ECC 5.0 installation Error... before installing the Oracle

Hi,
I am installing ECC 5.0. with java version 1.4.2_15. I successfully installed Central Instance. while installing Database Instance in the 16 phase I try to load oracle with ora<SID>. I am getting the error like......

Error while installing the Oracle BI 10.1.3.3.1

Hi ,
I got the following error while installing 10.1.3.3.1 Oracle BI Suite .
[nQSError: 46036] Internal Assertion: Condition GetAdaptersinfo( pAdapterinfo.get(), &ulOutBufLen) == NO_ERROR, file .\Config\SUSystemConfig.cpp, line 1297.
while the installation shows it is completed successfully ..
but admin tool is not started ....
even the BI server also is down and says - process terminated unexpectedly ..
Please help me out in this regards ....

When I am installing the SAP SAP J2EE add-on for SAP NW XI installation I am getting the follwing error:
CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed. DIAGNOSIS: Error message: Executable /oracle/XID/920_64/bin/sqlplus returns 127.. SOLUTION: See ora_sql_results.log and the Oracle documentation for details
Could some one help me to resolve this error and install the SAP J2EE add-on?

That is precisely the WRONG thing to do. You should never delete, but uninstall.
Now you need to look for, download and run the Adobe CS Cleaner tool.

Error while installing the EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS)

Dear All,
I am trying to install the EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) 7.1 .It got installed once but when i was trying to deploy the application i was getting an error sayind that we need to have JDK1.5 Update 14 or higher for the installation.
Now i have JDK 1.5.0_14 installed in my system.So i Uninstalled the EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) and i am trying to reinstall it but i am getting the following error

Dear Nishita,
I hope you have removed the older version of jdk before installing the new version of jdk. Also after un installation of NWDS, did you delete all the temp files and also the directories created during the original installation of NWDS. Also did you restart your system after the uninstallation of NWDS EHP1 and older jdk before reinstallation of the two softwares?

P.S. The first thing you can try is restarting the PC and try resuming the installation, if it doesnt succeed, please remove all traces of NWDS and JDK, restart pc and then resinstall both of them.

Software update says I need to do the lastest update which I have tried to do at least 6 times. It downloads the software, the computer restarts, it starts to finish the download and then says ' there was an error in installing the software" What is up?

Software update says I need to download MacOS 10.6.7. Each time I try, I have tried 6 times, the software downloads, it has me restart the system, it then writes the files to disk and then I get an error measage that "there was error in installing the softare. Anybody have this problem and how do you fix it? I am running 10.6.6

Try this before trying to install the update.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
If you still have a problem then I suggest you download the 10.6.7 Combo Updater and install it.

Error when installing the ERP6.0 SR3 in windows MSCS

Hello Gurus，
When i tried to install ERP 6.0 SR3 in windows MSCS+ oracle, I met a issue.
1. oracle + OFS is installed.
2. ASCS is installed.
3. first MSCS node is configured
4. then i try to install the DB instance, according to the installation guide, there is a statement saying:
Make sure that in the database host field, the local database host is displayed.
but during my installation, the DB host field is blank, so i manually enter the local host name, click on next, choose the export directory and done.
then in the checking oracle existing step, an error occurred:
oracle software is not installed, please install oracle before ...
Could you help me how to solve the issue?

After restart the OS, this issue seems to be vanished, but we met another error.
In the installation where sap creating DB instance, there's a option to let us to choose the oracle db version, since i installed the oracle 10.2.0.4, i chose 102 as the version, but an error message pop up indicating that the version is wrong. And then i re-select version 112, it can continue...
i looked back at our installation and noted that when we installed OFS 3.4.15, the installer indicated that 11g. i suspect it could be SAPinst read the version from the wrong place, instead of 102, it recognize 112.
Did you guys have any similar experience of it?
Could you give me some help?

When I am installing 'SAP NetWeaver Suite'the below error came, can someone help me out on this below error?
MOS-01011 'C:\usr\sap\BWI\SYS\exe\run/sapstartsrv.exe' returned with '-1'.
The J2EE server is up unrunning @ the installing the Netweaver ABAP Instance I got this error.
For the user BWI it has the Administrator previlages i checked so many time but I am unable to get it.
Please help me out the error.

The error suggests that the oracle gwdb database was incorrectly created with the wrong username and password for the database. The installation expects the gwdb database to be created with the username of "gwdbuser" and password of "gwdbpass". I would check the login credentials for this database. Also the installation expects the musicdb database to be created with the username of "musicdbuser" and password "musicdbpass". You may want to check this as well.

Error while doing the Oracle 9i Database Installation

PROBLEM ONE
While installing the Oracle Database 9i on Windows 2000 Server with 256 MB Ram, I got the following error
Windows - Wrong Volume
The wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume ORCL9011_1 into drive E:.
This message occured when percentage done was 100%. It was copying visualsdo.exe
PROBLEM TWO
Then I deinstalled the Oracle 9i software and deleted the oracle folder from both the Windows Explorer as well as in the RegEdit.
Again I started doing the installation...
In Oracle Database Configuration Assistant, while it was installing "Adding Oracle JVM", I got the following error
"Oracle Database Configuration Assistant: ERROR"
"ORA-06576:not a valid function or procedure name"
When I clicked Ignore I got the following error
"Oracle Database Configuration Assistant: ERROR"

You have too few RAM on your machine, even you could successfully create an instance, it's going to slow as hell.
When you run DBCA to create database, instead of actually creating the database you could choose to dump the SQL scripts and files used for database creation to a directory. This way will give you a chance to modify pfile and reduce the SGA parameter. I believe the default SGA of instance created by DBCA is already beyond your RAM limit.

Error while re-installing the Oracle 10g on Linux

Hello Experts,
I am a beginner in this area: I was in the process of installing Oracle 10g Release 2 on Linux 4. However, during the installation was incomplete because there was a disconnection in the network during the step wherein I was supposed to run the shell scripts from the root directory. When I tried to install the product once again, I got an error message that I need to "create a new oracle home". I also checked if there were any oracle products installed, but there were none. Now, how do I re-install the oracle 10g? Please help.

I tried doing that, (ref: http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/em.102/b16227/oui3_manage_oracle_homes.htm#i1006275),
but it didnot work.
So, what I did was:
I created a new oracle home:
ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_2
instead of the older one: ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1
and I was able to install the oracle software successfully.
Please let me know if there is anyway that I can clean up
ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1, in the sense, completely remove it.
Please let me know if there is a particular way to remove ORACLE_HOME and oraInventory directories.
