can proceed further on this.

Helli Experts,
We are implementing SAP Electronic bank statement functionality. One of the requirements of the business is that of automatic clearing of customer open items after import of MT940.
We are using standard interpretation algorithm 001, but made use of an enhancement to clear the open items based on age of the open items rather than any reference given in Note to Payee details. That means if a customer has 4 overdue open items and paid the amount referring to the 3rd open item, system should rather clear the 1st open item which is overdue for more number of days than the 3rd open item. This has been made possible by activating the check box "Distribute by age" in FEBCL table through the standard enhancement option given by SAP.
As an extension of this requirement, if the customer pays off in lumpsum (in single payment) for the combination of first three open items, then the system should clear off those three open items leaving the fourth one as the open item. For instance first open item has the amount of $ 1000, 2nd one has $2000, 3rd one has $3000 and 4th one has $4000. Now if the customer pays $6000, system should clear the 1st, 2nd and 3rd open items automatically after loading the bank statement containing this payment of $6000. So, only the 4th one will be in open item status.
But when I load the bank statement, system is giving me an error message F5 263 (the difference is too large for clearing) in posting area 2. Posting area 1 is fine and document is successfully posted. Issue is there only in posting area 2. I believe system should be able to find the first three open items for the amount of $6000 based on the indicator of "Distribute by age". But this is not happening. If I try to reprocess the statement through FEBAN after I got this error message, then system is able to find the first three open items and then able to clear off. But wondering why it is not happening in transaction FF.5 automatically.
So, could you kindly let me know if I am missing something or is it a limiation in SAP that this scenario is not possible to achieve through EBS.

EBS - Error F5 263

Hi,
I am doing bank reconciliation with FF_5, MT940 format.
All other items are posted (cleared) except 1. This one is cash withdrawal from bank.
I get following error message:
u201CError: (F5 263) the difference is too large for clearingu201D
I have checked amount, date, everything is correct.
How can i solve this error?

Hello Pritam, In case of withdrawal from Bank to Cash Journal and in case of Rent payment to Vendor:
1. Please check if the open item against which FF_5 is trying to clear, has the same reference number that is there in the bank statement. Typically this mismatch is the reason for this message (difference too large to clear) . Check what reference number is being used to match a line in the EBS with the open items for clearing.
You can consider using the Search String definition if required for the problem document types.
2. While clearing the problem documents manually, the message you obtained regarding tolerance limits tells you that you have configured an upper limit for document posting amount and your posting goes beyond that limit. This setting can be seen under Financial Accounting Global Settings - document - tolerance groups.

SAP EBS error - Same Bank Account number for 2 different Account ids

Hi,
My client maintained the same Bank Account number for 2 different Account Id's within the same housebank.
He has maintained Account id HELCO ( Local cheques) and HEICO ( International Cheques) and assigned same Account Number for both in the same house bank.
I am getting error " "same bank account exists in several company codes -> see long text, Message FB757" while uploading EBS file ( BAI2 format) due to this..
How do I resolve the issue.
Why is SAP allowing to maintain same bank account nos for different account id's?

I too faced this kind of situation when i am dealing with multi cash format file
As far as i know when you are dealing with EBS, system will check account key and account number that is present in the bank file
Please check the entries in T012K table with bank key and bank account number
You should not have more than one entry with the combination and i am surprised that even though you have different bank key for the same account number you got this message..
I request you to check the T012K table entries and make sure that no duplicate entries exists with the bank key and bank account number combination

I am blocked with a similar issue. I checked the GL account settings and they are all OK. I did a simulation where I can see the correct accounts linked to posting rule LU02. But still I am gettting this error.

EBS error while posting

Hello Everyone,
When I am trying to load a EBS file in SAP, I am getting an error saying "No posting. No entry with key BAI 738". I had created this external transaction and assigned to a posting rule. I am not sure why I am getting the above error. Can anyone guide me on this?

Looks like you are almost there. Apart from creating posting keys and defining posting rules two more steps need to be done.
Assign your BAI code to "External transaction types". Normally you would assign your bank accounts to transaction types. Under transaction types you will define all the BAI codes, debit or credit indicator, interpretation algorithm and processing type.
Once you assign here, you should be able to upload bank statements.

While running the Custom Concurrent Program "XX GL STAT Trial Balance Report" , it leads to the following error in the log file:
Error Message:

There is no such error captured in the OPP log files in the CM node.

