ECC quotation creation through CRM 2007

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to created ECC quotation in CRM 2007. The RFC integration between ECC and CRM has been done.
Once the opportunity is created, then follow up document is created (ECC quotation).At the time of creation of ECC quotation through CRM, i am not able to fill the GROSS WEIGHT and NET WEIGHT in shipping tab of quotation. I am getting getting incompletion log for the same.
Please let me the approve for the above query.

Can you please let me know if you found a standard web service to create a quotation with refrence to a Opportunity. If so can you please share the info.
If not can you please let me know what FM or BAPI did you use to create the web service to meet the requirement.

Quotation creation through DP81 Error related to Material maintain Inquiry

Dear All,
This is related to Quotation creation through DP81.I have maintain A DIP profile and as per my Easy Cost Planning (ECP) in Project System it is capturing in sales price in DP81.Please note that I have maintain three (3) line item in the sales Inquiry.Based on that 3 line item we have maintain three different WBS element in ECP and it is attached to corresponding material no in VA12.
Now in DP81 system showing the three line item but if we go for Quotation creation one material no is coming for the three line item with different price value.
I have also maintain these three material in DIP profile in ODP1.Please note that the first material no maintained in DIP profile that is coming not the other material no.
Please through some light as in our case there are several line item is maintained in quotation.So is it possible to make Quotation with different item and where I have to maintain these material no.

i checked the characteristic for cost element & Material for CR, MD & Str, i created sets for cost element & the material & i determined the material which i required in the quotation. I am getting an error "no expenditure item found" , can you suggest me now.

I dont think you need any Middleware adaptor objects for CRM Request download .
You need to create a request in CRM using R3AR2 . Here you need to provide the R/3 table name and field name to download the service document along with Document ID
You can monitor your request download in txn R3AR4.
But as MCG rightly told , you should have done all requried customized settigns before downloading service documents .

Quotation creation through a webservice

Dear Friends,
We would like to create a Quotation through a webservice.
We are using the webservice OpportunityCRMByIDQueryResponse_In, to
get the details about an existing Opportunity in CRM. We create a
Quotation in CRM using the CustomerQuoteCreateRequestConfirmation_In
webservice. However through this webservice we are not able to link
the newly created Quotation with an existing Opportunity (whose details
were queried through the OpportunityCRMByIDQueryResponse_In
webservice). The CustomerQuoteCreateRequestConfirmation_In webservice
doesnt seem to provide this possibility. Can you let us know how to
create a quotation by linking it to an existing opportunity using a
webservice?

CRM 2007 - Real Time Quotations from ECC 6.0

Hi Gurus
We want to be able to generate Quotations in our CRM 2007 system.
The Master Data is maintained in ECC 6.0 for the products we wish to Quote on.
I think the terminology we're looking for is a real time quotation capability where by we pulled the required values from ECC 6.0 at the time of the quotation.
Is this possible?
What are the general steps required to do this?
We want to avoid delta loads of data from ECC 6.0 into CRM if this is at all possible.
Is this the right approach or should we consider Delta Loads?

BW Reprots in SAP CRM 2007 UI

Dear All
I want to know how BW Report can be shown through CRM 2007 ui.?
Is it shown as a work center or a work group which gets added to a navigation bar profile? or something else.
A detailed explanation with some config info will be appreciated.

you can show BW reports in Fact Sheet by using cstomaizing only look at
or base just call a "link" to the report, I dont have a system to pinpoint on the exect customazing task
but the base Idea that I saw is to give the CRM the logical system of the BW and the report ID.

Answer : Can be provided to Customer using Portal as well as CRM 2007 UI.
2) Does ERP integrate into the CRM Portal.
Answer : Not sure what you try to ask.
              With what i understand from Q, the answer is : CRM integrates with ERP.
              Portal is User Interface for Customer.
3)Does CRM Reports can be accessible thru internet with out portal.
Answer : Yes but Through CRM 2007 UI
4) What are all the futures of CRM 2007 related to Portal.
Answer : Portal is optional when used with CRM 2007.
              Basically it depends upon the Customer interest in using Portal with CRM 2007.

