ECC E-Commerce

Hello Friends,
we have a requirement in ECC E-commerce
After  uploading the product images in ERP E-commerce,  can we add additional content ?
are there any issues?
Thanks in advance
Points would be rewarded.
Regards,
Sri

Hi Sri,
there are two steps:
the first step is to maintain the content.
For that use the document management system (DMS). Use transaction CV01N. With the DMS all kinds of content can be maintained, for E-Commerce images are most important. Additionally PDF-documents like quality data sheets, manuals, etc. are used.
The Document info record can be assigned different objects, but the easiest way is to assign it to the material master. The material master is then assigned to a catalog area or a catalog item in transaction WWM2.
In the second step the enriched contentet needs to be displayed in the web shop, usually in the product detail. For that the link for the pdfs, which is stored in the document info record, is replicated to the trex and stored as an additional attribute.
With this technique as many PDFs as wanted can be published.
Hope that helps.

    Hi Ramesh,
You need to follow the "CR850 ECC Internet Sales.pdf". you will get that in the SAP Market place.
and also to get to know the ISA framework and its architecture you also need to follow the "SAP_ISA_70_DevAndExtGuide.pdf".
    Hope this is helpful.

  • System requirements e-commerce in ECC 6.0

Can anybody give more info about system requirements for implementation of e-commerce webshop in ECC 6.0 (without CRM)?
    Many thanks in advance!

Any business reason why you are using ISA 4.0 with ECC 6.0? Is this an upgrade project and do you have lot of custom ISA enhancements? If not, why not consider the higher version of E-Commerce.
As per [SAP Note 1147879 - webshop 4.0 and mySAP ERP 2005|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1147879] you can not use ISA 4.0 with ERP 2005.. I am not sure if the same is true for ISA 4.0 with ECC 6.0.

  • Catalog views for ERP E-Commerce for MySAP ERP ECC 5.0

We are implementing the R/3 version of CRM-ISA (ERP E-Commerce for MySAP ERP ECC 5.0).
We need to implement product catalog views to allow filtering based on specific attributes.
We have created a custom function module Z_ISA_READ_CATALOG_COMPLETE to replace ISA_READ_CATALOG_COMPLETE and  Z_ISA_CUSTOMER_READ_CAT_VIEWS to replace ISA_CUSTOMER_READ_CAT_VIEWS.
But when we test from ISA the FM Z_ISA_READ_CATALOG_COMPLETE does not get invoked through RFC.
There is an  SAP NOTE 998453 that we checked but it is still a pilot version.
Has anyone implemented the catalog views without the notes? Can we do the catalog views without the note? If so, how can we meke custom FM work? Please advice.
    Thanks,
    VK

    Check the following.
    1. The XCM file modification-config.xml replaces both the function modules
    2. The checkbox to use the catalog views is checked for your webshop
    3. Catalog is published to TREX and you are using TREX catalog instead of Memory catalog.
I don't think these notes work without TREX. I'd be interested in learning if anyone successfully implemented Catalog views with ECC ECO without using TREX.

  • Data flow from E-commerce to SAP CRM 7.0 , ECC and third party system

    Hi,
I have a requirement like the customers are created in E-commerce website of the company. When a customer is created the data should be synch to CRM , ECC and thrid party system ( price data from CRM  for the customer ).
How do we transfer the data from E-commerce to CRM.?.andn ECC. Is it transferred first to CRM and then to ECC. Can  we acheive all the systems synched at a time.
Can anyone explain with some design.
    Thank you,
    Regards,

    Hi
SAP CRM E-Commerce (called as WEB CHANNEL) works as per the below options (in CRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0)
    1. SAP CRM Web channel with CRM back end where CRM will be a leading system for order creation. From E-Commerce channel, the order is saved in the back end CRM system and then replicated to ECC (through middleware settings).
In this scenario PRODUCT CATALOG will be created in CRM system. The use of TREX server will be used for product catalog replication. Also, the image server will be required for the display of product images in the PRODUCT CATALOG.
    2. SAP CRM Web channel with ECC back end where ECC will be a leading system for ORDER CREATION. This is a new offering in CRM 7.0 where from E-Commerce web shop the order is directly created in ECC system. Hence no middleware settings are required for order replication.
In this scenario also PRODUCT CATALOG will be created in CRM system. The use of TREX server will be used for product catalog replication. Also, the image server will be required for the display of product images in the PRODUCT CATALOG.
    3. For customer replication from E-Commerce > CRM > ECC, you need to maintain the middleware settings between CRM and ECC for business partner replication.
    Hope this will clarify.

  • CRM 3.1 to ECC 6.0 E-Commerce Upgrade

    Hello,
We need some information regarding an upgrade from CRM 3.1 to ECC 6.0 E-Commerce module.
In CRM 3.1, there is only webshop functionality available and since R/3 is going to be upgraded before CRM, the entire master data will be available in ECC 6.0.
Let me know if this kind of arrangement is possible?

