There are references to database version 10.2.0 in tech_st - these should be replaced with 11.1.0 as the R12.1.1 media installs 11.1.0 version of the database.

I have 2 soa services, where <orchest_Service> calls <conc_job_Loader> service. <conc_job_Loader> service is used to schedule a EBS R12 concurrent program. the <orchest_Service> calls the <conc_job_Loader> service and passes all required parameters. I also see that a concurrent request id is generated. below is the log details:-

We've tried to call that web service from an HTML designed in Visual Studios with the same username and password and its working fine.
But on the BPEL console, we are getting the error as mentioned.
Also if you can tell me how to set the user name and password in the header of the parter link.I could not find how to do it.

Error while running fs_clone in EBS R12.2.3

We have recently Cloned EBS R12.2.3(AD and TXK Delta 4). After few hotpatches on the system, we tried fs_clone and getting the below error. Our architecture is single node DB and Single node application. The below is the known error for multiple application tier but ours is single node. Kindly help.

Thank you for your kind update.
I am trying to create a custom top as per the notes mentioned in the note mentioned by you above using adsplice but I am facing issues with tablespace and indexspace registered with the custom top into the application. My issue is related to the issue posted in the following blog:

Hence my work is stuck and cannot proceed.

Install missing plugins error while opening forms in EBS R12

Hi,
I installed EBS R12 in my desktop through vm ware. my host os is windows xp and my guest os is oel 5.3. Now when i am trying to open any form based window through OAM in firefox browser, install missing plug ins error occurs.
How can i open forms? Pls can any one help me. Thanks in advance.

Somewhere i heard that we have to create a sybolic link with the java plugin. Where can i find that java plugin in our system and to where i have to crete the link.from where you heard that, it is required ?

Linking error in OElinux 5.4.1 while installing EBS R12.1.1

i am installing EBS R12.1.1 in Oracle enterprise linux 5.4.1
i have done all pre steps and created stage area . while insatlling the EBS it shows ERROR

Please make sure you have xorg-x11-libs* installed.

Also, for "libXtst*" please make sure you run the steps under "Link to Motif library for Oracle Application Server 10.1.2 (on Oracle Linux 5, RHEL 5, Oracle Linux 6 and RHEL 6 only)" in the same doc.

i am trying to install oracle EBS R12.1.1 on windows server 2003, i am following your document, installation of EBS R12.1 in windows server 2003 SP2
i did stage everything going right, even i did md5sums for the extracted file of EBS R12 folder.
i stated installation, even installation done perfectly at the end of installation 2 Command Prompt windows appear and stopped, i try to open log file from oracle installation folder, i got this message at the end of log file

Encounter error when installing EBS R12.0.4.6 on OEL5.2

Hi,
I met a problem when I installed EBS R12.0.4.6 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.2.
The installation was interrupted in the step 2 of 5. It showed RW-50004 error. Then when I clicked retry button, the installation continued until the post-instll checks. Only the Enviroment File and DBC File passed the check.
Following is the error logged in the log file:

I have seen posting about the installation of EBS R12/i11 saying it does not work with Windows Vista (64 bit). I went ahead and tried it anyway to see what kind of errors I get and to confirm if the errors I get are consistent with other people using Windows Vista. FYI, my installation went as far as 99% complete of step 2 of 5 before it errored out. I checked and noticed that many components of EBS have been installed with status equal zero which is good.
When I got the "TNS-12541: TNS: no listener", I went to Windows services, located the Oracle TNS service that was created by the EBS installation and tried to start it. Then I got this error: "error 1053 the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion". I googled the error message and the resolution is: "To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1.". I have tried this but it does not work because my Windows Vista uses a higher version of .Net Framework 1.1. I have done more research but to no avail. However, it is fun as I learn many things about the EBS intallation and Windows Vista.
By the way, these are the steps when I run the rapidwiz on Windows Vista. Click on Start => Click on command prompt => right click on command Prompt => select run as administrator => CD to the path where the rapidwiz reside. Somehow if I use the regular command prompt the installation will die on step 1 of 5 even when I log in as administrator.
In your case you are using Windows 2k3. Make sure your OS is not 64 bit. Whenever you get an error and it does not say much, google it to see the resolution and make sure you read the Installation Guide. Hope this helps.

EBS R12.1.1 Installation error

I am installing EBS R12.1.1 64bit on OEL 5.3 but I got error in DB creatiom phase :(

I've seen this error when installing the 11g RDBMS software on RHEL/OEL 5.x, when I forgot to turn off the SELinux option. SELinux is often enabled in a default install; it's easy to miss the option to turn it off.

EBS R12 open PDF with error by "View Output" button

In EBS R12,
We did setup some report output as PDF.
After run concurrent job of report, click "View Output"
It prompt a new IE window and prompt error "Internet Explorer cannot display page".
Problem Client PC information:
1. Win XP SP3
IE 8
Adobe Reader 9 or 8 (Enable Option "Open PDF in Browser")
2. Win 7
IE 9
Adobe Reader 9 (Enable Option "Open PDF in Browser")
Any related setting can help for this?

Of course, you may said possible solution maybe Install Acrobat Reader 10 or 11 for those user.
But it need furthur testing for our internal programs.
And I've checked, according Oracle's Document, R12 should support Acrobat Reader 5 or up.
Which lead me think, there should be missed some setting.
But I cannot find any related setting on this point.

"Page cannot be displayed" error in EBS R12

Hi All,
We implemented EBS R12 with 2 Application Node, 2 CM nodes and 2 DB Nodes(RAC). We have also setup load balancer at the application level. We have enabled HTTPS at the load balancer level. Our application works perfectly fine except some of the PIM module related screens and especially Workflow Manager, it gives us "Page Cannot be displayed" error sometime. What we have observed is, Our URL is https://ebs.abcltd.com but when we click on Workflow manager link under Oracle Application Manager, the URL gets redireced to http://ebs.abcltd.com:443/. We would like it know why this redirection is happening? as we have not mentioned this (http://ebs.abcltd.com:443) url in our context file.

Can you find any errors in Apache/Workflow/Database log files when this error occur?
Did you verify the session persistence on the load balancer? -- See the documents referenced in this F5 Load Balancer with Oracle 11i.

My Apps log-in page shows:

Opmn error in EBS R12

hi,
I have newly installed EBS R12 on Oracle Enterprise Linux (on my windows 7 machine i have installed VM Ware Server 2) and then installed this
i have also run the /home/junaid/PROD/db/tech_st/11.1.0/appsutil/scripts/PROD_linux/ . ./adautocfg.sh
and also run /home/junaid/PROD/db/tech_st/11.1.0/appsutil/. ./PROD_linux.env
after start the listener and then database
i have also run this /home/junaid/PROD/apps/apps_st/appl/. ./APPSPROD_linux.env
after when i start the application services i have facing this problem

This is my 8th try to install EBS R12 and got same error.
OS - Win 2003 Server Standard R2.
used CYGWIN, MS Visual C++ 2010 and Strawberry Perl.
Used Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Installation Steps on Windows XP followed all steps......finally same error......
