ECC 6.0 EhP6 SPS08 failed with RC12 in phase ACT_UPG
Dear gurus,
We are upgrading from ECC 6.0 EHP4 SP12 to ECC 6.0 EHP6 SP8 and phase ACT_UPG has failed with RC12. When we check the dump it shows the following error:
Runtime error: DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR
Shorttext: SQL error "-99999" occurred when accessing program
Database error text........: "CLI0106E Connection is closed. SQLSTATE=08003"
Triggering SQL statement...: "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB=============CP "
Internal call code.........: "[REPO/*/43/LOAD/CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB=============CP
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Diana
After pushing the message at SAP I got the following answer:
It is the problem from note 1417505. There is no guarantee that all objects where imported with the used R3trans. A rerun of phase will be unsuccessfully because error came up in DDIC_IMPORT.
A reset of the queue is only possible if SPAM/SAINT is used for importing support packages. In case of upgrade, like here, the upgrade has got to be resetted as described in upgrade guide.
After start between phase extraction and configuration the newest R3trans has got to be copied manually in /abap/exe folder.

IDES ECC 5.0 database install fails with no errors
I've successfully installed a non-IDES version of ECC 5.0 (central, database, and dialog instances) via Solution Manager 3.2 with Oracle 9.2.0.6 (+patches). I logged in and generated an install key for the IDES installation.
The IDES central instance installs fine. The database instance installation proceeds to Phase 19 of 36 - "Create Tablespaces" and fails. The log file has no errors or warnings in it. Failure occurs almost the instance that step 19 begins. Upon trying "Retry" it fails instantly again. I cannot find any errors in the SAP install log or the Oracle logs. Here is the last few entries of the SAP log:

RFPOSXEXTEND generation ends with Error: End Phase 002 Msg No. D0 322
Hi All
Offsetting Account Description in RFITEMGL (FBL3N).
To include GKONT_LTXT we appended and activated the RFPOS and RFPOSX structures and when generating RFPOSXEXTEND in SE38 I am getting following error message;
END PHASE 002***********************************************
Message No D0322
This message is some thing new to me. Also the Offset Account Name field does'nt figure out in Change layout for FBL3N Report. I am sure the above error is stopping me. I could understand that to display the values in the chage layout we need to append the structures and to populate the same, in the report we need to copy the function module in T.Code BERE and assign it in BF34.
Please do provide your valuable inputs on how to resolve the above error message.
Thanks in Advance

KIMHi Renan Correa
Thanks for the prompt reply.
Table: T012S is updated from T. Code: O7R3.
We have appended the Structures RFPOS & RFPOSX but still RFPOSXEXT is not getting populated with the appended fields.
We also tried regenerating RFPOSXEXTEND but failing with the End Phase 002 message.
As per your instructions below
(Regarding the error message D0322 please check special fields definition table T021S and check if the fields are correctly defined. Review and check if the 'field names' and 'table name' are filled and input correctly in the table. MOST of the times it's the origin of this error);
I tried to update T021S but the field GKONT_LTXT is not available and following is error message....
Field name GKNOT_LTXT is not allowed

I have even checked SAP Note: 676338 (got this # from your replies to one of the threads with FICORE405 message).
Waiting for your valuable inputs.

DISPLAY/PRINT MY EXPENSE REPORTS UNDER TERA FAILS WITH THE ERROR MESSAGE
Hi Techies,
When i click on "Display/print" button under my expense report ( Employee --> Travel & expenses --> Manage Expenses (TERA) --> My trip reports), it opens up a new window with the error message "SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP send failed with exception communication_failure(100,101)."
This behaviour is noticed in the new upgraded system NW 701 SP7 (portal) and backend ECC 6.0 EHP4; However it works perfectly fine with our non-upgraded system NW 70 SP10 (portal) and backend ECC 6.0.
When i ran the trace on this functionality, i could notice that in the non-upgraded system, after pulling all the values, it calls the RFC function module "PTRM_WEB_FORM_HTML_GET"; however the upgraded system calls "PTRM_WEB_FORM_PDF_GET".
For the "PTRM_WEB_FORM_PDF_GET", I believe we need to configure the "ADS" rfc pointing to the ADS service on a j2ee server which am not planning for.
MY QUESTION IS:-
IS THERE ANY OPTION TO CHANGE THE FORM BEING CALLED FROM "PTRM_WEB_FORM_PDF_GET" TO "PTRM_WEB_FORM_HTML_GET" WHICH I BELIEVE WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AM FACING?
Kindly assist with your thoughts!1