    Hi Lalitkumar !
Look, I think that of course is possible to do the load using XI/PI but, I think that this is not the correct tool for this task, XI/PI is an integration broker, used basicly for message exchange between applications, generally transaction originated messages(i.e. a new employee created on SAP HR need to be sent to a legacy system responsible to control access to the company, a change in a material need to be updated in a legacy system of shop floor, etc) not to do data migrations.
Another question is, to use XI/PI to do that, you will probably construct interfaces that, after the migration, will not be used for anything, being discarted, this sound to me as work wastefulness, adding extra work to the migration proccess(the interfaces construction/configuration) that is not mandatory to do that.
Finally, another question to keep in mind is, if I´m not wrong(if nothing has changed about this) the cost of XI/PI license is calculated by the message traffic ammount(in MB, if i´m not wrong again), so a data migration can increase the cost, because of large volume of data, a cost that doesn´t exist if you do the migration using another tools like suggested by another SDN members.
Thank you in advance, and best regards.

    Hi Lisha,
You will not get SAP Internet sales Software Components while installing ECC, You need to deploy sca files externally.
You need to download sca files from service market place.
    link : [ download ink|https://websmp108.sap-ag.de/patches]
Goto Downloads -> SAP Software Distribution Center -> select Search for Support Packages and Patches
try to get below sca files using search key:
eg: for SAP-SHRJAV.sca file search with shrjav
    o SAP_JTECHS.sca
    o SAP_BUILDT.sca
    o SAP-JEE.sca
    o SAP-SHRJAV.sca

    o SAP-CRMAPP.sca
    o SAP-CRMDIC.sca
    o SAP-IPCMSA.sca
    o STRUTS.sca

  • E-Commerce with 2 ECC instance

    Hi All,
I would like to know if ISA for R/3 could be connected to 2 different ECC systems for B2B site. Both are on same version.
If yes, then what all I need to configure except JCO's in shopadmin, b2b and ipc.
    Thanks in anticipation,
    with regards,
    Prashil

In the shopadmin application you will maintain multiple JCo components, jco_ecc1 and jco_ecc2 just the same way you did for ECO.
When you maintain shops with shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do, use the correct custom application scenario, in the shopadmin/admin URL parameter scenario.xcm , to define the shops. You can draw parallel with the b2b application in this context. This scenario.xcm will use the right jco_ecc_X to create the shops in the right ECC_X. The shop information is maintained in the respective backends.
So, you will define the shops for both shopadmin custom application scenarios you have maintained (or going to maintain).
Another piece of information on Shops: The shop-scenario you have defined in the shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do application and the scenario of the webshop application you have defined also should match to get picked by application. (b2b, b2c, bob, collaborative showroom etc.)
The IPC JCo is a component with ECO and essentially are all controlled by the choices you make in the ECO customer application scenario you have defined and choose in the URL.
So, it is a definition of multiple sets of information for components, followed by definition of multiple application scenarios choosing different sets of components to complete an application scenario definition. Use the application scenario by giving the URL parameter scenario.xcm to the right value.
This is true for webshop, and shopadmin applications. JCO and IPC are components. Hope this makes sense.!!!

  • Does ECC 6.0 Provide a Search-as-you-type Enhancement for Sold-To Party Field?

In our quest to continually simplify the creation of sales orders, I would like to know if SAP has provided any way to simplify the search and entry of the customer sold-to or ship-to party.  What I am looking for is a way to enter the customer's name (or other customer search criteria such as city) in a single field and have it search-as-you-type.  This is also known as instant search, auto-complete and auto-suggestion.
We would like to eliminate the clicks it takes to use the standard F4 search help.
One of our internal developers has created a web-based (.NET) application that brings in SAP data for writing sales orders for a specific segment of our business.  This tool allows you to find the ship-to party by typing in the customer's state, city, zip, address or name in the Ship-To field.  The instant search feature narrow's the list down as you type.  What he has done is written SQL to concatenate the customer name, customer number and address information, and then provided a search-as-you-type feature on top of this.
Fictious Example of concatenated data (State, City, Customer Name, Address, Zip, SAP Customer Number):
WA Seattle, Home Depot, 11616 Aurora Ave N, 98133, 18394978
Typing any of the above information in the field will search for matches and bring back results as you type.
I would like to know if ECC 6.0 has any similar feature that can be used in VA01 to accomplish the same thing.
    Thank you.
    Rob Scofield