Form error when I press button

I have a main form which has two buttons. one button should display if parameter.UB= YES and other button should display if parameter.UB=NO depending upon the two responsibilities. I was able to display the button.
when I go for UB=YES related responsibility and click the button , It is going into another form.
But for UB=NO related reponsibility, I am getting below error -
"Function not available to this responsibility.change responsibility or contact system administrator". Please guide me this regard.
Note: Both the buttons invoking the same form.

Your error message sounds like you are working on a Custom Form for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). If this is so, you should post your question in the EBS forum. If the responsibility assigned to the user does not have permissions to the Function you are calling, you will get this error. Check with your SysAdmin to ensure each of the Responsibilities that can use the form have permission to execute the Function you are calling. If any of the responsibilities are not allowed to call the Function, you should call the appropriate EBS function to check this before you attempt to execute the function so you can display a "nicer" error message to the user rather than the default "EBS Error Message". Sorry I can't help you with the "EBS Function" to check if the Responsibility has permissions - it's been a while since I've worked with EBS and I don't remember the function name. Someone in the EBS Forum should be able to tell you though.

SOLVED: Bursting - Delivery Channel:null

Hi all,
Am getting an error in bursting as follows (in EBS):
Error!! Could not deliver the output for Delivery channel:null. Please check the Log for error details.
The PDF file is being generated and can be located and opened in the standard output directory but it is not getting emailed as it should.
This issue may be instance related as the same code is working on another instance.
Can anyone point me at where I should be looking to resolve this issue?

I am using R12 applications.
I get this error 'Error!! Could not deliver the output for Delivery channel:null' in the output file of the bursting concurrent program.
The smtp server name the ids the mail id and all other things are fine in the bursting file since i have hard coded them.
I have also telnet <smtp server name> 25 frm command prompt and it worked fine.
I don't know why i am facing this issue.

Error while invoking the WSDL service of EBS from BPEL process

Hi Team,
when we are calling webservice client to call WSDL service which is published in Oracle EBS integrated SOA Gateway from BPEL process.
After invoking, we are getting the below error

1. Login to Application as sysadmin.
2. Navigate to Intergrated SOA Gateway > Integration Repository.
3. Click on search on right hand side of the page.
4. In the Internal Name type "FND_USER_PKG" and click Go.
5. Click on the User link.
6. Under the "Web Service - SOA Provider", click in the "View WSDL". Copy the complete URL "http://test:8003/webservices/SOAProvider/plsql/fnd_user_pkg/?wsdl"
7. Open the soapUI.
8. Click File > new soapUI Project.
9. Test the web service.

Note: Above Merge Label Request (MLR) is build for EBS 12.1.3 having OC4J 10.1.3.5.
2. Enable the profile option "EBS Adapter for BPEL, Function Security Enabled".
a. Login as SYSADMIN user and Navigate to System >Profile and Search for "EBS Adapter for BPEL, Function Security Enabled" (Internal name :EBS_ADAPTER_FUNCTION_SEC_ENABLED)
b. Set the Value to 'Y' at SITE level . This means function security feature is enabled and all API calls for PL/SQL APIs, Oracle e-Commerce Gateway, and concurrent programs will be checked for user security before they are invoked.
3. Retest the issue by Generating and Deploying the required package.
4. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.

WS Security error while invoking EBS R12 Conc job

I have 2 soa services, where <orchest_Service> calls <conc_job_Loader> service. <conc_job_Loader> service is used to schedule a EBS R12 concurrent program. the <orchest_Service> calls the <conc_job_Loader> service and passes all required parameters. Responsibility     responsibility_key (such as "SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR")
RespApplication     Application Short Name (such as "FND")

Org_Id     Org Id (such as "202")
please assist resolve the error...

Thanks for the quick reply.
We've tried to call that web service from an HTML designed in Visual Studios with the same username and password and its working fine.
But on the BPEL console, we are getting the error as mentioned.
Also if you can tell me how to set the user name and password in the header of the parter link.I could not find how to do it.

Error while provisioning a user to EBS UM

Hi All,
I am trying to provisioning a user to EBS UM from OIM 11g R2 and it is remaining in provisioning state. When i checked the resource history in the Create User task it is saying the following
Invalid Person ID entered.
In the logs i found the below error....

It is clearly saying failed to check user in DB
Description : ORA-00942: table or view does not exist in the method "oracle.iam.connectors.ebs.usermgmt.integration.EBSUserManagementHelper : isEmployeeExist".
Check your connector installation again.
