Ebuynow Complaint - Not Shipping, No Response to I...
I placed an order for a Freetalk Conference HD Camera for Sharp TV's on December 30th with order # US-FTK-0351151
My credit card has been charged, yet no response from Ebuynow in regards to an update status on my order. I have but in 3 contact us email requests with no response. I am feeling like this company is a complete scam, and I am very upset that both Sharp and Skype referred my order to this company. I am hoping that going through Skype I will get some sort of response.
If no response is warranted I will be contacting the paypal scam department as well as my credit card!
Thank you

You likely won't get any response and if you do you won't be able to trust it. I suggest contacting Paypal. They will respond. I filed a complaint and they just emailed that they were able to recover my money. Said to give it five days to be posted. They did also stated that if the seller had insufficient funds in their account that they would take appropriate action against them. I've asked for clarification on that. My guess is Ebuynow agreed to the refund but might have no intention of following through. Ebuynow told me on the 4th they refunded my money but it never appeared in my account. It also appears that Ebuynow and Freetalk are one in the same and their web site has been broken for ordering or logging in to view your order since Jan 1.
Although it's been stated here for weeks by Skype reps that this was not a scam, there has been no evidence that it has been anything but a scam.

Re: Ebuy Complaint - Not Shipping, October 2012 Or...
Same problems here with ticket FYHLQY. Adapter was purchased on Oct 20, 2012. Credit card was charged immediately. First response from eBuynow was on Nov. 2 stating that they did not have the adapter in stock. After a long process of exchanging information via their ticket system we agreed that the adapter would be delivered for January 4. Of course it was not delivered... I requested an update on January 11 but still no news five days later. Their so-called 24-hour service is a joke. One "feature" of their ticket system is that if you ask for an update before they answer you'll get sent back to the end of the queue!
I'll wait for a couple more days and will then ask for a refund if they can't confirm shipment. If I do not get an answer, I'll file a complaint with my credit card company and will try to get my money back. I can think of a couple of things that are probably illegal in the way they do business and I find it very strange that Skype would associate with what appears to be a very bad business partner.Hi, redbike, and welcome to the Community,
Thank you for your letter, which has been referred to eBuyNow for research.

Elaine

Toshiba will not ship recovery disk to a APO
I am here stationed in IRAQ. I bought a Toshiba laptop from the base exchange(in Iraq) I need to get a recovery disk from Toshiba and tried to order one. Well to my shock Toshiba does not ship to APOs. Afer speaking with a VERY rude customer sevice person who informed she was the higher person I could complaim to, I just had to ask if she was the CEO of Toshiba. They must be someone somewhere who can tell me why they will sell me a laptop in Iraq but will not support it. All I keeped hearing was "we don't ship to APOs" but not why. does anyone know of a Toshiba e-mail address where I can get some help. I am ready to run this hunk of junk over with my tank. Never again with I buy Toshiba.
To the best of my knowledge NONE of the manufacturer's ship to APO/FPO addresses. The normal reason given for this is that they aren't guaranteed that they will be able to get a reciept signature. Your best bet is to have it shipped to someone in the US and have them mail it to you.
Of course if you had followed the instructions in your User's Guide you would have made your own and not have needed to order them. Have you tried the hard drive based recovery utility to fix the system? Since you haven't provided any details as to what the problem with your laptop is, or what model you have it's difficult for any of us to give you any specific advise that could potentially help you with this.
While I don't condone this type of behaviour or company policy about the APO/FPO addresses, no one has the right to expect Toshiba to provide something that none of the other manufacturer's provide. I find this situation deplorable and think that ALL of the manufacturer's that sell through base exchanges should be forced to provide FULL support for their products or not be allowed to sell through them. That is something that the Military and the US Government would have to impose so in effect your real complaint is with the entire exchange program, not the individual manufactorer's.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time. -
Report to identify sales orders not shipped on time
Hi
i have one requirement to identify the sales orders that are not shipped on time(Sales Order due).
Could you please anyone throws some hints to build a report.
Thanks in Advance
ArjunYou will have to join oe_order_lines_all and mtl_material_transactions.
The oe_order_lines_all.scheduled_ship_date will give you when the order was supposed to ship.
The "sales order issue" transaction in the mtl_material_transaction will give you the date on which the sales order issue transaction occurred.
Alternatively, you can use the dates in wsh_delivery_details and wsh_new_deliveries tables and compare them with scheduled_ship_date.
Hope this helps