In Web Dynpro, the Parameter for Formula is Defaulted to PDF file. If
you don't want to use the ADOBE Form in ESS, you have to follow 2 steps:
Solution
o Check the Homepage framework configuration.
In IMG (transaction SIMGH) go in Travel Management->Employee Self
Service->Homepages Framework->Ressources
Delete the URL parameter "sap.xss.tra.UsePdf=true" of the ressource
"EMPLOYEE_TRAVEL_TRIPFORM_SRV05".
Check that the field URL for PCD file is filled with
ROLES://portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_fol
der/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.roles/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/
com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_trave
l_expenses/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.tripform
Normally if it is not filled in your client, the system should use the
one from client 000, that is the SAP delivered customizing.
o Check the Portal PCD configuration
Logon on to your SAP portal as Administrator.
In the Content Administration - Portal content, select Content
provided by SAP->end User Content->Employee Self Service->iViews->Travel
and Expenses->Display Trip Form
Right Click on Display Trip Form and Select Object->Open
In the field Application Parameters, you will find a parameter
Page 2
sap.xss.tra.UsePdf=true . Delete this line completely.
When this configuration is done, the PDF form is desactivated and the
HTML form is used.
This is the issue with ADOBE set up
Firstly, I would ask you to check the customizing steps from 944221
to ensure no issue with the ADS configuration for the pdf form.
to review OSS note 925741 as there can be a issue with the

Integration of ECC Scheduling Agreement (Doc Type LP) with SAP TM
Hello Experts,
I am trying to integrate ECC Scheduling Agreement (Doc Type LP) to create OTR in TM System. I have maintained below settings:
1. Create and Activate Control Key
2. Output determination procedure linked to LP has output type TRS0 with requirement 27 assigned.
3. Output condition record has been created
4. I have checked Business Functions are also active
I was able to transfer other Document Types like OR; RE; FD (ECC Free of Charge); SDF (ECC Subsequent Delivery - Free of Charge); Consignment Fill up and Consignment Pick up by maintaining these settings, but not able to push Scheduling Agreement LP to TM.
The output TRS0 is not appearing automatically and if I try to insert and execute this output in Scheduling agreement, Output is failing with error message: "Order is not TM-relevant"
Is there any other config or mapping or SAP Note that needs to be applied to achieve this integration? Because I believe standard integration is available for ECC Scheduling agreement (I have read in help.sap.com).
Thanks and Regards,
Vikram BhardwajHello Vikram,
You mean this documentation:http://help.sap.com/saphelp_tm81/helpdata/en/9c/787f3c0a771e57e10000000a114084/content.htm?frameset=/en/44/b0488e9c35612be10000000a155369/frameset.htm ?
I think there is talking about the integration for SCM Basis as SOS, not Order Integration.

BPM_DATA_COLLECTION fails with (Output device "" not known) error
Hi all,
I have an issue with Output BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 job in the satellite system failing with 'Output device "" not known error. Since it is collecting data for Solution Manager system why does is it trying to find an output device.
It did not fail before and now I added another key figure (custom one) which is done the same way the other custom monitors are done in "Z_BPM_ECU_COLLECTOR" report and then in /SSA/EXM program, but the collector job started to fail.
Also, for some reason there are two BPM_DATA_COLLECTION jobs, one is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 and the other is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_2. _1 runs every 5 min and _2 is less frequent. They both seem to runt the same job which is /SSA/EXS. Why are there two jobs scheduled from solution manager in my satellite system?
Thank you very much for your help!I am experiencing this same issue in our ECC 6.0 system. We currently have ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001 applied to our system. These jobs finish successfully in SM37, but I'm seeing the same error messages in our system logs (SM21).
When I try to update the output device that is associated with these jobs, the user ID running the jobs is not valid since it's user type is Communication Data.
Does anyone know if it ok to change the user for this job? Should it be run by DDIC? I believe the jobs were created automatically when we applied ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001. -

