EBS R12.2.4 Oracle Customer Online, profile UDA error "JBO-26010" UomExtAttr1

In EBS R12.2.4, OCO define a UDA for profile, not display in profile page, show error page, has below error "JBO-26010: Invalid Entity Attribute Name "UomExtAttr1" ", any help is appreciate.

Environment details are below:
EBS R12.1.1
Oracle database version is 10g R2 (10.2.0.4) .
OS is Solaris 10
We are looking for an option of implementing Oracle advanced security option (ASO) .But want to know if its certified with EBS R12.1.1 / 10g R2 database.
I checked few links but I'm not clear if its certified.

Oracle Customer Online - no bill to/ship to

While viewing site uses in OCO (Oracle Customer Online) for a particular customer i'm able to view data for party sites.
Which tables are used in this ?(only hz_party_sites?)
also in party sites table there is data for two sites (bill to/ship to) but no corresponding data is there in hz_cust_acct_sites_all and hz_cust_site_uses_all for this party.
How to propagate these party sites in tables hz_cust_acct_sites_all,hz_cust_site_uses_all ?

What you are referring to is a Party Site Use and they are independent from Account Site Uses. When you create an Account Site Use, Party Site Use gets created often times depending upon the UI used. But the reverse is not true. You can add as many Party Site uses as you like, and this will not have any bearing on Account Site Uses. Same is true when it comes to maintaining Site Uses at Party Level and Account level. They can be maintained independently.
The story is different when it comes to Sites. If you inactivate a Party Site, all Account Sites that are tied to it gets inactivated. If inactivate an Account Site, the underlying Party Site gets inactivated, which in turn triggers the inactivation of all Account Sites that are tied to the Party Site.

OBIEE/EBS R12 - works, except for one user - ORA-06512 error

We are successfully using EBS integration with OBIEE, but for one user that we have created it doesn't work. When they try to access OBIEE from EBS we get this error in NQServer.log:

It is only for one user that has the problem. All others users work fine.
Has anyone else seen this problem?
Our EBS DBA has checked that the above sql can be run with the session set to the problem user, and compared with a user who can successfully connect to OBIEE. The results were the same for both.

I was on the wrong lines with this one.
The error in the NQServer.log was not from the problem user, it was a separate user.
The real cause of a specific user not being able to login was a corrupt web catalog (which we're still trying to resolve)

We noticed that, the above accounts are found application profiles.
what is the purpose of the account?
Can we change the password of this account?
Can these account be disabled?

These profiles were introduced for Oracle Advanced Planning Command Center and are listed in "Oracle Advanced Planning Command Center Release Notes. Release 12.1" [ID 566094.1]
Are you saying you have an eBiz account "SOP" in FND_USERS, as by default there should not be an account setup ?

Oracle EBS R12 DR - Status Column Shows N in FND_NODES

Hi,
We implemented DR for Oracle EBS R12 (2-Node Oracle 10gRAC, 2-Node Apps) using Oracle Data Guard.
During the Failover testing we noticed that the Status shows N for the DB Nodes and First Apps Node. It shows Y only for the 2nd Apps Node in the FND_NODES (Autoconfig was last run on the 2nd Apps Node):
SQL> select node_name,status from fnd_nodes;
NODE_NAME STATUS

But in the Primary Node the Status is Y for all the nodes.

EBS R12 XML Gateway Integration - Supplier information sync with MAXIMO

Hello Guys.
Recently I'm working on a EBS R12 implementation project, as customer already has MAXIMO application, they would like keep it ask "supplier" information syncronization between Oracle EBS R12 and MAXIMO through Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3
For EBS R12 supplier creation/update screens done, currently I found I can get supplier information out by configuring Oracle APPS adapter within Oracle ESB(Enterprise Service Bus) scenario to catch business events but may not perfect this way.
Then we would like try XML Gateway but seems there're no "supplier" related XML Gateway fit in Oracle Apdater module browser :-(
Appreciate if any one can guide/help........