My new iMac is not shipping with Lion installed. Will I be able to do a Migration from my PC to my new iMac? I only want to transfer photos and my music, currently on my PC (and on my iPod Touch & iPad).
Can anyone give me a list of steps to follow or let me know if Migration Assistant is available prior to Lion for PC to Mac?
Thank you so so so much!
-SweetDeeSweetDee,
I'd be VERY surprised if your machine was not shipping with Lion installed. However even if it doesn't when you initally install Lion it will launch into Setup Assistant, if you follow the prompts it will ask if you are migrating from another machine. You can use Pondini's Lion Setup Assistant tips for help, look for the section(s) on MS Windows migration. Also I would strongly recommend bookmarking and studying the following sites:

In closing remember you have 90 days of free telephone support with AppleCare. If you run into trouble they will be happy to assist or if you have an Apple Store in your area you can book an appointment with a Genius and they can usually help you out. -

Hi there,
Firstly, try a hard reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears.
If this doesn't work, try restoring your device. Put it in recovery mode if iTunes doesn't recognise it, and restore it from there. I have linked to instructions below.

hello, normally such issues are caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions. please remove all program rules for firefox from your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.

Can we disable the 'Do not send a response' option for invitations?
Our organization recently migrated to Outlook \Exchange 2010 from Lotus Notes\Domino R7.0.4. Users are getting frustrated with the many limitations, or hopefully our lack of understanding, related to calendaring in Outlook.
Current Issue:
Employees can select "Do Not Send a Response" to meeting invitations, but still accept the invitations for their personal calendars. This can be very frustrating to the invitee, who is attempting to orchestrate complex meetings, since they do not
get updates for invitees who have accepted the meeting using this option.
It is plausible that all invitees could accept a meeting, but choose not to send a response. The originator of the meeting may than cancel the meeting, thinking, "what's the point, no one accepted it". The originator or an Admin staff should have
the ability to disable the "Do not Send a Response" option or at least have the option to require a response if desired.
Additionally, when invitees do send a response, it would be nice to have an option not to see response in the form of an email, but simply as an update to the Calendar 'Attendees' status, to avoid inbox clutter.
Lotus Notes had these functions at least 10 years ago, so I'm sure we are just overlooking a setting or configuration. Any guidance Microsoft support or readers can provide would be greatly appreciated.Hi,
We can disable that option via GPO.
Please refer to Disable user interface items and shortcut keys in Office 2010:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179143(v=office.14).aspx
After adding the Office 2010 GPO templates to the domain, in Group Policy Management go to:
User Configuration / Polices / Administrative Templates / Microsoft Outlook 2010 / Disable Items in User Interface / Custom
Add the following Policy ID's: 19987, 19995 and 19991.
This will disable the three menu items "Do Not Send a Response" below the buttons Accept, Tentative and Decline. When the mouse pointer points to the disabled ("grayed out") menu item a message is shown telling the user that this menu is disabled by the
administrator.
If you are not used to the email response, simply create a rule to move all these responses to a single folder and clean them up periodically:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-in/outlook-help/manage-email-messages-by-using-rules-HA010355682.aspx