Creation of Zreports in CRM 2007

One way is if you use BW. Then you have to create reports there. The other is if you use interactive reporting. Then you can do it via wizard that is available in CRM 2007. To do this, you need to be logged in with the ANALYTICSPRO business role. There you will have the option to Search reports. There you can search standard reports and the ones modified by you. If you want to modify the SAP delivered reports, select the report, click the Copy button and then rename it etc. You then walk through the wizard and make the changes you need. You can also modify the ones you created by clicking on Edit.
Once you have created your reports, then make start ordywb transaction and check Show Custom Reports checkbox. This will show you the identifier for your custom report. Then you put your logical link in the nav bar profile to show the reports on web ui..

Vendor Number Range Conflict SAP ECC and CRM 2007

I need to load SAP ECC Vendor data from SAP to CRM and have setup most of the configuration as required. However I have an issue, the vendor number range used currently in our SAP system is already in use in our CRM system and has been for some time (for Prospects and Contacts). What is the best approach to dealing with this issue...
My initial thought was to see if we could have two different numbers for the same vendor in ECC and SAP CRM
eg SAP Vendor "50000001" equates to CRM "VEN50000001"
Is such as approach supported? Can you point me to the documentation that shows how such an approach could be implemented. What approaches have others done to address similar issues?

Implement the code present in the attachment. You can
change it according to your own requirements. The example code
suffixes 'VEND' before the first six digits of the vendor
number before it is downloaded to CRM.

I am currently working on the CRM 2007 Web UI
I have created the copy of existing standalone CRM client which is already having products, organization, BP created in it.
Now I am planning to connect the CRM client with the ECC client.
Is there any special care i need to take while connecting both the systems?
Also while doing replication any extra care do I need to take?

Creation of ECC Quote automatically from CRM 7.0 Opportunity

Dear Experts,
I have a unique requuirement of my customer, they want to trigger ECC quote from Crm Opportunity automatically once the status is changed to Create Quote. I have already maintained the neccesssary settings to create ECc quote from Opportunity as a follow up document, but the customer wants it be done automatically. Please guide whether and how it is possible?

We can create this using Sales Profile & manually the Sales Guy can create ERP Quotation from CRM opportunity.
Actually I am going to create tge whole process to crate ERP Quotation from CRM Opportunity & not able to see the follow-up ERP Quotation Transactions under CRM Opportunity.
Can u pls help me if u have already created this ?

Technical master data does not exist in CRM.
You need to replicate this data into the POD in CRM.
However you might want to:
Convince your client it's not a good idea to duplicate everything to CRM, there's a reason why they are two systems
Investigate the possibilities of custom replication objects (I'm not an expert on that, but from what i've heard it's not easy to get working)
Look into the possibility of using RFC calls to access the data directly in ISU from CRM, instead of replicating it.

Configurable products from ECC to CRM 2007

Hi ,
I understood from other posts that PME is now replaced by Product assignment block in the new Web GUI.
My question, is this applies to configurable products downloaded from ECC?, Any special settings needed?
I have a B2B scenario in Interaction center where in a sales order, diffrent variants of a product should be able to selected!
How does the pricing handled in this case? Can we still use ECC to maintain the pricing conditions?

Hi Praveen,
If you model your confid products in ECC, create variants in ECC, and download it to CRM, you really don't need PME.
For Product Variants you can specify the Basic Data 2 tab to specify the Config Material name and configure the variant. Download these to CRM along with your KB.
In CRM Sales Order, when you go to the configuration screen and configure the product, you have a tab on right hand side called as Product Variants. You can choose the appropiate variant from that column and replace the original config product with this one.
Regarding Pricing, you can have the Pricing Conditions maintaines in ECC and downloaded to CRM. In case you are using variant pricing you can even download variant conditions to CRM.

I browsed through the notes and i couldnt find any relevant information on EP 7.0 and CRM 2007. I have configured portal (Ep 7.0) with CRM 5.0, BI 7.0, ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.0. Problem i am facing is only specific to CRM 2007 and Portal Integration not an general Portal Problem.
