EBS Financials Newbie: How to undertsand GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS table

Hello
Can someone help me understand how to understand the GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS table.
I have this table with
code_combination_id, coa_id, account_type, segment1, segment2, segment3..
I have distinct values of O, A, L in account_type.
Do they mean
O -> Other
A -> Assets
L -> Liabilities.
Where do I find the descriptions in the EBS tables?
How do I know what segment1 mean (column metadata itself)? Where do I find the descriptions, meanings for each segment column in the EBS tables?
I have values like 2200, 7800, 8000 in segment columns as values. Are these called valueset_ids? How do I find the meaning, desc for these values?

Go to GL Administrator > setup > flexfield > key > segments >
Query application = General Ledger; Flexfields = Accounting Flexfield
And then go to segments.
This is where you will find meaning of each segment.
How do I find the meaning, desc for these values? For each segment you will also find a value set.
Find the list of valid values for each value set by following this path
GL Administrator > setup > flexfields > validations > values > select Key Flexfield and then query application = General Ledger; Flexfields = Accounting Flexfield