CCMSPING not collecting "Dialog Response Time"
In Solution Manager 4.0, we have configured the CCMSPING agent to monitor a number of systems. For only two of those systems, CCMSPING is not collecting "Dialog Response Time" (Availability_DiaRespTime) and "Standardized Response Time" (Availability_StdRespTime) data. All other MTE's for those two servers are being successfully collected. Looking at CPH, for at least one of those systems, the data was collected for a couple of weeks and then stopped. For the other system, that data has never been collected. The two systems with problems are the only two ECC 6.0 systems in the landscape. In the RZ20 monitor, all that it says is that the "Value is obsolete". I have deactivated and reactivate CCMSPING one of the systems without any change.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Is there any way that I can find out what errors are occurring?I have already a ccmsping agent registered on my central system but it seams to be not correctly registered.
I registered correctly the agent with the '-push' option and it seams to work properly now.
Thanks for your response

Emmanuel Coindre.

To make tax calculation is driven by sold to and not ship to
Hi All,
Can any one suggest how to do the below for service related orders/invoices:
The services are provided from a UK company to another UK company and UK VAT should be applied. In these two invoices the ship to is in Spain and the sold to is in UK and that is where the tax should be calculated not on the ship to. So there should be a local UK tax rate applied.Hi,
Please follow these 2 things and rest system will take care:
1) In sprosd-basic functions- taxesmaintain sales tax identification number.
Against your sales org, just maitain A.
2) Maintain VAT id code in sold to party and not ship to party.

RegardsHi, I found a post from another person regarding the TFTP recovery on an 1131AG. I would try that and also make sure you have the CISCO-LWAPP-CONTROLLER static DNS entry set to the management (login) ip address of your WLC...
"Posted by: jaichauh - Network Engineer, CISCO SYSTEMS - Oct 1, 2008, 1:06pm PST
Yes,
You need to downlaod an IOS autonomous image and then upgrade it by using the following steps:
Step 1 The static IP address of the PC on which your TFTP server software runs should be between 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.30, as AP gets an IP of 10.0.0.1 after reset by default.
Step 2 Make sure that the PC contains the access point image file (such as c1130-k9w7-tar.124-3g.JA1.tar for an 1130 series access point) in the TFTP server folder (Root folder) and that the TFTP server is activated.
Step 3 Rename the access point image file in the TFTP server folder to c1130-k9w7-tar.default.
Step 5 Connect the PC to the access point using a Category 5 (CAT5) Ethernet cable.
Step 6 Disconnect power from the access point.
Step 7 Press and hold MODE while you reconnect power to the access point.
Step 8 Hold the MODE button until the status LED turns red (approximately 20 to 30 seconds) and then release.
Step 9 Wait until the access point reboots, as indicated by all LEDs turning green followed by the Status LED blinking green.
Step 10 After the access point reboots, reconfigure it using the GUI or the CLI.

Not receiving a response connection error
I am having difficulty connecting via ichat with my brother. We are running the same versions and did not seem to be having any problems until a couple days ago. To the best of my knowledge neither one of us have had any updates in a while. Below are the details for the error, but it doesn't mean a lot to me. Does anyone have any suggestions for correcting the problem?

The Log does show that the Buddy changes the SIP port it is trying to use further down the Log.
There is also no mention of a Ping.
iChat sends a Ping and your routing device has to allow these.
Presumably you have System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming set to 1.5mbps at both ends and you have tried changing the Login port to 443
If it was working then it come down to what might have changed.
Check System Preferences > Sharing that Internet Sharing has not bee turned On (It should be Off)

Hi All,
When I am trying to click on the 'iprocurement Home page' menu in the iprocurement responsibility getting the below error message in R12;
"iProcurement is not a valid responsibility for the current user. Please contact your System Administrator."
Can any one let me know how to resolve this?
Regards
JosephHi Joseph,
I am assuming that the user actually has the iProcurement responsibility assigned to them. If so, try the following solution from note 1560400.1:
1) Logon with System Administrator responsibility
2) Navigate to Profile > System, click on User and enter the user name
3) Search for profile 'Applications Start Page'. Delete the value set at user level and save
4) Retry