I don't have access to the code our developer used but again, I am referring to a .NET browser-based application.  We extract a subset of SAP data using Attunity (say, every hour) and the SAP data is stored in a separate SQL Server database.  This database is used by a few browser-based applications we have developed.  For example, we have an application that allows external customers or internal employees the ability to look-up the status of an order.  The first thing you enter is the customer.  In some cases, this may be the Ship-To.  In other cases, the Sold-To.  The user can simply enter some part of the customer and records are searched for a match, as you type.  In our case, the lookup is occurring in SQL Server, not directly in SAP.  The developer took a simple approach of using some SQL query magic (it may be in a SQL Server Stored Procedure), to concatenate the relevant customer information that most people use to lookup a customer - Customer Name, Address, Customer Number.  So as you type, this entire concatenated string is searched and the list of potential "hits" is narrowed as you type.
The paradigm is similar to Google's Search as you type (SayT), which you can read about here:
    http://www.theverge.com/2012/7/11/3152186/google-search-as-you-type-instant-results-merchants
    http://code.google.com/p/search-as-you-type/
    Or auto-complete: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/106230
This is nothing new in the web commerce world.
I was told by an SAP rep that there might be an enhancement in SAP ECC (SAPGUI Desktop) that could do something similar.  However, I never heard back from him and was wondering if anyone else had heard of something.
This is another example of how it seems SAP has fallen behind in their UI and search capabilities; and they need to catch-up.  For those of us that have used SAP for many years, F4 seems straight forward and we sometimes don't understand why so many users don't also find it simple.  The answer is, other vendors have made it more simple and with the consumerization of apps, SAP needs to get there.

  • Download Stack from SAP Marketplace to my ECC 6.0 (abap+java)

    Hi gurus
I have a doubt about the process of support package (stack) download. I don´t want downloading from maintenance optimizer, I´m doing this process directly from Sap Marketplace, in first step (1 of 3) I have to select the target stack (which is the stack level that I intend to make an update) and the source target (which is the actually stack level of my system)... Ok I choose them with no problem, the situation and my doubt is below that where I have a check list of "Usage Selection" (image). How can I know which one I must choose for my system... I don´t understand what is that, for instance "Strategic Enterprise Mgmt" ; E-"Recruting" or "EP Core"!!!... etc...
So how can I know which of these components I need to check to downloading for my system, how can I know that?

    Hi Sunny,
Yes ok, I understand that but... I think I didn´t explain what I want to learn/know or you didn´t understant what I want...
At download windows you see this list:
    ERP Central Component (ECC)
    XI Content
    Strategic Enterprise Mgmt
    Self Services
    Supplier Relationship Mgmt
    Extended E-Commerce Components
    Financial Supply Chain Mgmt
    cProject Suite
    E-Recruiting
    Learning Solution
    Process Integration (XI)
    Workforce Mgmt Core
    Business Intelligence
    Portal Content
    Enterprise Portal
    Easy Document Management
    EP Core
    Mobile Infrastructure
How can I know which of these types I must have choose for my system...? The output of that url doesn´t inform me which of these type I have in my system, it only inform me the master components or in other words which stacks I have in my system (ABAP and JAVA stack´s)!!!

    Hi Experts,
what kind of IDoc Errors can occur in ECC for the scenario :
ECC sending <b>PO</b> to Ariba(E-commerce hub, using third party adapter) and in receiving back <b>Order confirmation</b> from it.
    Thank you,
    <b>MK</b>

    Hi,
This depends on the design and landscape and also Disaster Recovery or High Availability Plan.
    some hints:
    1. Connection Problem: Because of timeout , unavailability of the Receiver system.
    2. Data Problem may cause you the error in IDoC posting [ probably functional/Business Team should look into this]
    3. User ID and Password Maintenance - it may hit sometimes
    4. If any pre-requisite process is required to process this IDoC, then problem in the pre-requisite process will lead the problem
these all kind of problems you may face..

  • Need some clarity on e-Commerce 5.0 for mySAP ERP

Digging through the documentation I can find, I still can't make sufficient sense as to what, exactly, is required to get e-Commerce 5.0 for mySAP ERP up and running.  If we have an ECC 6.0 backend (ABAP stack only), what needs to be put into place?  From what I've heard it's supposed to be a pretty quick and simple thing to get up and running, but the documentation I've found so far just muddies the water quite a bit!

    Hi Chris,
I have moved to test environment and started working on a clean slate.
I understand what you are trying to tell regarding maintaining the XCM scenario in variant config (SPRO).
I have complete the following steps.
    1) Activated VMC
    2) IPC is set active in Shop Management.
    3) Table TBE31 is maintained for the Event
    4) table CRMCONSUM is maintained for IPC
    5) Table CRMRFCPAR is maintained with two entries. Though RFC destination is not maintained.
RFC destinations in AP system are not maintained as we are running SAP E-Commerce 5.0 using ECC 6.0 as backend.
    6) ran the report CFG_AP_INITIALISE_DB -- every thing is green and can see the knowledge bases in the log.
    7) I have maintained the parameter "ipcjcodata" with the JCO component - and maintained the JCO connection user with authorization objects S_MI_ADMCO and S_RFC (with necessary functional groups).
Now If I login to b2b/init.do -- I can see the configuration icon next to the configurable product.
Once I click on the icon -
I can see the reset, accept, cancel options and status and product variant tabs.
But the charecteristics tabs and charecteristics are not being displayed. -- which shows blank.
the jsp's which are showing blank are
    1) /ipc/components/characteristicGroup.jsp
    2)  /ipc/tiles/characteristicGroup.jsp/ipc/tiles/characteristics.jsp
Is there any thing I am missing - Please suggest.