SAP Enterprise Project Connection 2.0 in SAP ECC 6.0 EHP6
Hello experts,
Before describing any think let me tell u that i am very new to this field.
We are configuring SAP Enterprise Project Connection 2.0 in our SAP ECC 6.0 EHP6 .I have already installed ABAP add on for EPC in ECC system.
I have also installed trial version of primavera6 in another system. So now how can i connect my ECC system to Primavera6 through Enterprise Project Connection(EPC). I have gone through the installation guide for SAP Enterprise Project Connection 2.0 SP2.But i could not get any clear idea.
Any reply is helpful for me..
Thanks
DebasisHello Debasis,
Post EPC installation, you need to perform configuration of EPC through portal. You can see it listed under configuration--> configuration scenarios-->EPC.
During configuration you will be asked to define path of you primavera installation and a user on that system with sufficient permissions. This user is called APS user.
Try to do a mock configuration run on sandbox/dev system and then you can follow the guide.

As per the solution mentioned in the link we have checked for the icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB parameter in Quality and production environment. It is maintained as icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB= 102400.
Also we are able to process the same file in quality but not in production though the parameters are same.

SAP_XI_IDOC/IDOCXmlToFlatConvertor fails with Enhanced Idoc
Hi All ,
We have used the PI conversion module SAP_XI_IDOC/IDOCXmlToFlatConvertor in a number of Idoc-To-FlatFile scenarios and it is working fine.
However recently we tried to use it in a scenario where the target file structure is that of an enhanced Idoc.
In this case, the receiver channel (where the module is configured) fails with the error message, Idoc metadata not available in ECC.
We have tried the following:
1) Checked NWA connection for RFC Destination and JCA connection factory : Working fine.
2) Loading Enhanced IDoc in IDX2: Working Fine.
3) Change the receiver agreement to point to a Standard IDoc instead: Working fine.
Have any of you been facing the same issue and/or could you guide us to a possible solution.
Thanks,
Abid AliHi Ali,
We are also facing exactly the same issue with a custom IDoc while converting on the receiver side.
It is actually interesting that the module "SAP_XI_IDOC/IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor" works fine for the very same idoc and fails to recongize the metadata information while converting from Xml to Flat.
Did you have any luck in getting this resolved? If so,can you please provide the details.
Thanks

Regards
PSCheck the following :
in We 02 which partner number is displayed just in the posted IDOC -> 2nd coloum in the IDOC list .and verify if the
same you have in Partner profile. Actually this details comes from ECC business system's logical system name which you give in SLD.
in we 19 - take the error iDOC numner and open the IDOC ->click on the first line -> check entries as you mentioned
above sender port should be PI port not empty.you need to check the partner profiles properly
follow these steps
1. create a RFC destination of tyoe H for Pi system- 2. create a Port and assigen the RFC destination to it
3 create logical system for PI BD54 PICLNT001 say , 4 with the same name create a partner profile in We20
in parter profile maintain the inbbound message parameters and add the PI port as receiver port in it .Give the basic type also .
now
for sender details in ur case PI : u have port (defined in PI IDX1),patner number (LS defined in ECC PICLNT001), parter type LS.
for receiver you have port defined (as above), partner number the logical system for ECC system.
in we 19 ,, edit the control record as above and go to the tab inbound processing and test the internal posting
it should work fine. in the adapte specific attribuet for receiver ECC system , maitain the same LS name , if any wrong entry is
there then change the LS in sld to poing to correct LS/

TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
Probably your listener or database is down...
If both are running, just stop the installation and reboot the server.
Then again start listener and database and continue SAP installation with "Continue old installation" option..
Also make sure that below environment variables are set properly...
ORACLE_HOME
ORACLE_SID
DBSID