How to deploy the goldengate on EBS R12

EBS : R12.1.1
ORACLE DATABASE : 11.1.0.7
OS version : AIX 6.1
The source environment and the standby enviroment are the same.
I want to know how to deploy the goldengate on EBS R12 , not for reporting , only just for Disaster recovery .
I have read 1112325.1 (Deploying Oracle GoldenGate to Achieve Operational Reporting for Oracle E-Business Suite) , and I think that was not enough .
It was difficult for me , cause there're lots of objects in EBS , and what should be notice , for example , the triggers , the sequences , and so on .
Had anybody done this before or deployed this sort of thing , please give me some advice and help .

I have found ora-3136 alert log error in ebs r12 instance Can any one help on this error. Alert log continuously write this error. Below is the error i found.

Integration of Oracle Apex with EBS R12.1.1

Dear All,
We are in process of integrating Oracle Apex 4.0.2 with EBS R12.1.1 with the help of http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/apex-ebs-wp-cabot-consulting-169064.pdf.
After doing all the steps, the moment when we navigate from EBS application to Apex application by clicking on the EBS menu link it ends up with below error
"404 Not Found
Resource /OA_HTML/null/pls/apex/f not found on this server"
After some analysis i found the below code in "LaunchApex.jsp" for getting the profile value (supposed to be 'http://myserver:port') from custom system profile "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" and prefixing to "/apex/f?p=applicationid:page::APPS:::" is not happening properly

l_launcher = l_launcher + "/apex/f?p=" + p_application + ":" + p_page;
l_launcher = l_launcher + "::APPS:::" + p_item_names + ":" + p_item_values;
as we found that the custom system profile "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" not exist in EBS system. But it works without any page error if we hard code the entire apex application URL in l_launcher variable, but this takes us to EBS login page instead of Apex application page.
So i feel we can't bypass using profile value from "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" as it has some relation with EBS application session.
So could anyone please help me how we could create custom system profile "APEX_HTTP_SERVER" or any other options to make the seamless integration of Oracle apex with EBS works without any second login page

Create a profile under Application Developer Responsibility as follow:
Name OAE_LAUNCHER
Application <whatever>
User Profile Name Oracle Application Express Launcher
Description Oracle Application Express Launcher
2. Set above profile value under System Administrator Responsibility -> Profile -> System, and search for the ‘OAE_LAUNCHER’.
Set the value at Site Level as:
http://<hostname>:<Apex port>/pls/apex
Then instead of hardcoding the URL in the jsp, just give the profile name OAE_LAUNCHER that you have just created in the jsp.

I have seen posting about the installation of EBS R12/i11 saying it does not work with Windows Vista (64 bit). I went ahead and tried it anyway to see what kind of errors I get and to confirm if the errors I get are consistent with other people using Windows Vista. FYI, my installation went as far as 99% complete of step 2 of 5 before it errored out. I checked and noticed that many components of EBS have been installed with status equal zero which is good.
When I got the "TNS-12541: TNS: no listener", I went to Windows services, located the Oracle TNS service that was created by the EBS installation and tried to start it. Then I got this error: "error 1053 the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion". I googled the error message and the resolution is: "To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1.". I have tried this but it does not work because my Windows Vista uses a higher version of .Net Framework 1.1. I have done more research but to no avail. However, it is fun as I learn many things about the EBS intallation and Windows Vista.
By the way, these are the steps when I run the rapidwiz on Windows Vista. Click on Start => Click on command prompt => right click on command Prompt => select run as administrator => CD to the path where the rapidwiz reside. Somehow if I use the regular command prompt the installation will die on step 1 of 5 even when I log in as administrator.
In your case you are using Windows 2k3. Make sure your OS is not 64 bit. Whenever you get an error and it does not say much, google it to see the resolution and make sure you read the Installation Guide. Hope this helps.
